This is a problem I am dealing for they day I purchse the Phone.
This apply for some of my contatcs
When i receive a SMS and hit reply, i write my message and the hit send. I am getting straight away the error: message was not sent. try again?
Then I go and start a New Message not replying to that to the same contact and the message sents fine.
Do you know what i can do?
this happens to me every now and then. Sometimes when the phones doing a lot of stuff or the network messes up.
Also i've noticed that the majority of the time when that error appears, the message is actually sent, because i'll press the try again and it'll resend the message, then i'll get a message back from the recipient saying they've recieved the message more than once.
My situation is quite different. When i press resend I get the same message and the receiptent does not get anything.
Also this problem is for some of my contacts and only for some of them.
I have been using a myTouch Slide since June. It worked well until last week when, mid-call, it would drop service and data connection randomly, and as if I were dropped into a cave. It would come back, but the problem kept recurring, sometimes with the Force Close message of "com.Android.phone must force close." That's not even the problem.
I did a master reset, which seems to have corrected the problem, but ever since it has been sending reports and status messages to the primary account holders phone after I send an MMS to anyone. Not just a report that I have sent an mms, but also a report on the status of EVERY sms I have sent or received. It doesn't matter who I send an mms to, but that is the trigger that inundates his in-box with reports on my sms statuses. It doesn't happen when I receive an mms, only when I send.
It is driving us crazy. He has checked all of his setting and re-format the phone today, but it has not solved the issue.
Has anyone heard of such a thing, and does anyone have any suggestions for a resolution?

Is anyone else having problems with Exchange email sync? I am having several emails come down with correct headers but mismatched messages. It only happens on some messages, unfortunately I have not figured out a pattern to it yet.
Although I've not encountered your issues, I've encountered a few emails that attachments won't show up.
In case anyone else had the same issue; deleting and recreating my Exchange account appears to have fixed the problems I saw.
Does anyone have an issue with text messages not being sent? Oftentimes I will send a message and then immediately get a message that it was not sent. It will try 3-4 more times. I can "solve" this by opening up the browser which activates the data connection, and then the message is sent no problem.
It's been a bit annoying so just wondering if anyone else has seen this. I actually had this issue with my G2 as well so maybe I need a new SIM?
I also have this issue, though sometimes it seems related to a particular text, because if I send another one, with different writing, it will frequently send and then allow the other to send as well.

How many bars are you showing?
The only time mine did not send was when there was no signal(duh?)
The rest of the time it's fine and quick.
Maybe it's time for a new sim.
How old is yours?

I continue to get an error message about messages not sent. It started at 3, then went to 5, and is now at 20. I can't seem to get rid of the error message. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
