[Q] help new update 2.3.5

i have a htc desire s i havent yet receieved the new update to ginger bread 2.3.5 (sense 3.0) ive tried downloading one from here renaming it to update.zip and putting it on me sd card and rebooting the phone recovery blah blah and hasnt worked
can anyone tell me or give me a link of the one that will work for my version

if theres any other info u need please ask im egar to get the update and emails to htc aint helped since there responce is Wait...

[Q] htvdev unlock not working

Hello all,
New to this so not sure where I've gone wrong.
Tried updating the rom on my chacha on htc dev
android 2.3.5
software 1.57.771.3
used RUU from H3G, it needs ROM version 1.57.771.1
tried trawling the internet for other RUU, no joy with anything.
Please help?

How to Revert Back HTC Sensation to Stable Firmware and then Root the phone ??

Hey, I have HTC Sensation.. My phone was working fine untill I got new ( my phone already had ICS 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6 ) update from HTC 3 days ago, it was software update 3.33.707.7.. after updating my wifi stopped working ! I some how managed to solve this wifi problem, but still wheneva I restart my phone I need to connect my phone with some other wifi first, and then it works on my own wifi.. My current software version is 3.33.707.6, android version is 4.0.3 and HTC Sensce 3.6..
My phone is not rooted ! Kindly tell me how I can revert back to previous firmware(3.32.401.5)and then root my phone ?!
I m a beginner. and dunno much how to root or revert !
I searched your forum first ! but dint find the solution to my prob i.e Reverting back to stable firware and then root the phone !

SuperCID your phone and then run any RUU you want to get back to stock GB rom.

Can you please elaborate it little more !?
I mean, how to do the thing you mentioned !?

The key is to get S-OFF so look for tutorials that get you there. Then you can do all sorts of marvellous things.
Alternatively, I have also seen people get to the Carrier's service desk, complain and get a fix pushed to the phone.

WiFi
You may just have to forget the WiFi network and enter the key again.

[Q] htc m7 i cannot update my device

Hey ,i bought the htc one m7 may 2013..a year and a half ago and since then,when i go to update software it says there's no update found,i'm still stuck on android 4.1.2..they told me that i should change the device's RUU to wwe ...anyon3 have a clue about the problem ,please help me to solve it..and thank you..
