Problems playing 3d games (Backbreaker) running TNT Lite 4.4.0 - G Tablet General

Is anyone else having a problem running backbreaker with TnT Lite 4.4? The game loads but the 3d graphics are not being drawn correctly. You can't see the player or the field.

I am using vegan 5.1.1 and had the same exact problem - it ran but there were rendering problems all over the place. It wasn't playable. Was the free app of the day on Amazon so I can't complain all that much though...

Xoom has the exact same issue.

Same Here
I am running Vegan 5.1 and get the exact same thing...
Wish there was a way to fix it... It looks like a cool game.

Same issue here but I guess if we really wanted to play it we can get the hd specific one from the market but I don't want to pay lol

Paid version works great for me on Vegan 5.1.1.

The Android Amazon app store has it free today. It does not run correctly. When you say paid version, is that the version on the Android Market or Amazon app store? I cannot get it to work correctly.

The same happened for me. I think the free Amazon version isn't proper for the Tegra GPU. There's a separate HD version which, alas, is not free.

I think the version of backbreaker needed for tegra based tablets is "Backbreaker THD". I have it and it works nice. It does cost more than the regular backbreaker though.

Madden 12

I bought Madden 12 for my Flashback 7.2 Honeycomb Gtablet.
It installed properly but then it wanted to download an additional 300MB of content. At that point, it said it was not supported on my device.
I got a refund from the Apps Store.
I wanted madden 12 but didn't see it I guess because im running laurel mountain. Bummer I really wanted a football game
It should work on anything 2.1+ I got the same problem as above and currently have a trouble ticket out with EA Sports. If you go to the EA site, Madden 12 is not even listed as an android game, only iPad/iPhone/Touch... Very frustrating.
Cant find where I read that it does not work on Tegra devices. I also downloaded it to my Evo and ti works fine but a black screen on the Gtbalet. Oh Well.
hmm... seems there are two different versions.
One is "compatible" and runs up until the download is required, the other is not compatible for some reason. I'm not sure what the difference might be since they both read exactly the same.
I thought EA Sports turned out quality stuff. This smells and tastes like junk.
I managed to get the game installed. It is just a black screen when you run it. I tapped on the screen everywhere and the played a game but graphics were really messed up and it ran choppy. So its not for tegra 2. Too bad there wasn't an emulator that could run it on T2 devices

i too can't get it to run on my gtab but it does run on my photon 4g so tegra devices isn't an issue. think it just may be because it is not supported on the tab. perhaps a build prop change would work?
This works now! The updated version works very well with my gtab, especially when I bump the clock to 1.4Ghz. :-D

oh well..........
Well that just sucks. Someone should just ask him to post his source so that we can implement the damn things ourselves
/sarcasm
Seriously though, some developers just don't see the potential..
It's not about not seeing the potential. It's about the fact that it would lock his emulator out of running on older OS versions, thus killing off much of his market.
thn why does niot anyone build a version of mupen64plus AE with analog support? mupen is after the latest realease useable....

That's no excuse. Release 2 versions, one for xplay and one for non xplay. It's really not much extra work, and it would make so many people much happier. Plus, if other emulators release this feature, it would be one hell of a reason to choose the other one over this one. Not the mention this is the single handedly best phone for emulators such as this one.
Clearly, you haven't developed anything in your life.
Doesn't sony ericsson basically give you the code to paste into your application? You're right, I've never developed on android, but others on this forum make it sound like it's not a hard thing to do.

+1 Thats the main reason he will never add analogue support. But if he wouldnt of messed up with the GPL in the first place and got his developer account banned. This wouldnt be a problem. As the google market api now allows for multiple .apk's to be uploaded under one listing.

I repeat that I spoke directly to Yonghz (the creator of this emu) and he said that he will add support por the analogs.
Let's be patient, guys.
2.4.2 is out. Anyone tested?

