Hi there,
I would like to present to You Iida Launcher which is a launcher from japanese phone Infobar A01. This is the video that shows how it looks:
Instalation and download link:
Here is the CWM package that I made with Launcher and its widgets just instal it via CWM (I tested it on i9000 and i9100 but it should work on ANY phone):
http://www.multiupload.com/TH7VSEACRU
In order to uninstall it just remove all "Iida....apk" from /system/app
There are now two themes for this launcher avaiable in here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16748025&postcount=74
What is working:
-Launcher it self
-Weather Widget but it shows only weather for Japan
-Clock Widget
-RSS Widget
-Memo Widget
-Photo Frame Widget
-Calendar Widget
What is not working:
-E-Mail Widget
-Phone Widget
-All widgets not related to launcher
-Launcher sounds can be silenced only with other media sounds
-Other stuff I did not find
Developement:
Currently I can not work on this to make it more usable (i don't have time and I don't really now how) so
anyone who can and knows how to is welcome to work on this.
Things that needs to be done are:
-Fixing not working Iidia Widgets
-Adding the ability to add other widgets
-Making it more customizable
-Adding more languages support (Only English and Japanese now)
-Other ideas?

Wow nice project
Thank u man
I hope it gets more devs attention. This launcher has a huge potential and is kind of unique.
Looks nice, reminds me of WP7, just a more lively version. WP7 is a little too plain, even though I'm using Launcher7 on my X2
Didn´t work with MIUI on SGSII.... Flashed, nothing happened.
Sometimes You have to choose Iidia Launcher for a couple of times to make it start. It is one of the things that makes it an alpha release.
Is the only way to use it by flashing or can it installed like a normal apk?
Which recovery do you use??(version number)

I doubt that but You can try. In order to make launcher working You would have to
install IidiaHome.apk and IidiaPrestetTheme.apk (It is launcher and theme without theme laucher won't work). If it does not work You can always push it manualy via adb or Root Explorer.

Launcher lookds great. Please continue to work on that
I Flashed it but its not there even checking the system/apps directory shows nothing so I tried to unzip and just install the apks but they all fail to install. I'm running a thunderbolt with A05PTH3ORY(modded cyanogen). This home screen replacement looks great and I really want to try it any ideas?

Thanks that worked perfectly.
I can help to translate this app in French if you want.
This is the launcher of my dreams. I wish someone talented works on this and makes it usable. I'm tired of iPhone clone launchers. We need original ideas like this. I wish I knew how to code Android apps so I could work on it.
is it possible to get a instable .apk which you can put with a file explorer to system/app ?
i 've tried to install the home .apk but it says me, that there is a parsing error :/
Mmmm... After reboot, the launcher doesn't work :/

Hi guys. I found amazing apk in Xperia Mini & Pro Development. New Settings style that should be work on all XPERIA 2011 GingerBread based ROM (both stock or modified one). I tried and it works. Here is the link :

Looks pretty cool, but the only problem I ran into is that com.android.settings force closes when opening brightness controlls
No force closes for me r800i Love it much better than stock .
Looks good but same FC issues on R800x

There is two methods:
1. Flash it in recovery.
2. Unpack .zip file and copy settings.apk from /app folder to system/app folder on ur phone
!ALWAYS REMEMBER ABOUT BACKUP (WHOLE ROM OR .APK)!
I prefer second method.

I've used a rom on my old phone that had a lot of FC issues that were in the settings so I'm really patient with this, most of it works. It's anything that involves a slider actually. Volume, brightness, and also when I click "More" under network settings. But I always have triggers on my Launcher so I barely go on the settings menu. I'm using the R800x.
I modified iiandskater's Settings.apk to fix some icons that bothered me. I removed the duplicate location & security setting and replaced some ixons with Xperia S style ones.
This is not CWM flashable, if someone feels like making a flashable .zip please do Otherwise just adb push or replace with Root Explorer and set correct permissions.
The SemsSettings.apk is included to fix the alignment and icon to suite the overall style. Enjoy!
woow I like this! is there any way to add the button switch ics have?
Still force closes when I select "More" under wireless, just a heads up. Thank you though
Might be cause you're running a CDMA version of the phone :S This is the same Setting.apk as the one from the thread in the OP, just modified to look nicer.
I'll post my version in the original thread and point out that it still produces FC's on some devices (probably CDMA only).

Created this thread to keep the development side free of spam. And giving some noobs support and confirming what works with this port and what doesn´t.
I´m going to start of with this theme:
5.9.1 Version bootloops use older versions!
I can confirm that this theme is working . It has way better music app layout than the stock music app. Music app now has 3 new and different sized widgets. It also contains 2 extra launchers, Nova and Apex. Both are smooth and ICS lookalike. It also has 1% battery icons.
It is also available as partly blue theme, more like stock ics.
Themed stuff
-Contacts
-Messaging
-Browser
-Gallery
-Camera (well it isnt working with our phone so never mind that)
-Google Play
-Keyboard (DIDNT WORK FOR ME, BUT INSTALLING ALTERNATIVE KEYBOARD WORKED!!)
-Google Talk
-Google Voice
-Email
-Calendar
-YouTube
-Trebuchet launcher
-Nova Launcher
-Genie widget
-CM9 Music and Clock
-Circle battery (AOKP only)
The keyboard disappears after flashing this theme!
Keyboard fix: just install another keyboard example go keyboard.
WAIT AFTER FLASHING!! IT TAKES ABOUT 2-5 MINS OF BLACK SCREEN AND THEN IT BOOTS WITHOUT LOGO TO LOCK SCREEN SO KEEP TAPPING POWER ON BUTTON!
BLACK SCREEN FIX: This occurs every reboot, you just have to wait after white android boot logo. Then try to unlock screen because it goes straight to screen lock. Try disabling SIM asking at boot if that helps.
It also might lag little bit in recovery just after flashing!
Be patient!
Q&A
My phone keeps bootlooping, what should i do?
Get resources.arsc from the folder /MORPH/system/framework/framework-res.apk of a previous working release or delete it (you'll have some blue stuff)
My phone and contacts are not showing, what to do?
Flash latest google apps for ICS and then the theme again.
Gmail app force closes, any fix?
Go in system settings, apps and clear gmail datas
I'm on 4g and i'm having troubles with sms/mms and calls, what to do?
Delete contacts.apk and mms.apk from /XTRAS/system/app before flashing
How revert back after this theme?
Flash via CWM the backup in /sdcard/UniversalFlasher folder
SCREENSHOTS!

