Good Day everyone,
We would like to introduce our first widget here to gather feedback from all the android user/developers in the forum.
Basically the concept is to provide a huge/big contact widget to make it earsier for user to make phone call under certain condition. (driving, or fast call using single hand). Beside that, this we also provide the features for user to choose their own skin/frames of preferences.
Below are the official description in the Market:
Create Simple Life - Add your favourite contact to your homescreen.
With this, a call or SMS to your favourite contact is just a touch away.
Boring with the dull Android call widget?
We provide you the option to choose your own preference of skin for your widget.
Feature Details:
1. Add 4 favourite contacts to homescreen
2. Option to choose either CALL, SMS or both action for ONE Touch event.
3. Option to choose your own preference of skin for the widget. (Random features also included)
4. Now you can make a phone call with 'speaker on' by just clicking on your contact.
As we still new here, we cannot include any screenshot and download link in this forum. Sorry.
You can download it by searching for "Contactz" in the market.
If you like it, please support us by giving your high rate in Google Market, recommending to your friends and forums.
On the other hand, we are looking forward to receiving your feedback and comment,we will keep working and make improvement from current version.
Please reply to this thread if there is any issue. We really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Hi All,
Just as an update, we had just release a new version which have features as below:
1. Option to choose "Call with Speaker On".
2. Support contact with multiple phone numbers.
3. New features to crop contact photo to prevent unwanted image scaling.
Please email us if you have any issue
Help us to rate it if you like it. Thanks
I haven't tried it but it sounds like a great widget! Thanks! I'll be sure to keep my eye on this one just in case I need it.
Pretty good.
Works well on my HTC. Pretty useful when driving.
Keep it up!
Hi All,
February 3rd, is known as Spring Festival or Chinese New Year for the Chinese. In order to celebrate it, we release four very special and unique skins for Contactz.
Hope you all like it.
Help us to rate it if you like it.
Thanks
p/s: Valentine skin is coming very soon.

NICE!
works well with my rooted g2 with stock rom : )

No go on HTC Desire with Oxygen RC7
Couldn't get it to work on my HTC Desire with Oxygen RC7 and LauncherPro Plus.
The widget seems to work OK but when I click "Done" there's no widget added to my home screen.
Only thing I would say is that when choosing the skin I wanted it clear so I chose no skin, but there's still a border around the widget. Also there's no option to change the colour of the contactz part to bring the options up, pretty hard to see black font on a black background. Another option you could release is an option to delete their names and just have the contacts pictures.

Nice app even nothings new. I dont like the skins. Some more minimal wil be appreciated.
The icon are to much big so this cause problems when I resize the widget.
1,93Mb are really to much for a simple widget.
I think that with small image contact space and nice interface it can be better.
For now I use Sense again.
Nice, useful!

Hi MrFrem82,
Thanks for the feedback. Your i5500 is running on Eclair 2.1 right?
Our widget was set to support SDK 1.5 and above, so basically it should apple to support for your phone.
Thanks

Hi kroogar,
This widget require the whole screen, so if there is not enough empty space on the screen, the widget will fail to be added.
Hope this will help

Hi SxcKieranGrr,
Thanks for the feedback. We will look into this new options.
Love this widget... thank you so much. Especially love the animation.
I'd like to make a request for consideration.... For those contacts with multiple numbers can a box like the "Call & SMS Option" with those numbers be displayed for selection? Up to 3 numbers would be great if screen estate permits.
Thanks again for an awesome widget.
Been looking for a widget like this!
Awesome widget! Works great on my Dell streak. I've been looking for a contacts widget like this with the single tap execute along with the eye candy. So far the "no frame" and "default frame" are my fav. My least fav frame is the "iphone". lol, it looks ok.
Suggestions:
-Create the option for a single contact w/frame as a 2x2 widget.
-More frame options to choose from. Maybe some other popular phone frames besides the iphone.
Thanks again.
Would like to try but it's hidden from my SGS Vibrant in the actual Market app. When I attempt install from the web based market, it says that my device is incompatible. Oh well.
Couldn't find it on android market. From web market was unable to download. using wildfire cm7. is it possible to upload the apk?
thank you guys. Nice app and love to try.
Hi All,
First of all, thanks for all the support and feedback.
We will work harder to made the application better and move to the next level.
As for now, we want to share with you all about our new released "HoneyComb" series of skin. We have Angry-HoneyComb and 2 others skins.

