I'm from Malaysia and i know its not gonna be available in my region yet but i've tried using Market Enabler and Market Access but i still got the warning saying its not available in my region yet. i've changed it to US, NL, DE but no go. any tips?

I was wondering if the paid apps in the android market work in cyprus? i am currently living in the uk for studies but i usually go to cyprus over the summer anyone else from cyprus that knows if you can buy paid apps? or if there is a work around?
Yep, it is.
It is a problem when you use a SIM card from Cyprus. And even for some free apps, like SE File Explorer and Skype, you cannot download them. So far I have not found a workaround.
I live in Cyprus ... marketaccess works on my HTC hero and Flytouch 2 tablets to accomplish this ...
Device must be rooted of course.

Anyone know if the Android market place accessed from a Xoom wifi version is region free or locked? And whether the marketplace apps that are not built for tablets will show or not?
Reason i ask is I'm in Hong Kong and got a wifi version here but I want to install etrade app, but it doesn't list on the market app, however it lists on the market website.
When I try to checkout I can send it to my phone but not my tablet, saying it's incompatible.
If the market is region locked I wonder whether market enabler would work since the wifi version doesn't have sims.
Have any of these new 99 countries that "have access" to paid apps actually been able to access it yet?

I'm in Greece and i have access to paid apps since the day that google released the statement about it!
Try to clear cache/data of the market app or uninstall the updates and i think it'll be done!
Slovakia, partial access. I can see and buy apps but lot of them are still missing from market (XDA Premium , Extended Controls, Rom Manager Premium etc...)
Thailand now has paid apps from Android market.

why don't you ask for free apps, most free apps is really good. like dolphin browser. It's a browser.
Not all paid apps can be seen here in Romania. I wrote to the devs of Fruit Ninja and after a few days it appeared and could buy it.
The same in Costa Rica, still waiting
It has been more than 10 days since Google announced paid apps availability and still no trace of them here in Croatia
hey guys, as title says, wont update. i got my sensation from expansys-usa but not sure it is a us model as i had to install morelocale2 app for us english. i live in the Bahamas and as you know the phone comes with google maps installed but if i go to the market it says this item cannot be installed in your device's country. but i can use the app thats there and it works fine. what is the issue ?
Same problem here in Kenya - if you get an old Android with an ancient version of Maps you can't upgrade because of device country! At least the version on the Sensation is not too old!
Only way out is when we finally get root then we can use Market Enabler or Market Access to spoof another country and download. That's what I used to do with my Nexus One.
With root you can even use - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007132 that modified maps.apk and get navigation also!

Just noted my first Maps update via appbrain and of course I can not find it in the market due to regional restrictions. What a joke. Gimme root + Market Access / Enabler please sooooooon HTC or devs
Hello i am from Montenegro and i living in romania last year. I have problem with applications from play store. I can see only applications from my country Montenegro. I can not instal to much application. Now, a am living in Romania and in this country i should to see all application. I do clear data in play store, play services but nothing happened. Google thinks that i living in Montenegro but i living in Romania 9 months.
Can you help me? Thanks.
