Yes that Works even when your phone is un-rooted...For the third party app u may need to root your phone....

mine is a copy of one x with mtk 6577 the model is same( e1911_v77_jbaol_g20 )
I have atrix 2 ATT and I did unlock it by unlock code.So now I want to relock it.it's only used by ATT simcard.is this possible ?

Lol. I tested both methods using windows and puppy. Manual method is a lot easier. I was impressed. Those guys done an awesome job. Can't wait to watch Exad help with the flood of help questions that is going to start coming in.

Also if your phone is running D80010o firmware, flash back to stock D80010d firmware before rooting. Otherwise you might have issues when flashing certain roms.