ICS SMS is a replacement for the stock Messaging app, for those that want the vanilla Holo theme, with or without stock ICS. Currently only supports SMS (Sorry no MMS yet guys!) and aims to provide a minimalistic SMS app, that fits in with the rest of the Ice-Cream Sandwich look and feel.
This app is still in beta, and being actively developed on (unfortunately its not my day job though) so bear this in mind with any feedback!
Download it now from the play store!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidproductions.ics.sms
Any bug reports you have PLEASE attach a logcat of whats going on - it makes the whole process a lot easier!
Any feature requests stick them in a reply here, or get in touch direct, and I'll see about getting it included!
Features
usual messaging features - Wouldn't be a messaging app without one!
POPUP DIALOG!
Customizable notifications
6 Different themes
Ability to disable other messaging notifications (NOTE: This doesn't always play well with GoSMS)
Notification Privacy Mode - Don't display a received message in notifications
'In reply to...' - See what the last message you sent to a person was - straight from the dialog
Call direct from SMS view
SMS Forwarding
Willing to do some more involved testing? Send me a PM, and I'll add you to the list of testers that get development versions of the app before it gets put into the market.

Outside of a few bugs I am pleasantly suprised by this. Obviously Mms support is a huge must, all these new beta messaging apps coming out also miss Mms support so if you want to beat the rush you better work on that quick. Other than that, using the ics framework background that you do, isnt so nice with the new theme engines as whatever background your using gets some interesting themeing images sometimes.
As a praise im loving the pop up, its almost exactly what im looking for the only thing I would like more is if it it was stretched out to full edge of screen but less width and lifted to the top, like miuis pop up. All the pop up add ons are in the middle nowadays except miui's and miui's does it right.
I also LOVE your in reply too button, being able to see the last thing I said real quick is freaking awesome!
Love the idea of being able to do a quick reply for the pop up instead of pressing reply in order to reply. But it could be better if it could sync the contact pictures (facebook) or maybe have a widget for the app.
man can u make a stock ics messaging theme. i really like the app cant wait till it has mms support
Mms is definitely the most requested feature, so that's the next thing that's going to appear in the app. Only problem is that I can't test it myself with my phone plan, so I will have to rely on others for testing. Mms viewing will be the first release, and sending will be second.
Thanks for all the feedback so far! Glad to see its appreciated.

great app!
just wish you could control font size for near sighted people.
Good, But missing mms and Facebook contact photo sync. Theme and extra features are new otherwise identical feature wise to tim hutts version on market, of which I like the light theme better myself. Also lacks feature of clicking on contact picture in thread to bring up their contact info. I don't care for it but I did notice. Reading white on a black background hurts my eyes. In the theme could you maybe give a light or dark option? At least in thread view, in thread select dark is fine. Maybe consider doing that nice striped background from the aosp dialer or holomusic on background of thread select?
I love devs that keep up on their work and I hope you are working diligently to get mms at least working.
Thanks!

Nice app, works very smoothly. The UI is nice too. My only thought is that the font size is a bit large, but overall I'm using it over the stock ics messaging app.

Id love to test it for you, my brother and I live together and both have unlimited messaging and plenty of data to spare, we both have gnexus and both are rooted so we are damn similar except he uses go sms. I can be the sender or receiver at any time and actually be using the network or wifi. Send me a PM
Edit- the Themes only seem to theme the receiver text and the text in the conversation list. Its nice for someone who doesnt use a custom theme engine but for the most part is a lil outdated, I would suggest opening up a cm9/7 theme engine apk and using the included framework info there so that, your sms app themes with the theme engine, a first since the included sms default app only has like 10% ability to be themed (NOTE - it already does this at like 60%, it just needs alot of clean up so that all themes make it look wonderful). Maybe add this as an option right along with the holo themes you have? Also the pop ups need a Mark as read button so that the Notification will clear from the status bar. And as mentioned before, the worst thing that can happen for a pop up is to pop up right in the middle of everything, move it up and out of the way, and if this is possible, when in landscape mode make it wrap to the top and left borders? I dont know any system that does that, and it moves itself the most out of the way from say a movie or something that your watching on the phone.
Looks great, I just wish it supported MMS but I will definitely use it when it does!

