What ROM are you running? - G Tablet General

What ROM are you running on your gTablet?
I just thought that we should have an unofficial official poll.
(yes, I searched before I posted this but couldn't find anything, so please forgive me if there is one and I missed it.)
Please let me know if I'm missing a popular choice so that I can add it to the list.

Culkulin should be on this listing.

I saw that, but there's no poll. This way we can see graphically which is used more.

VEGAn 5.1
I didn't bother with the supplement though. Everything is running great as-is. I'm using my desktop less & less.

Calkulin's with Clemsyn's #7

Good grief! - We need a better search engine to search these threads with. How on earth do you find something on page 218, post #2178 of a thread.
I guess xda-developers is a very popular forum!
P.S. forgive me for this pointless comment , but at least I didn't start another thread.

I started reading that thread at page 1 a few weeks ago and have kept track of it as it was relevant to the ROM I was using and talk about Dutty's future work. You will find when any new ROM is released the thread will grow in size, very often with the same questions asked over and over again...that P/W probably pops up at least 10 times on that thread.
If you are having issues searching within the forum then try using google instead and use XDA as a keyword along with your other search criteria...you may be pleasantly surprised what you find.

Nice tip. Thanks c.b.
Read, Read, and Read again. Most of the time you will find your answer. Also use Google Search. Work's GREAT !!

UC scripting

I'm just beginning to play with UC and was wondering if some people would post their UC scripts to give me an idea of what all is possible.
THANKS!

Did you look in the UC thread???? There are a few examples there and different things to try. That's why that thread was created for questions like this. Just a suggestion.

As suggested, you really need to post your questions/concerns where they belong, like here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366337
The referenced thread already has examples of how one can setup basic/advanced xml.

New Leaked rom (RUU_Ace_Gingerbread HTC_WWE_2.36.405.8_R_Radio_ 12.54.60.25_26.09.04

Have you guys hear there is a new Gingerbread leaked rom for DHD (build 187331) and apparently it's NOT a test rom?
Quote from http://pocketnow.com
"Today, thanks to a pocketnow tipster, we've learned that another Gingerbread build has leaked. This time it's reportedly much more complete, and could likely be the final release. Dubbed "build 187331" the ROM is the World-Wide English version 2.36.405.8 and includes an updated version of the phone's radio."

One note though: make the download publicly available. XDA rules state that all things shared here should be shared without registration outside of xda. Thanks!

DS release of the ROM CM7

The ROM is known BUG,
1, Bluetooth can not start
2, the video will not play after shooting
3, the light sensor so bad.
Starting from the GOAPK, I just forwarded the original link
http://bbs.goapk.com/thread-3181301-1-1.html
u cant spam u know?
For those that don't want to wade through the forum (which was a challenge to register for and obtain the download link) the rom can be found here: http://u.115.com/file/e62nbwdi
Downloading it now.
The Chinese forum says something like "DS world premiere of the source code is compiled based on Google's grand release some components of CM". What is this? A port of CM7? From which device ? Has anyone tried it yet? Also, does this have english?
PS - Sorry if my questions seem stupid...........

It's based on CM7 2.3.4
This ROM has many BUGS
Bluetooth - DISABLE (driver problem)
VIDEO CANT PLAY WHEN AFTER RECORD
LIGHT SENSOR DOESN'T WORK WELL
MANY apps CANT INSTALLED(ex: Root Explorer )
is there an english version?
I've been playing with this rom all afternoon. Firstly, its very fast (at least for me) and and in english. The bugs already mentioned are present of course, and GPS didn't seem to want to work for me. Looking good so far though!
I wouldn't bother with this, i was told by a cyanogen dev(on twitter) that cm7 is being developed officially for the DS.

I'm not positive about this, but maybe a general forum post linking the work, or recommending the work would be in order, but posting in development not sonsure about, especially if you didn't get permissions.

I know Devon credited you for the time you spent, I was just letting you know that you should speak with him
This ROM is the best ROM hands down, and everyone should have the chance to flash it.. I'm just saying maybe putting it in the general section would be best.. But I'll leave that to you guys to figure out, but historically he only supports the devices he's on, as its his baby and he enjoys the learning part of things. So idk..
Yeah I agree. I don't have an issue as long as things are linked back to our respective threads and download links. Which seems to be already done.
But make sure Dwith is cool with it. And don't ask for donations based the stuff provided in this thread. Otherwise you're cool bro.
