Hello to all. I found an sd card speed fix that increases sdcard reading speed!!!
Credits go to brainmaster, for making the script!
How to make it work on galaxy 3!
At first it needs root & busybox...
Download the script, choose the cache size you want between 1024, 2048, 3072, 4096 kb! (Recommended size: 2048kb)
Extract the .zip file you downloaded and put the 77sdcardspeedfix in your sdcard.
Run root explorer and move the file in /system/etc/init.d/ (If there is no init.d folder, create one!). You can also adb push 77sdcardspeedfix /system/etc/init.d/
Run a Terminal Emulator/Adb and type the commands:
adb shell (if you are using Terminal Emulator, skip this command)
su
chmod 777 /system/etc/init.d/77sdcardspeedfix
chown 0.0 /system/etc/init.d/77sdcardspeedfix
reboot
After that the phone will reboot. You will see that your sdcard reading speed has increased!
I did it in my 8gb class2 sdcard and the reading speed increased from 2mb/s to 3.7mb/s.
ranadip.bswas tried it too. You can see the results!

Not the whole folder... just push the "77sdcardspeedfix" file.
Do you think it will work on x10a? I know it isnt for my device but is there any risks you think?

oh.. did another try increased in writing speed 2.6 to 2.7 no changes in reading speed..
nothing happend when installed.
Before
W:1.3
R:2.3
After
W:2.4
R:2.4
Before:
W: 4,7
R: 4,9
After:
W: 5,4
R: 18,0
So the script is working like a charm. But the question for me now is why the writing speed is so low in general (i'm using a brand new class 10 card).
Doesn't the device allow faster writing?

Hm You should have gotten Writing/Reading speed ~10mb/s with a class 10 sdcard! Maybe your sdcard is a fake class 10.... Not sure!

Hmm, hard to say. When I was asking you few day ago if class 4 (kingston from original store) is OK, my r/w speed was around 4.3/4.8 Mb/sec.
After instaling your rom 3.3 was around 2.3/4.5 (with almos empty card) now after sd fix in my case is around 2.5/10.1
Maybe it is connected with data2SD, maybe not (but I'm not complaining )

I don't think so. Benchmark with card reader is about 15 mb/s writing speed. -_- Any ideas?

Angry Birds has already proved itself as a great game for iPhone and iPod Touch, therefore it is unsurprising to see a beta version recently arrive at the Android Market, but is it as good?
Angry Bird Lite for Android is currently in beta. I experienced occasional crashes while launching the game. However, in general the game worked well. There were no unexpected frame rate drops or other hitches during the gameplay.
Personally I love talking tom more
It works very well for me on my Galaxy S. It once or twice didn't close cleanly, though, and I had to pull the battery.
Have tried to get it a few times but it won't install!
Downloads fine from the market but gives an error number (8) when I try and install :-(
Anyone have the .apk file they can upload?

Forgot to say I'm using Mattc'c 1.8 build on my HD2 (Leo) running off my SD card so can't unmount it as it needs sd card fro Android to run
If I could ever get it to install correctly (from market or sideload) maybe I'd be able to tell you lol. Nexus1, CM6 nightly (yesterdays and well, all previous for me).
hard not to like this game its really fun and u always want to beat your own high scores.

I tried unmounting the sd card and then I proccedded to download. The download is stuck on "starting download"...
Am I suppose to unmount and then mount it again before I try the download?
I find that it is boring, with only a few tries at hitting your target that it gets annoying.

EDIT: Sorry thought I was replying to the other dude.
You should be able to go into settings and unmount SD card. This will not really unmount your SD card obviously since you are running android off the actual SD card.
I use the same setup as you, this is what I did and it worked just fine.
Try canceling the download and make sure to 'unmount' SD card and try again. Should install fine.

Anyway, in settings, in android, go into SD card and phone storage and click 'unmount' SD card.

move "tmp" folder to root in phone.
Run kiftweak.sh script by terminal - it showed 2 errors which said something about missing location.

Anyway, after that my Linpack score grew from ~8 to ~8.5.
Quadrant score stayed unchanged at ~530, but graphic tests

Only problem for me is that I am not good with programming and codes
so there is big possibility that I screw something up
If someone could check this out would be cool

now that we have CWM will this work properly on SG3?
Could anyone please tell me which sense based ics rom works with a class 4 sdcard without random reboots??!
Any help would be appreciated.
Sent from my HTC Explorer using xda premium
Probably none, class 4 is slow card, for sense 4 to work on explorer, part of the rom is installed on your sd ext partition, and when there is a lack of speed in sd ext.......... phone hangs and reboots. Creator of Tiger sense claimed that he tryed with class 4 card and there was pretty much, no reboots, you can give it a try, I don't think he fixed it but.......... you never now, maybe he did some magic.
Also DanceOff ( dev behind JaggyDzire) sayed that his rom don't have random reboots, but he didn't specify on what kind of card he made the testing(or at least I didn't see).
If I was in this dilemma, JaggyDzire it is!

Class 4 SD card is a slow SD card but I think the make of the SD card is also a factor in these " Random " reboots.
I personally used Class 4 and never faced random reboots ( tried builds 1 , 2 , 4 and 6 till date ).
An amazing fact .. Derefas himself has a class 4 SD card ... want proof ?

So , what as far as " working " is concerned. Yes they do work, and with no random reboots for me. I use a sandisk 8 gigs Ulra Class 4.
Also one more point I would like to mention is that flashing too many sense ROMs reduces sd - card life drastically. I mean even memory scripts do. But System apps do kill it as compared to user apps.
So , I would suggest keep a spare sd-card handy.
Cheers.
( PS: If your problem is solved please report the post to a mod and tell him to close the thread. Such thread generally attract a lot of other Sense 4.0a related topics not related to the question and mostly of which answers are already present in the q and a section , help keep xda clean )

I tried before swapping memory but it causes a lot of error such as force close app after partitioning.Might not be quite safe though :\

you will get fc's if you move your apps to sd
but as ace plus has lot of memory for apps associated already we don't need to move apps to sd

Thanks for this thread. I am currently using inspiration rom v17.3 right now. Can i use flashable stock?
Is there any risk or disadvantage of swapping memory?

data is not lost
the data which was previously in internal memory showed in external
you have to copy data of the apps which saves data in internal storage
move folder to same location as that was previously
problem solved
