Phone Call recording - Samsung Mesmerize

Hey was wondering if there is a app that I can use that will let me record all my calls incoming and outgoing. I am need of something asap. I could do this with my old dumbphone so I would hope that I can do it with my mesmerize.

Ya. Its called call recorder there is a free version and a paid version ($7.95) in the market. But check your laws first because it is illegal to record calls without first telling the other party you are recording the call in many states.

Call Trunk has an android app for recording outgoing phone calls. Simple and easy, cloud-based, keeps the call saved and available forever, free for the first 25 minutes. Contact me at [email protected] for more information.

Shameless self promotion.

[REQUEST] Call Recorder

Is there is no call recorder for Android 2.1?
In Total Recall there's the message that it doesn't work on 2.1 sadly.
Is there no way to get it work on our Nexus?
Especially on a rooted one I thought this might work.
Where does is depend on?
Hope someone can help
Do you have the Full version of that app?
Yes I have, but they write in the description that it doens't work on 2.1
And Ultimate Voice Recorder didn't work, too.
you're right Ultimate voice doesnt work....hhmmm
This recorder works and its free.
Get a hold of the developer, seems like he needs to work on his app more
Yes but this is a voice recorder and not a call recorder
Voice recording works, but no call recording that's the problem.
i'm looking for such an app too.
Looking for a call recorder too, no progress so far.
"Total Recall" Looks good, but that's not compatible with Android 2.1
Yea I'd like a call recorder too, and not a voice recorder.
For those that don't know,
Voice recorder = only records your voice
Call recorder = records BOTH sides of the conversation.
There is apparently a hardware issue that prevents true call stream access by apps on (at least) the first generation android phones. They added an api to choose the call stream as the recording source in 1.5 but it wouldn't work properly on the hardware we had available then. There are bug reports on google's page code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2117. I don't know if anyone has put serious effort into working with this api on the n1 or if it is even possible hardware wise, it probably wouldn't be a bad issue to bring up in the dev forum.
I had made this thread in dev forum but it was first closed and then moved here and reopended, because it hasn't to do anything with development they told me.
So we hope somebody reads here and maybe can help
I don't think they allow app requests per-se in the dev forum but a question about the function of those apis might garner some response. Maybe cyanogen or one of the other devs who works with the kernel source would have some idea if there are issues with the api not being fully implemented or driver support.
How bout Voice?
phone recorder works well, but there's no on/off toggle that I can see, so when you've installed it records every call.
That´s really too bad, I miss a call recorder ..had that on my last device and this saved me some troubles
Use Google Voice. Record while in your calls with just the push of a button. Simple and easy.
vRecorder has worked fine for me

I just set it up...how/where is the feature?
Edit:
Calls: Recording phone calls
To record your call, simply press 4. You can do it when you first accept a call, or any time after it's started. To stop the recording, press 4 again or hang up.
Your recordings are saved online and you can access them just like you do with voicemail.
Note: at this time you can only record calls you receive on your Google Voice number. You can't record calls you initiate using our Click2Call from our website or the Return Call feature from your voicemail.
There are different laws that apply to call recording, so check your current state and Federal laws before using this feature. To assist in the compliance of these laws, we provide an automated verbal announcement when call recording has been initiated and when it has been stopped.

Recording a call with out notifying the other party is HIGHLY illegal FYI. I believe when you record with Google Voice it notifies both parties that the call is being recorded. Just a heads up! >;]
That being said, I always wanted a telemarketer to say "this call will be recorded for quality and assurance purposes" to which I reply: "yes, and I too shall record this call for humorous potential YouTube purposes, is that ok?"
hahaha

Although, i might start calling them.......and if you say both parties are informed, i can survey them LMAO

Incoming & Outgoing call recording on CM7

Google Voice currently offers incoming recordings but what about outgoing calls?
So I did some searching and it turns out android as well as iOS blocks this feature from being accessed and all apps use tricks and hacks to make is work halfway.
However, CyonagenMod project should have no trouble accessing this feature since the entire OS is opened sourced. There hasn't been anything released or merged that would indicate anyone working on such a feature. So I ask your opinion and thoughts. Is this something you would like to see implemented? Does it make sense to allow people to record your conversation even if there was a consent message before starting the recording? After all, if you really needed to record a conversation, even if illegal, all Android and iOS phones have a headphones line out.
what do u mean by incoming recordings ?
Incoming meaning that when you get a call from someone you can press 4 (I think) and record a call. If you place the call, this option is not available.
Trojan for call recording
maybe this trojan does what we want?

That would be interesting. Anyone has the apk?

App to record voice calls?

Is there an App that you can use to record phone calls? If so whats the best one? Im looking for something where I can save a few voicemail messages I have.
Google Voice allows you to record conversations and as an aftereffect it will record voicemails if you choose. Just have to hit the keypad 4 to start and again to stop. It does say "now recording call" so both parties can hear it.
There's apps out there that do an excellent job, but find out first what the privacy laws in your state say regarding the recording of phone calls. Wouldn't want to get you in trouble.
And some phones will not record the other party, you have to use speakerphone to get their voice on the recording. You may want to check if two-way call recording is supported on your phone. I know - at least for the Evo - that the only workaround is to flash a kernel that has it enabled.

I use "record my call": nice app (and +1' the "beware of legal issues"!).
Tried: doesn't work on DesireHD root/CoreDroid 9.2. Only from speaker.
Anyone, can you point me to an App that can do 2 way phone call recording for my device (not from the speaker)? Please?

[Q] Call Recording

As someone who is on the road a fair amount, call recording was a godsend for going back to make notes. Same for my wife who manages a team of people and her phone calls usually involve details.
Our state allows call recording so long as one of the parties is aware that the call is being recorded. So, we've had a need and we meet the legalities.
Love this droid Charge except that I've yet to find a call recording app. My phone is rooted (so I could do full backups and run LBE Security).
What options do we have on the Droid Charge for call recording?
Thanks
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
@lufc: Fair call.. My fault - sorry.
I would use Google Voice. It allows for in-conversation call recording (Press "4" and GV will announce it is now recording). It's free to setup and will of course allow your GV number to forward and ring simultaneously on your cell as well as office and/or home phone.
I use it every day.
