Well, I was at school getting annoyed with my phone trying to download app updates automatically while I was trying to look something up with low service. Due to this I decided it would be fine to just disable Download Manager and re-enable it after school when I got home. Well, when I went to go get on gapps for a new game, it wouldn't run. Remembered that I disabled my Download manager and went to re-enable it when I noticed it was no longer in my apps list on my phone! It will show up in Titanium Backup and Gemini App Manager but not in my built in app manager! This means I can't re-enable my Download Manager and gapps won't open anymore :crying:. So I was just wondering if there was any other way to re-enable Download Manager on my phone? Thanks for the help!
I'm on a Stock ICS [root] VZW Motorola Droid Razr XT912
By gapps you mean play store? I would just flash the ROM again because for me this is something I do regularly anyway.
Have you tried pushing the download manager file to your phone?
I have an old Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I recently installed CyanogenMod since Samsung no longer supports this tablet. This ROM is rooted and when I try to run The Direct TV Genie Go app it fails saying it won't run on a rooted device. Is there any way to get this to work? I have an app called Hide My Root which works for Flixster but doesn't help for Genie Go. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello everyone,
I just installed CM12.1 (the latest snapshot available for Samsung Galaxy S5) and I'm unable to use the Gear Manager. I tried installing it from the Play Store as well as some linked APK's, but every time I launch it I get this error:
The operating system on your phone has been modified in an unauthorised way, and is not compatible with the Samsung Gear app. Check your operating system and try again.
This is a really ****ty error message - what in my OS exactly am I supposed to check
Anyway, after some googling I've been unable to find a solution. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Similar issue so < bump >
I know it isn't simply that I have rooted the phone, because when I go back to stock I root the stock lollipop and the Gear Manager still works, so it must be something in Knox or something Samsung specific that is missing from the CM ROMs
any advice would be appreciated
Hello Xda,
I have problem with my samsung billing app, I can not make any purchase from the galaxy apps store, the warning page keeps appear showing: "Samsung billing is required to complete this purchase. Go to settings and turn on samsung billing.". And when I push the "go to settings" button, it keep rejected to open the samsung billing app. I have download and install the samsung billing apk from sammobile but the problem still occur. I try to locate the samsung billing built in apk in the system folder, when I try to run it from the system folder it show warning page that the package is corrupt.
Any help will be appreciate. Thank you xda.
Phone info:
- Model: SM-G930FD
- Android ver: 7.0
- Baseband ver: G930FXXU2DRA9
- Not Rooted.
Try installing another version

Might need to enable secure startup in lockscreen & security then reboot the phone if you get a package conflict error
Install the APK again after that

Thank you for the attention. Already do as instructed but still cannot locate the samsung billing app, even in disabled apps and system app section too.
Still cannot purchase any app from the galaxy apps store.
Not able to 'Enable' Samsung Billing.
My Device: Samsung Note 9 (SM-N960F/DS) on Android 9 One UI
Baseband: N960FXXU2CRLT
Firstly, I'm not able to locate 'Samsung Billing' app (ver 5.0.18.0) anywhere on my phone.
When I want to purchase something on the Galaxy Store, it takes me to the 'App Info' section of Samsung Billing app and asks me to 'enable' the app. However, nothing happens when I touch on 'Enable' (though when I touch the Force Stop' button next to it, it works).
I've tried clearing cache, uninstalling & reinstalling updates, restarting phone, etc. but no use (even after soft reset).
Also, and annoyingly, the only way I can get to Samsung Billing (that too only 'app info' section) is only by trying to purchase something in the Galaxy Store, otherwise this app is untraceable.
Any fixes ??
