Don't working on Nocturnals GRI40 base. Previously FRG83G worked fine.

Some try it on superAsom Tom?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App

I use blink for a long time on my Nexus one. Works great, 12 colors are awesome, but if it can work for email notification, that would be great. Looking for any update

Now we want to update Blink to a new version. Is there any idea? That would be very appreciate
I use blink and it's great. I'd love it to be able to turn off the charging light on Xperia X10
Calendar notifications.
Email notifications.
Gmail notifications.
LED blinks in sequence - i.e. if your SMS LED is blue and your email LED is green and your calendar LED is red, and you have one of each alert, it should blink blue, green, red.
All of these should be able to be turned on and off, of course.
I would pay good money for a single app that would universally and reliably allow me to change all of my notification LEDs. I know a lot of people are cheap and won't consider an app over $1.99 but I think a solid tool that would allow me to know every kind of notification just by glancing at my phone is worth $5 no problem.
Thanks for all your comments. we will gather all the requirments into consideration and add to the next new version update.
Add vibration settings for sms, gmail, phone call, whatever. That way Blink will be comparable to BerryBuzz for those of us who came from a Blackberry.

If you could override the charging light on the X10 (ie: cause notifications to display even when charging, but otherwise leave the charging light as normal), it would be a huge boon to resolving one of my biggest niggles about the phone.

New Warm 2.2 RLS5 Theme *Under Construction*

Alright... So I'm 100% new to themeing... Never touched XML files before (didn't touch them here either lol) and I was really just looking to change some things that I didn't like about RLS5 and take some things that I liked from Warm Z RLS1 and kinda combine them. First I wanna thank Myn of course, I love both ROMS, and also wanna thank dmoses1969's as i used portions of his great theme "Black & Bold" for Warm Z. I used Ninjamorph for everything, and some of these custom icons I made were a pain! Especially the battery icon (combination of over 130 icons i think)! Let me know what you guys think. And your help/suggestions are appreciated. Also I would love to know where to go from here to make this flashable or whatever (still clueless on this one lol).
Notification Icons I have completed so far include: Music player, email, text message, text message error, voicemail, missed call, call on speaker phone, ringer silent, ringer vibrate, cellular signal, all 3g, all 4g, alarm clock, wifi (disconnected through max reception), all battery icons, bluetooth disconnected, bluetooth connected, gmail, file/app download arrow (animated), file/app upload arrow (animated), app update notification, sync (animated), USB connected, in-call muted, call connected, and wifi tether. Also have the icons in the power controls in the notification drop down (as seen below).
NOTE: I still cannot find where the icon is located for A. the wifi tether app icon that is @ top notification area (for RLS5), B. the USB icon also located @ top notification area, C. the icon that pops up when you have apps that have updates available (also in top notification area) D. icon in notification area showing you that a download is complete and finally E. i would love to know where the app drawer icons are located so I can start working on all of those. Here is what I have so far! MINTBERRRRRY CRUNCCCHHHHH! LOL.

Theme looks nice!
Any idea when a red theme like this or rls5 will be coming?
I could change the PNG files so the highlights and accents are all red instead of blue and whatnot... would that work?

[APP][4.3+] Frozen LED - Manage your notification LED colors by app or by contact

Manage your LED notification light fast and easily. No more trying to guess which app or which person demands your attention with random colors.
Features:
Select color by app or by text. Your favorite contacts can have their own color no matter which app they use to contact you.
Handle missed called.
Fine tune blinking speed for each notification.
Lightweight, almost no memory and battery footprint.
This app makes use of Android's 4.3 Notification Listener and thus it must be enabled under Device Settings > Security > Notification Access. It cannot access the internet so your personal data is absolutely safe.
I did all the testing on a Nexus 4 but it should work on any device with a LED. Contact me if something goes wrong on another device.
Thanks for giving it a look!
Totally cool

Thanks! Feel free to send me any suggestions you might have.
Looks promising. Thanks. Can you assign different colors to different Gmail accounts?

