so my infuse sim card reader is messed up, it won't read my card. Is there any way through rooting or a custom ROM to unlock it to still be able to use it as a regular phone?
let me also add that inserting another carrier SIM won't work. One of the contact pins on the reader is missing so it just can't recognize a card at all. Is there anyway to unlock it without the use of a unlock code?
You could use Wifi to do internet calling, I've never done it before, and therefore have no clue how to do it. (that is if the infuse allows you to use wifi when the sim is out) You need the Sim card to make calls otherwise though, if its a hardware issue your in trouble. You could try to mess the failing pin to get it to make contact...
after s-off, how can i sim unlock it? is it possible?
if i have a sim card it asks for sim network lock pin and i cannot skip this step, if i start the phone without a sim card i can turn airplane mode and then restart it with a sim card. can i skip the screen requesting network lock without removing the sim card or turning airplane mode before inserting it?
couldn't find a free way, went to a service and unlocked it with xtc clip.

I wish to purchase a dual sim android phone (most likely samsung)
Is there an app/ or samsung dual sim phone which does the following...
if I wish to call a contact stored in sim memory of either sim card. the call will only be initiated from the sim card it is stored in..rather than giving me an option every time to choose a sim for calling.
Hi.
I am using cm13.
My 1st sim is not working.
Phone detects sim network and shows.
But no service in 1st sim.
Remove SIM card, Re-insert SIM and verify it has been inserted correctly and completely.
or try another SIM Card or in other SIM slot.
I have Lenovo A Plus rooted by Supersu and plan to upgrade it to the pro version, in order to be able to set the pin-code to root-access. I have a task to make the SIM card binding to smartphones so that employees can not insert their SIM cards into them. Is it possible to do this? I mean, that the smartphone refuses to work with another SIM card.
Okay. I'll ask the question in a different way.
How in sh-script to get the serial number of the SIM card or phone number? If this is done, then I can put the script on the minute-by-minute execution and cyclically shutdown the phone if the SIM card number is not the one. Any ideas?