[Q] Frustrating consolle emulation with the infuse

Hi guys... i'm having lots of problems when trying to play my favourite games from the past using different emulators with the Samsung Infuse 4g all the stuff i'm complaining about has been tried both under the original Infuse rom and with the adapted CM7 mod from LinuxBozo.
I know how the emulation stuff works... Although i've been using android for just one month up to now, i'm not a complete noob.
I already downloaded all of the apks and BIOSes needed for the platforms i'm trying to emulate.
At the moment i've only been able to play with SNESoid and GBCoid. Pretty boring though.
In all the cases mentioned i've been able to run the games using the same BIOSes and ROMs on my PC, although with different Emulators and HW ( just to point out -_-' )
I want to play GBA games but both Mojo GBA and GameBoid GBA emulators crash as i attempt loading any .gba rom i have.
Neither N64oid nor Mupen64 recognize any 7zip, zip or even .z64 rom downloaded from known rom sites (the same suggested in the different tuts i read).
Neodroid loads the roms, recognizes them, shows me the embedded thumbnails but fails to load any damn rom.
I bought the infuse specifically for the wide 5" screen and with the purpose of using it to play games during the 2 hours witch separate my school from my home.
I can accept the fact USB reading features weren't implemented on the Infuse, but not being able to play NeoGeo, GBA and N64 is giving me some buyer's remorse.
My Nokia was able to play GBA...that's not acceptable.
Hope to get some advice.
What versions of the emulators are you using? With Gameboid Lite and N64oid, I have no problems playing GBA games and .zip N64 roms on any ROM (stock/CM7/MIUI/GB/etc.). Do you have this issue on a clean flash (ie. GTG Ultimate Unbrick, don't install anything else, don't restore any data, etc.)?
The phone's rom isn't clean anymore but these problems keep happening since the beginning (These emulators were the first thing I installed right after google applications)
I changed version for the psx4droid and it's now working
I don't know what gameboid version i currently run...it's not shown...not even in the about tab. I just want to play gba but i can't find it on the market...looks the same for lots of other useful stuff like the ROM grabber...
The same for what concerns n64oid...i just couldn't find it and tried different apk found around the internet... tomorrow as the post office opens i'm going to charge my pre-paid card in order to give N64 Arcade a try... it's the only n64 emulator I can find on the market.
Btw... maybe i'll save those 0,99 bucks and avoid the risk of getting stuck in the same situation... may you tell me what n64oid and gameboid lite versions are you runnin?
Umm.. Infuse has a 4.5 inch screen.
N64oid 1.1.3, GameBoid Lite 2.4.7. I've never had an issue with emulators before like you're describing.

The touchpad perform really well like the early mc3
And yen I hope they fix the fps/lag in the actual realease
You seriously describe MC3's (any version, early or late) touchpad aiming as WELL? My god! Rainbow Six Shadow Vanguard's or Dead Trigger's touchpad aiming SHOULD be the standards!!!

Did you play 1.0/1.0.1? that was good aiming not the best but not as bad as it is now
Correct. MC3 first version from Google Play was the best. And leaked MC4 is nearly the same, maybe improved in sprint etc. And only some places lags on OC 1.8GHz and Chainfire3D - without that, it's brilliant.
Unfortunately I don't have oc and chainfire makes TDKR mess up
You can always unistall Chainfire plugin after playing, then Dark Knight will be working again. Or first complete TDKR .
I'm using MC3 ver 1.0.1
Is there a touch pad difference between 1.0.0 and 1.0.1?

In my experience no after that is when it goes "bad"
Am I the only one who thinks the gameplay video looks very laggy? And just to sound like a ****ing nut one last time, the later versions of MC3 have the best controls of any game on the Play IMO
so hows the performance of version 1.0.1 (google play) compared to the leaked version?
Short - it's better .

the best fps game for android
it plays way better when the slider is closed on the xplay, funny
It performs exceptionally on mine with gamepad/touchpad. Weird to hear u said that.

Im playing the 1.01 version and the game runs perfect without lag only If Im with wifi on

May i ask you to add a link please?? XD
heres the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spencorp.n64
It actually looks legit.
"We cannot tell you where to get games, but inside the app you'll find some help!"
I actually LOL-ed. Surely they don't condone piracy do they?
Anyway, please anyone with Xperia Play would you kindly share your experience with the emulator?
I am especially curious about people with stock ROM and NO overclock, just your standard Xperia Play (which I happen to have). Does it support hardware buttons? Thanks.
Its based on the sources from mupen64 ae+ and as this is licensed under the GPL the features of this emulator will also be in the next release of mupen. So unless the dev screwed up it will support buttons and touchpad. Buy this app if you'd like to support him.
Mupen sucks. Has always been slow.

You can still buy it legit from slideme.com
Link - http://m.slideme.org/application/n64oid
Ps. Just sore a comment on there and it appears there is still work being done on it (I hope not given up on)
Check it (pre - alpha v2.8) running killer instinct without to many glitches.

It can play Donkey Kong 64 too unlike the v2.7 the public has had for over a year without an update.
N64oid is still the best N64 emu to date in my opinion.

yes , n64oid is always the best , but unfortinatlly , i couldn't finish the paper mario ! so many glitch ...
nice to hear update after 2 years , do you have any news about 2.8 version ?
No one tested it yet?
If this emulator is based entirely on mupen, it is almost guaranteed to be slow...it doesn't even work properly on computers, I personally hate that emulator. Unless someone creates/editys an amazing dynarec recompiler like youngzh. There is no way i see this emulator as being able to move full speed on xperia play devices...
Also, on a side note, why does no one include sound compression in emulators like these. Sound compression goes a long way in increasing emulation speed. Just burns me every time the option isn't included in emulators. :/
