Go to Android development and hacking forum, Android themes, and look at the stickies. There are a couple of threads devoted to learning how to theme. The learning how to theme thread has a guide and a lot of information on doing it.

Help us to become develpor any dev please
Anyone
Any dev help us please
You're gonna want to search google for the android sdk, and eclipse, and learn about java. There's also kitchens for rom cooking around, but don't ask me where or how to use them lol. Lurk around the Android forums here on xda, and read up on the stuff you're most interested in doing, be it coding apps, theming, cooking roms, all of the above. You're gonna have to invest a good amount of time to develop any skill at this stuff, it definitely won't happen overnight. Have fun and good luck!

[Q] Need Help updating my infuse to 2.3.5

I need some help please with updating my rooted AT&T Infuse 4G. I don't know the steps and can't find a start-finish on how to do it here nor youtube. Can I get some assistance please? I've finally dumped my iPhone 4 for Android.
Maybe wait for it to come out first

Sorry if I sound harsh, but all of the info is easily found in the development section on how to root and install custom roms. For somebody to make a tutorial on the whole process would take more time than you just reading up a bit. Also, things are constantly changing with how things are done in the process, so making a complete tutorial is basically useless in the long run, that's why there aren't any. Also, it's much better for you if you read up on each step of the process, because then you actually know what you're doing, not just blindly following something.
To actually help you out though, look for the "odin back to stock with root and modded 3e" thread, following those directions will get you rooted. After that, follow the instructions in the op of any rom thread, and it will tell you how to install that specific rom.

Pretty much to figure out what's out there, take the time to read through the dev section. But do NOT post there unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure what you are posting is of use to a developer (e.g. a bug report with complete dmesg or logcat as appropriate, or answering a specific data request from a developer.) People who post stupid questions in the Dev forums tend to get torn a new one. Random questions are far more forgivable here in Q&A.
Seriously - just take some time to read threads without doing anything with your phone, simply to learn and "get a feel" for how things work.
As to 2.3.5 - Sorry, the only 2.3.5 available is our partial Cyanogenmod port. It has a number of things broken about it, so it is NOT ready for general use, definitely not someone who posts "how do I install 2.3.5" here.
Rogers Gingerbread (the most mature Gingerbread release for our phones at the moment) is 2.3.3. Some of the ROMs ported with Hellraiser are 2.3.4. These are fairly mature, but all have their issues.
For example, if you want HSDPA+ speeds or HDMI output you're going to have to stick with 2.2.x (e.g. Froyo).
Thx guys. Ive tried looking for things to read and even read wiki in rooting, roms, kernels, cwm, etc.. The list goes on... I am getting nothing for a starter (noob) to the scene of Android.
I am pretty leet when it comes to iphone jailbreak community because ive been in that scene since the iphone launched back in 07'. I have an understanding of bootloaders, basebands and things. Oh, and no I didnt use noob jailbreaking tools.

Noob looking for Latest/Greatest Inspire 4g Rom

Noob playing catch-up, I installed Revolution 6.3.1 with sense 3.0 recently and am wondering if there are newer ROMs to install. I'm enjoying the thrill of the ride and just want to keep up with the latest and greatest. But with all the threads and discussions going on I'm not really looking to read through every discussion board and every thread to find the appropriate topic...if someone could gently point me in the right direction I will willingly follow.
thanks
Noob

Not a good first post. Anyway, go to the development section. That's where all the ROMs are. Don't ask which one is best, unless you like to be abused.
A good hint might be, look at the ROM threads with the most posts and the most recent posts. 5 different people might recommend 5 different ROMs. Admitting you aren't going to do the needed reading and searching isn't a very good first post. Because if you did you would notice that these threads get closed quickly.
i made it in before close!!!! haha
Please understand this is not a Rom support site. This is a Development site. We are here to work on active development.

A good place to start

Where's a good place to start learning android development. Should I get a book from Barnes and Noble or should I look online.

You wanna make apps or help with rom development?
For apps development I can recommend :
* O'reilly's Head First Java 2nd edition
* Murphy's Busy coder's guide to android development
*YouTube Android lesson 1-20
sent from me
A little of both, I just want a better understanding of how things work. I've done simple things in C what ever plus. So I might catch on quick.

There is a whole forum devoted to generic android development: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=564
Soon, there will be XDA-University. (Go sign up! I'm working on some stuff there.)
There is also our wiki for more device specific stuff: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S/SGH-T959V

New to Sensation Modding

I've been browsing this site for a while now, and I've used the very helpful guides and ROM's on here to modify my Sensation and to take advantage of everything it's capable of. I've been learning as much as I can about android development and I hope to someday be on the level of producing my own ROM, or at least a kickass new theme.
I look forward to the future awesomeness that awaits!
Please read the guide sticky before posting here. Threads like this, though posted in good spirit maybe, are not helpful to anyone, thus regarded off-topic.
