I hate to rain on someone's parade but YEAH, it sucks!

Are you guys INSANE??
SpeedX3D freakin ROCKS!!
Although I will say the Android version of CRYSIS (in the market) pretty much owns every other game right now.

It is obvious that we all have different tastes in games. For instance I don't like asteroids-type games (with inexplicably worse graphics). Hex defender looks pretty cool...I am a fan of tower defense games.

I think whoever didnt care for the speedx 3d game isnt in the right state of mind. It took up most my morning so far.

It reminds me of n2o for the original Playstation.

sadly, I was searching for a more eye-candy-like helicopter game for half an year now, but it seems like there IS none.
I also tried to install flash-players on my hd2 to play just some .swf-helicopter-games, but that doesnt work very good (game starts, but if you tap on the screen, nothing happens / the heli just crashes on the ground).
Why would you want that when we can play ps1 games?
Ive seen a few about, but not one worked well on HD2
I'd love this too. One of my favourite PDA games is from the old Palm days (I'm talking Pilot Professional, Palm 3 here). The game was called SFCave, and was as simple as a game could get. Google it, and you'll still find it around. No eye candy, just a randomly generated scrolling cave, press a button to go up, and release it to go down. Simple, but as addictive as hell.
I've wanted a WM version of that for so long now...

every game is running at 50 fps except for tekken.
only tekken 3 that looks slow. also the touch-pad is still unplayable for fighting games because you can't really do combos with it.
time crisis looks like fun thou.

tekken is currently bouncing around between 40 and 45 fps.
Also... you can do combos in fighting games... it was just difficult to film that whilst playing properly... street fighter alpha 3 needs concentration at the best of times =)

As for my device:
stock 1.66 rom
2.08.50.08_2 radio
LOADS of mods... too many to go into detail but im planning to upload more vids showcasing the HD2 in general so watch this space... (hopefully they will look good and be worth uploading hehe)
look forward to the vids matey

The video which is in your first post…
It's slow. Maybe quicker than the previous version, but still slow.
And the keypad is still not multitouchable.
I didn't play Tekken 3 a lot, but I remember it was quicker than that 45-50fps or not.

I dont know which planet you come from but it must be one where the laws of space and time as we know it dont exist.
Every game in that vid is 50 frames per second (standard for most games) except for tekken which is running slightly slow at 40-45 fps, but still perfectly playable.
The keypads are clearly multi-touch also! How else do you pull off fireballs, dragon, punches and whirlwind kicks in street fighter if you dont have multi touch?
Seriously... wtf are you on?!?!?!

Sorry mate, but you must have something wrong with your internet connection, or your watching a different video or something.
Not one of those games could be called slow, and it's clearly multi-touch.
I normally leave room for opinion, but in this case you're just plain wrong.
The problem I have is after installing fpsece, how do I install the games and get them working. I've tried a couple of times but all unsuccessful. Could any of you shed some light on this please???

I had problems myself, but resolved it by ripping the discs at a lower speed. It seems the old PSX discs are a bit crap, and don't like being read at high speeds.
If you're downloading disc images then forget it. You need to spend the £2 or £3 per game on eBay. It's well worth it.

Not quite true mate. There are a few sites on the net that let you download psx images that will work perfectly fine with fpsece. A quite popular one has its images in ecm format though so you need to revert this format back to bin or iso using the ecm tools available.
Of course... i do not condone pirating software and must just say here that all my games have been ripped from my original disks.

ATTN: Angry Bird Fans

Dunno if its been posted yet but there is an 'Angry Birds Seasons' on the market now.
Dunno the specs, just downloaded it and made sure it opened. There are supposed to be some Halloween and Christmas Themes in there. It looks like you can only play one level a day, like a Christmas calendar countdown.
Oh well, check it out for yourself.
REMEMBER, Mount the SD before you download it from the market!
Enjoy!

WOW... that first level is hard. I'm going to have to put on my "beating angry birds" thinking cap. LOL
first level is pretty hard, the 2nd though i did today was pretty easy didnt take me nearly as long as level 1.
only issue is it seems to have replaced my original version of angry birds. i think.

look in the development section. There is a patch you can apply or you can flash to TnT-lite 2.2.0 that has the patch incorporated as well as a LOT of other nice touches (market, gmail, stripped out a lot of the stock TapnTap stuff, etc..).
Just an fyi for all the stock users out there Angry birds work great on the TnT factory updated rom version 1.0.1-3053.I Downloaded it last night through the Handango market with no issues. I have it on my iPhone but man is it so much more addicting on a 10"

It could def use some improvements....i hope they patch the game cause it has SUCH a cool premise, but sometimes the action feels slow and boring
deyymmm, i've been downloading the data file for about 24 hrs++ but still the progress bar is not moving.. tsk tsk.

I can't run it on GSF...
Thanks.

A brilliant game, you'll spend hours with this if you get into it. It's just amazing fun. If it feels slow or nothing is happening, then you're not playing it right. Ram other cars off the road, grab powerups, jump etc to build your score!
Yea this game is awesome.
One of the most fun games imo.
No problems for me. Unrooted 2.3.3 with latest firmware.

It a very good game, nice mechanics , pretty graphics & very easy to play but it is a little short on levels (finished the game in a couple of hours).
Probably try to master all of the levels when I get time off Minecraft
I have sometimes one or two crash too. Even if i reboot my phone, sometimes it crash and return on my home screen. I'm rooted, v 2.3.2.

You got 4* on all levels in a couple of hours? I don't believe it haha
Way too short.... not enough levels.... needs a survival mode.
I hope they offer an update with more levels.
I don't like how you have to play the level a few times to know where to go to get more stars.

What are your games in your Shield Tablet?

I'm trying to both enjoy NST while trying to push its limits. So I thought of using various games/modded games for that. I'm not talking about gamestreaming, just playing games installed on the device.
So far these are my lists:
1. PPSSPP - Tekken 5/6, Gundam Next, Guilty Gear XX, BlazBlue, GTA SA
2. Arcade Emulator - Last Blade
3. Counter Strike 1.6 (gamecontroller mapped)
4. Playstore - Beach Buggy
I heard there is a port for StarCraft in android but it's a modded version and I don't get the method for installing.
Anyone has interesting games that push the limits of this device? Thanks in advance!