This and emoji. Nice work!
Just downloaded it and played with it for a bit. So far, it's looking pretty good!
I know it's still being worked on, but here's a couple feature suggestions:
1) Ability to add multiple contacts to recipients. I send "mass" texts all the time, whether it be to 2 people or 20 people.
2) Ability to set a ring tone or vibration for the notification.
Great start though! Can't wait for mms to be built in, and to see the progression of this app!
Using the included phone dialer if I tell it go to SMS it force closes and if I use ex dialer then it goes to a new SMS for existing names. The difference being ex dialer sends it with parentheses and a dash and your SMS app doesn't include those when looking up numbers

Hi, I wrote Tweet Lanes. ATM I'm preventing tablets from being able to install the app via the Play Store. I'm not happy with how it looks & feels on a tablet at this point, and I'd rather not subject all the tablet owners to a sub-par experience and have their first impressions of the app be anything less than awesome.
I am definitely aiming to add proper tablet support soon though, just as soon as I add the initial feature requests users have for the phone version.
Be sure to follow me @chrismlacy and I will be shouting from the rooftops when tablet support goes live

Hi, yes I can see there's a slight alignment issue on 'My Account' button. But other than that this app is awesome! Looks great and it's awesome to see some decent twitter apps for Android at last (I will always miss Tweetbot though)
I am a huge twitter user and sadly have to stick with the official app for now until this gets notifications (and auto update that I can choose interval)
But this is definitely something I want to keep an eye on!

The keyboard is very usable, but might take a little attention at first. Large fingers might want a stylus
What are the changes!!!!
Maybe i can give one or 2 stars extra on the review.
...Nope, the contents is still not good readable with no formatting text and line breaks.
Even a
in the text is just shown as
and not a line break.
The only thing i see is the background is different. But not worth an extra star on my review.
I will still test the app on every new change. And i will change my review on the app, according what i appreciate it for.
I cant find your app....
For Android 4.4+ in Samsung Gear Store.
Maybe you have to update the Samsung Gear App.
Thanks
Maybe that's why... Still on 4.3
Is there any way to change the background? I don't like the defaults. Also I think it would be useful to cut off the title of group hangouts.

Personally i like a dark theme better.
I'd even go for straight black since it's an AMOLED screen. It would use up less battery and match my current white on black themes.
Also, I'd like the text boxes to be white text with a black background.

This version is really nice.
I like how you found a way to keep the app running. I hope this will make the app more stable.
Am giving it a try again for a couple of days.
You could put sound in this program? not only vibration?
Greetings!
I'm already really impressed now. It's really stable, no missed messages yet. No showing the app when not used. And good readability using a smaller font. My font size choice is 18.
I changed my review of the app. And you would like what i have wrote.
There are only two issues from a 5 star.
1) To have a button for every message to open the message app on the phone, dismiss the message and move back out of the watch app with just one button press.
2) To back out of the app when the message is cleared from the phone. And no messages left to see.
The next will be nice to have extra.
- Different title font setting
- Dark theme.
- Enable the app on default after installation
- Having the two buttons (disable and exit) into a menu.
- Easy scrolling to top of the message.
This app is so good now. I am using it now as main and only notification app.
This is the best notification app out of all other 4 apps.
Really good job!
I hate it to be the only one on this thread to post comments about the app. Especially bad ones, or bug.
But i stumbled on two issues.
When bluetooth is disconnected or the watch it out of range. And a message has raised, this messages won't be sent to the watch when bluetooth has re-established the connection.
I use Tweetcaster for Twitter as twitter app. And when the app gets a message from this, the contents on the watch shows the contents twice with exact the same text. So this is one message from the twitter app and one message on the watch.
These are screenshots from the twitter app...
There are some more problems.
First sometimes the apps hangs and doesnt get messages. Rebooting the watch doesnt help. Pressing the enable/disable button also not. Pressing the exit button and reopening the app does.
Second the are a couple of seconds after a notification before it gets to the watch. And a bit more after the situation of the first has been resolved. Perhaps a reboot of the phone solves this.
Third, the battery usage on the watch is a bit higher. About 10% a day.

Contact Tiles is an app which allows you to generate pictures for contacts.
Deafult placeholder are boring and often ugly, more over - they will look differently across apps. Finding nice photo of each person also can be troublesome and sometimes impossible...
But Contact Tiles is here to help you - now your contacts can have unified, clean and customized look.
After few weeks of hard work on rewrite I present you Contact Tiles 3.0 with:
individual contact editing
new color schemes
new avatars
adjustable avatar transaprency
single color tiles
double letters
and more to come, since extending to new features is now very easy.

I am glad to be rid of the stock cartoony samsung contact tiles. I used the gray scale and it looks great with the weyo theme.
