When I send a text message to chase the message is displayed before the one I sent. Which is no so bad but when I'm texting someone else it does the same thing if it's the same minute. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you fix it?
I'm using the default texting app.
I'm not rooted or have any type of launcher installed.

Long time lurker first time poster. So does anyone have this problem with GoSMS? I installed it because I hate the fact I cant select (Easily) multiple people with the default SMS app with HyperSensation ROM. So anyway I installed GoSMS...When I get an SMS it pops up on the home screen as the right sender. I open it and at the top it shows a completely different person. So when I reply I dont know who the message goes to. Hopefully it goes to the right person? Anyone else have this problem?
i have the same problem. the only way to reply to the correct person is thru stock sms. if you respond while on go sms, it will go to the wrong recipient
No matter what ROM I flash when I send a long text that converts to MMS it turns into random garbled characters. It appears to send fine on my end but whoever I send it to gets an unreadable text. This happens with every ROM and with any messaging app I try. I'll attach a screenshot of what it looks like. Does anyone have any advice?

I have tried multiple messaging apps such as Handcent and I get the same results. I'm aware that I can split the messages into multiple SMS as a workaround but I really just want it to convert long messages to MMS like it supposed to and not send them as garbage. Thanks.
Ummmm.....I could be wrong, but I don't believe that has ever worked??? Have had my ns4g for over a year and it has always had to split SMS......or at least I have always set it to split......

I'm using the stock messaging app on a stock gs3. Non stock apps don't have this issue.
But what happens is if I scroll to a conversation quickly and click on it, it will open that conversation for a fraction of a second then suddenly a different conversation will open instead. Can result in embarrassing text messages to the wrong person if I don't pay attention.
Anyone have this issue? what can i do??
Is anyone else having problems with HTC's stock texting app sending messages slowly? For example, when I type out a message and send it, the message remains in the text box for about 3 seconds before actually sending which can be annoying.
Also, I've notice that new messages take a while to load when you open the message app. I'm thinking about using a 3rd party texting app. It's becoming annoying.

This has started to occur for me quite recently as well. No way can all three of our accounts be connected in some way...
So first... In hangouts how do you send a SMS to someone without having to add them to your contact or without them having to text you first?
Second is that I'm using chomp SMS now and I would like to know about how you can get the time stamps on the time sent and time received. Like I would go in airplane mode and find that I got 3 text as soon as I turn in my phone. Only thing I don't like is that during the long press in the details it show the time sent and time received in the details for the sender's text. It use to tell me what was the time they sent it.
