Hey,
I have a question about the Android default browser.
With the IPhone / IPad you can make a HomeScreen Bookmark based on a Webclip Picture.
Now my Question is can I Change the Preview from the Browser Bookmarks to a static Picture?

Her you can see a example.
Thats look nicer than a preview of a page.

I would like to see an app or script to do followings: I was wondering, if there is a way to change the wallpaper on WP7 automatically. Since there is already an app to access bing images (Bing2Wall), it would be nice to directly link bing homepage images to the phone wallpaper.
Can somebody please write a script or an app to do this? It can either get picture feeds directly from Bing, Picassa, flicker or maybe your own camera pictures and update the wallpaper automatically for the interval of time that user chooses.
Thanks in advance.
Looks like no one like it.
No one is interested in this. or It cannot be done. I would also like to see such an app which changes the wallpaper dailly\hourly for me from my folder or bing or picasa or others...
Don't know if it could be done but would like a bing wallpaper feed to change my wallpaper every X time as well. Maybe daily to fit the actual bing search wallpaper
Is there a widget that allows me to use a web age of my choosing and the ability to select links within that page?
The default launcher let you make a bookmark widget, unfortunately it's all your bookmarks and not individual.
I use ADW EX Launcher and it let me set individual bookmark on the home screen
Yeah I use ADW and have a page of bookmarks. I just wanted afull page widget of a web page.
I would also like to do this. I haven't yet got into ADW or LP, but on the desktop, for Chrome this is as simple as launching it with the command line:
-app=<URL>
I have no idea if Chrome on Honeycomb even supports instances, let alone commandline parameters.
Is there any way to implement a tabbed action bar similar to the one in the honeycomb browser? I'm developing an app and I want to be able to have multiple work spaces in different tabs and really like the look of the tabs on the browser.
I'm looking for an app to show one of my bookmarks with a updated preview of the website. So that i have a web widget to show my school schedule and that it updates so i see my new schedule every day.
So i basicly have my browser as a widget on my homescreen showing a specifik website
Hope one of you out there knows an app

Hum, I was just looking for the same thing... I did some Googling but could not find anything...
Any hints?
I know the samsung galaxy s II has a shortcut or widget that shows a bookmark preview, but it's a system app, and it doesn't work when i install it as a system app / i can't see in in my app drawer..
Is there any way to make Chrome to default to desktop pages?
I know that there's a menu choice to load a desktop page after the mobile page is loaded first, but that's just stupid (Google!) and useless.
This is the reason I don't use Chrome on Android.
With the default Browser defaulting to desktop pages is possible, with the UAString 'trick'.
