Need help identifying a no-name brand to a name brand

If possible I want to know if anyone can identify h t t p : / / w w w .chinavasion.com/product_info.php/pName/evolution-windows-mobile-smartphone-32-inch-touchscreen/ to another brand name phone.
Main reason is to check which if any ROM's i'm able to run on it.
I'm interested in running Manila based ROM's and normal WM6.5 WM7.0(future) ROM's with it.
It has
■Processor: Marvell PXA 310 624MHz + NXP 5209 (104MHz)
■Screen: 3.2 inch WQVGA/Touchlens
■Wi-fi: Yes (IEEE802.11/bg)
■Bluetooth: Yes (2.0)
■GPS: Yes (SiRF Star III GPS Chipset)
■Memory
- ROM: 256 MB (106MB Usable)
- RAM: 128 MB
- External memory: 2GB micro SD/TF card included (Supports up to 16GB TF Card
■Camera: 3.0MP + Macro Focus
■Video Camera
And currently runs WM6.1 Pro
CE OS 5.2.20758 (build 20758.1.4.1)
Any help in the right direction would be appreciated as I don't want to brick my smartphone.
you wont be able to run custom roms on it unless someone builds a kitchen for it.
Does anyone else have a similar device and flashed it allready?

Whether it is possible to load Android through haret on it?
I have in console after haret run:
HaRET boot
Shutting down hardware
Turning off MMV....
In preloader
PSR=600000df
wait ~20min -> no changes..
P.S. Is any custom ROMs for htc 5588 pure (clone)
Thanks..
ROMs are created to work on specific devices. I doubt if anybody is developing for clone models!

[Q] Drivers for un-branded Tablet

Hi there friends,
I recently bought a cheap tablet that I suppose came from China.
I cannot post a link to the device but if one were to google "trademe" ( a new zealand auction site ) and in the search box type " 459557872 " it would link to the sale page.
In the system info the only description is model; A710
Specs as follows;
-Main IC: High performance 1.3GHz Allwinner Tech BOXCHIP A10 Cortex-A8 CPU.
-Screen 7 inches 16:9, 800 * 480 ,Capactitive five point touch screen
-Memory DDR3 512M
-Flash 8G capacity
-Storage Extend 4GB-32GB SD/TF -Support
-WiFi 802.11b/g/n
-Front Camera 1.3M
-G-Sensor All gravity induction
-OS Android 2.3.4
- 7" high sensitive 5-point capacitive touch screen.
-Battery 3000mAH
Currently running Android 2.3.4, but i would like to put ICS on it somehow, but this is for another day.
I would like to root this device so i can use a proxy at my school but Windows cannot find a driver for it and therefore Superoneclick does nothing but stop responding.
There is no branding anywhere on the tablet or the box it came in.
Where would i find the necessary driver for this device?
Thanks in advance,
Corbin

Hello all,
I purchased a [ Dual core MTK6577 android 4.2.1 Gold Goophone hiphone 5S I5 1:1 1GB RAM 32GB ROM micro single sim MD0186 ]
I am having a few problems and wondering if you can help with the following points:
The phone is in English, but the apps are in Chinese
I am unable to change the phone screen appearance to Android screen.
On the web page I purchased it from, it says it is a i5S, but further in the description is says it's a i5. How do I tell the difference?
I have been told I need to root the phone, but I need to have the correct download according to the color of the phone to avoid 'blocking' it. Is this correct?

I have since been able to correct the problem of English icons, I have also found that it is a I5 not an I5S. However the phone will not send SMS/text messages (the SIM card has credit and works in another phone)...as anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

[Q] Android Tablet: Gpu/display resolution mismatch?

Hi to everyone: I'm a newbie on this forum and in general with android platform.
I've recently installed a few benchmarking apps on a Trekstor xiron 10.1 tablet ( target data : 4cores 1.6 Ghz, 2gb ram 1200x800 IPS))
I obtained contradictory device info:
antutu: cpu =rk3188; display 1200x800
quadrant: cpu=armv7 4cores rk30board; display=1280x752
cpu-z: cpu rk3066 rev. r3p0 4 cores; displa=1280x752
Because I don't want to disassemble the tablet to solve the mistery, I decided to test at least the display to see if I was able to argue some more infos. On the lagom dutch website I found a full set of pages to test LCD display.
I tested both the Treskstor tablet and an older Mediacom 101s2, a sort of rebranded Sanei N 10 (rk3066, 1gb ram, 1200x800 IPS).
Apart a reasonable difference in brightness, contrast and colour setting, I discoverd the trekstor tablet shows a moire' pattern in a dedicated test image (lagom.nl/lcd-test/clock_phase.php) and this is a symptom of the graphic adapter setting doesn't match the native display resolution. In the same tests the Mediacom display works correctly.
In the normal use, comparing the two displays, the mediacon one seems "crisper".
So my question is: is it possible such a kind of mismatch between the gpu resolution and the display resolution? Can I solve it in some way?
Thank you in advance
P.