Did you have any mods in CM9 before tried? That might be the problem. Did you try to unlock screen by tapping power on? Otherwise wipe dalvik and flash again.
Why you cant wait bugless cm9. This topic causes lots of spams in both topics

I fetched the 4.0.3 Contacts.apk, overwrote it on /system/app, set permissions to rw- r-- r--, rebooted, et voila.
So, until ravp624 solves the issue by providing a universal Contacts.apk, I'm gonna use this (slightly outdated?) workaround.

So, after installing Blue Infinitum, you can try replacing the Contacts.apk with the one I quoted above. Then set permissions, reboot, and you're good to go.
EDIT:
I modified and repackaged the CWM file, which found from i9000 Themes' forum; and included the inverted 4.0.3 Contacts.apk from above, plus a less spammy updater script.
So there you have it; inverted apps, the easy way, compatible with our i9001/CM9.
I have included only the basic stuff (aka only what's present in Arco68's CM9):
Calendar [4.0.4]
Contacts [4.0.3]
Email [4.1]
Gmail [4.0.5]
MMS/SMS [4.0.4]
GTalk [4.0.4]
Market [3.5.16]
If you want to add any other skinned app to the package; you just have to open it with winRAR, navigate to "\system\app\", then drag and drop it into the archive.
Download: Click meh!
Known Issues:
"Strip unicode characters" option is missing.

OK if you are having issues resizing the wallpaper in the gallery that came with the new ICS leak then I've got a fix for you. I tried changing the code of the gallary3d apk in both ucle2 ics and 2.3.5 gingerbread with no success. So I found a gallary apk file on the net for android stripped the code made some minor tweaks installed and bam I could resize wallpaper again. OK let me give you some info you need to know...
First you will need the apk file from the link below. And you may want to download apex launcher from the market and here is why...
1. Using Apex launcher you have the ability to resize wallper and wallpaper scrolls again as you flip thru home screens. Apex launcher is a free download from the Google play store.
2. With stock touchwiz launcher that came on the phone after you install the apk file below you will have the ability to resize wallpaper only the scrolling wallpaper as you flip thru home screens still does not work in touchwiz and since I don't use touchwiz I'm not gonna try to make it cause touchwiz sucks anyway.
3. With go launcher, tw launcher, MX home and other launchers on the play store I have no idea. Untested on launchers other than those listed above. So try if you want and report if it works on other launchers if you want.
I have tested this on my skyrocket and it is working. Also tested it on my wife's Samsung INFUSE 4G running gingerbread and it fixed her wallpaper resizing issue to. Also fixes wallpaper scroll on the Infuse using touchwiz and go launchers but that was on the Infuse only. WALLPAPER SCROLL DOES NOT WORK USING TOUCHWIZ ON THE SKYROCKET WALLPAPER RESIZE ONLY UNLESS YOU USE APEX LAUNCHER. Just wanted to say that again so I don't get 1000 messages saying my wallpaper still won't scroll using stock launcher.
Now one more thing if you install the apk below like normal just open and install and you still have a problem resizing wallpaper then try this... you must be rooted and have an app installed that lets you get to the root folders. I use rom tool box lite free from Google play but you can use whatever root file explorer you choose. Open up root explorer find the apk you downloaded below and copy it. Then navigate to the system/app folder and paste it there. Use rom manager also free from Google play to fix permissions reboot and it should work. But try the regular install method first. As I said this is working for me on both the new ics leak on my skyrocket and on gingerbread on the Samsung infuse...
Thanks to xcraxydx for providing a couple of apks that I needed....

No guarantees (and make backup before), but maybe the addon pack http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1429170, (not the theme, find the "Inverted apps addon" in post 1) could work - it seems to copy orginal apk's to sd card, apply changes and put them back, plus it comes with flashable uninstaller. Addon works on my CM9, never had to test uninstaller though.
Nope, No luck.
I flashed the addon pack. Every default app that was themes except Calculator FCed. Got to put back the back up.
Thanks for the time.
I think this works only for SGS2.
Solved.
The work around I would was that install Kingdroid_AOSP_MMS.apk ( Same as the AOSP apk at The MidTeam 1.6.2 thread v 1.1 ) right after flashing the ROM. Before opening SMS app in the stock.
If flashed right after the MMS becomes the Inverted Version. As far as I know, there is no other way. I have tried almost all the MMS.apk that says inverted after opening MMS that comes default.
This solved my issue. :highfive:
