Hi guys i just wanted to share this awesome app. its called tv shows hd. for some reason they removed it from the market, but i just recently found it. the link is http://www.mobileboxs.info/android-apps/tv-shows-hd-v2-9-android/ just click on the megashare mirror and close all popups. click on where it says free download and close popups. then just wait for the countdown and download the apk. install it by either putting it on your sd card or going directly on your phone and downloading it and installing it like any other apk. Enjoy!!!!
UPDATE: I just found the newest version of this app which fixes the full screen problem...http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?647650-TV-Shows-HD-v3.0-(free) you have to register to get the app, but hey 10 seconds is a small price to pay for such an awesome app. And the show quality is AWESOME
UPDATE 2: I just figured out how to use dropbox . Here is a link to the apk... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/25647849/TV Shows 3.0.apk
This is awesome. Not ALL shows work but A LOT do. Re-living my childhood watching Are you Afraid of the Dark.
"How I Met Your Mother" at the palm of my hands!!! Awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
My pleasure guys just trying to spread the android love. If an episode doesn't work just close the app and restart it usually works for me
Any way to make it full screen?
I use "TV Shows Stream". The free version only allows a few shows, but if you just dish out a couple bucks for the paid app, it's well worth it. Tons of shows that update frequently.

i use this too and its awesome!! anybody know of a live tv app? the last one was taken over by the FBI and other legal stuff anybody find a new one?
To make it fullscreen, just long press near the top somewhere until you see the full screen icon on the top left corner
Tv shows stream is like 8 dollars now...too expensive if u ask me. Tv shows Hd is free and the quality is amazing
Whenever I do full screen like 10 seconds later it goes back to un-full screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

Awesome work ...I didn't know how to put the apk for people to download otherwise I would have done it. Android community ftw . Thanks raz
Cant get this damn app to work. It searches for servers and then gives me an ad and then black screen. Tried force stoppping, and retarting. Even rebooted my phone. Any advice? Do I need to be on Wifi or is 3G fine? On a rooted Droid X running 2.3.3.

I can confirm the app working perfectly on my Droid X running 2.3.3 on 3G. Don't know what would be giving you issues.
I'm not entirely sure what is going on. But whenever I try and download this one specific app (samurai vengeance) it says I have insufficient space on my card. I know this to be untrue. I have tons of space left. Over 1 gig alone in the program and close to 11 gigs in my internal. What's going on and how can I fix it? Any suggestions would be beautiful. I'm afraid this may carry over to other apps I want to install as well.
*Edit: I am running Infused 1.5.3 and the community kernal that comes with it. I partitioned my SD card a while ago but did a factory reset (not sure if that removes the partition or not). Thought that info may be helpful.

I am having the exact same problem! And it wasn't just that application. I ran into two instances of this same occurrence in the market. It is borderline frustrating.
I'm also running Infused 1.5.3 and the community kernal v8, both of which have been treating me phenomenally thanks to gtg's hard work. Anybody have any thoughts on this? I never partitioned my SD in any way, so I don't think that has anything to do with it.
I'm starting to wonder if I should take it back to stock and just start all over. But I'd rather not.

Any way you could give it a shot for us just for the heck of it and let us know if you're still experiencing the same issue? I would like to know if I need to change roms or not. I'm missing out on a few good apps!
It's not the rom. It's something with the new market.

Sorry, I just saw this post. Looks like it's related to the new market from what i'm hearing? Hope they fix this soon.

It has to do with the cache size of the new market or that's what I've heard. The way to solve it is to go into applications -> market -> clear cache/data -> restart phone. And you should be able to download whatever you are trying to download again. But once your cache for the market fills up you have to do it again. Annoying I know, but at least it works.
i got this error today! and for the first time ever. i had just wiped and reflashed up my phone. it was plants vs zombies, a huge file, and i already have about 300 apps, all on my phone, not the sd card. so i thought i actually had a problem. but im using only half my phone storage, so i went back and tried it again and it worked fine. installed a few more apps after that too. dunno why. but yeah.
Thanks for all of the replies guys! This clears it up a whole bunch. Before I even thought about trying the old market I actually set my app downloads to go to my internal instead of the default 2 gig partitioned section. This helped me download more, but didn't solve everything. Now that I know it's the new market, it makes everything go down easier. I love these forums and I love the infuse. Keep up the good work.

So if you have tried to install Wind up Knight you already know it won't install on your GS4G, I asked the developer why and he replied:
"Hi Jorge,
Do you have an HTC Desire or a Samsung Galaxy S? If so, your phone is broken and you should complain to your carrier about selling you a defective product. Those devices are unable to download any application that is larger than about 30 mb. There's nothing we can do about it from this end--it's a problem created by Samsung and HTC.
Good luck,
Chris"
So my question here is, does any one have a fix?
I believe you go to manage applications market and clear the cache and data

Ha.. Defective... psh. So what are you supposed to do, return it for the same "Defective Phone"?
Big question, are you using Data or Wifi to download?
Have you tried the app download all files? I think I read somewhere that it would allow you to download larger apps.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
I have tried both data and wifi, so there's no way to bypass this? I have never seen an app in the market that takes more than 15 MB but this one is almost 50 MB.
Download app to computer copy to sdcard and install using something like root explorer

EDIT: Oh well, I thought you could download the app to your computer fromt the android market... guess not.
Anyone have any other ideas?
I am having the same exact problem. I am trying to download a 31 mb file. It will not download. 20 mb files are fine. WTH?
I have tried all the app cache and data refreshes mentioned.
This is lame.
But, the suggestion to download to PC and load onto sd card is a great suggestion. Thanks for that. I hadn't thought of that.

I think raver posted a fix for this for froyo.
Those big files are usually games and if you search you can often find the apk available for download somewhere other than the market. I did that with this sword fighting game but the game turned out not to be worth much.
It could be the new market...
I had this issue a while back on my vibrant and now again with Wind Up knight on my GS4G
I believe its the new market causing the issue.
When I uninstalled the updates of Market 3.1.5 and rolled back to 2.12 on my GS4G, Wind up knights Downloaded and installed no problem. My GS4G is rooted with Stock ROM.
My Vibrant is on Cyanogen Mod 7 with Market 3.1.5, unfortunately version 2.12 is not on the ROM so I can not roll back and install this Game.
I don't think its entirely a device issue. There must be something about the hardware that the Market Software just doesn't agree with.
Any other ideas?
I saw that on SGS I9000, custom ROMs fixed it by changing the download temp file size. Maybe we van do the same on SGS 4G...
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
I have the same problem using the Android Market, but if it's a problem with the phone, why can I DL Peggle which is 74.1MB using the Amazon Market app? I've had no problems at all DL'ing huge files using Amazons Android Market. It wasn't until I heard about a game that was only on the Android Market that I ran it this problem.
I've also read that to fix this all you have to do is roll back to an older version of the Market. The updates have messed it up somehow.
the problem is not the device...
the issue comes with the market sets a cache limit ...
eg cache limit is x size apk is y size if below x limit download if beyond x limit deny
the reason the trick i posted in froyo worked before the new market is it deleted out the temp file folders and recreated tehm without the restriction imposed...
now its handled by the apk itself..
also note working on removing it from the market ;P cause honestly its annoying as hell!!!
Definitely the Market
Its definitely an issue with the new Market 3.x
And it is cache related, but should not be something that we have to worry about fixing.
I found the issue on Google code on the Open Handset Alliance Project. The bug is open, and it would be great for everyone that has this issue to click the star so that the issue can become more important and hopefully be fixed for the next update to Market.
code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=21456&q=market%20insufficient%20space&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Owner%20Summary%20Stars&#makechanges
The issue was even opened from a rep inside Samsung.
Thanks all!
Hello,
Today i downloaded The Amazing Spider Man SD data for my infuse 4G. The SD data came into three different Winzip files that needed to be extracted. However, whenever i attempt to extract the files the message that "files already exits, do you want to overwrite" message keeps appearing for every item in each Winzip. After i say yes and extract everything, it comes up to 1.3GB even though the game requirement specifies 2GB of free storage? Then i move the to /android/data/... and disconnect my phone from PC. When i attempt to start the game the Gameloft logo comes up, then it says you game has been downloaded successfully, and when i press OK it closes. So i have three questions:
How do i exactly extract the files.
Is the game suppose to be 1.3GB
Does the game crash because it is not compatible with Infuse 4G
Thanks,
-LMS
The forums do not support piracy so we therefore can not help you with his issue
Unless sd data is something completely else that has nothing to do with piracy...in that case maybe someone can help...either way I wouldn't be able to help
Ok after a little research I've come to this conclusion: you illegally downloaded the app and could not download the ad data from the app for that reason so you downloaded it from google
That would be piracy...which isn't allowed in these forums, gonna have to ask the mods to close the thread...sorry

Its not supporting piracy im just asking for SD help. I actually paid for the app but everytime i opened it same thing happened force closed without letting me download SD Data. So i thought because I dont have SIM Card and I am using wifi its the reason behind the force closes. So I had to download data from somewhere else.

i reported but when the mod comes to check it out he should see this post, so hopefully it will remain open and if not ill ask for it to be re-opened
anyways Sim card should have nothing to do with it since it is a game...and wifi is typically suggested when downloading game data..so maybe it is in fact not supported by the infuse, if thats the case i suggest you request a refund from google/gameloft...although i do not know how the refund system works
sorry for the misunderstanding

Is the SD data that you downloaded for the same version of the game that is in the Google Play Store? That could be your problem.
Just to let you know, I have the game and I runs pretty well with an occasional lag.

But you downloaded the data from somewhere else. Even if you have bought the game, you downloaded the data from somewhere else, which means warez.
Warez are not tolerated here on XDA.

You need to do all the "get started" procedures to get it. Google it and ull find a link sign in to dropbox and I think u need to do a few steps that takes 30 secs then u get all the space