I am using the notification toast text to determinate contact names (the text that briefly appears across your status bar when a notification is posted). I never tried multiple gmail accounts, if each account appears in the toast text you can use the 'Text & Contacts' feature to have different colors.
Otherwise it needs special treatment (with extra permissions), I could add this if there is demand.
I tried it on a Nexus 4 (no custom rom, no nothing. I have no apps that interfere with the notification LED), and it's not working correctly. I set Gmail to red and the led still lights up white.

I have fixed that, expect an update this weekend!
Any news on fixing issues surrounding Nexus 4 stock roms? I really want to use this app but it's just not working for me at the moment. Test notifs work fine, but when it actually comes down to real notifs they just don't work.

LED notifications on Galaxy J7 2016

A friend of mine has a brand new Samsung Galaxy J7. When they were using the Nokia N9:
- whenever a call was missed or a text arrived, a LED diode blinked
- there was a low-power screen on the AMOLED display, showing the information about the missed calls, just like on the photo below

Is it possible to get some standby notifications on the J7? I can't find any LED notifications options in the device settings.

try download Light Manager Pro
after installed go to Advanced settings>show horloge and show date
and enjoy
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.istudio.flashnotification
That doesnt work. The closest thing you will get is the camera to flash.. but thats only the rear camera so if youre device is laying down you will still miss notifications cause you cant see the light flashing.. its probably not good on the battery either. There just isnt any standard led notification lights... i guess you got to check manually i mean if youre already looking at youre phone to check for a blinking light you may as well just click the home or power button to see the notifications on youre lock screen..
There's an app on this J7 forum that uses the front flash for notifications
Front Flash Notification & Torch
Try it out.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.megawave.flashalerts
This one makes youre front and back cameras flash but its only for a couple seconds so if youre not in the dark or in the same room as the phone you wont see it... then say if you was out of the room and it went off youd miss it and never know there was a notification until the next time one came in while you was right there or when youd actually turn youre screen back on.. its a hit n miss on notifications cause theres no real led light and have to use the cameras which flashes only last a couple seconds.
Hej, jakim cudem masz w N9 skonfigurowanego Twittera??? / How do You connect native Harmattan Twitter app???
try noled app
you can use noled app for notifications..i can say its better than notification led..when you receive mail sms or missed call(..whatsapp message, and whatever you want) it appears on black screen and customizable..

[APP][2.2+] Shake Flashlight App! ?? (no root)

Shake Flashlight App! lets you configure shake for torch, background mode, use screen light or LED and more.
There are millions on flashlight apps out there, none had the customization options I wanted and often required root or included spyware. So I made my own... :good:

}
When you first open the app a dialog will allow you to set recommended settings. The recommended settings activate the following options: Start flashlight when app launches, Vibration feedback, Shake for torch and Run in background (so shake for torch can be used at any time - even with the screen off).
By tapping the settings button you can change any settings such as using the screen as the flashlight instead of the LED, you can also choose to have the screen remain on when the app is open.
This app only needs the camera permission (to use the camera's LED).
You can customize the shake strength. On my Nexus 5x and Galaxy S8 for an easy to activate nightlight I use Shake strength 30-40, otherwise about 70 is better for preventing accidental shakes - A karate chop gesture should do the trick
It's now in version 1.1, I've added more features such as an automatic off timer option where you can configure a timeout.
I've tried to keep the app easy to use with a clean appearance whilst still having plenty of customization options. Any suggestions for any features people would like to see added would be great....The only additional tweaks I can think of at the moment are customizable backgrounds within the app and configurable vibration strengths... but this would probably be overkill for a lightweight torch app!
Download:
I've attached the latest APK (it's around 1.5MB), it's also on the Play Store too
* Edit 24/04/2019 - Updated APK (to allow the app to work on newer versions of Android). Background and screen off responsiveness varies by device. Definitely recommend you disable battery optimisations for the app for better reliability.
