Hello everyone,
I'm trying to figure out WTF happened to my phone this morning. My current setup is . . .
[ROM] [03/21] NSCollab 1.0.12 | CM 7 [N. #28]
[KERNEL] [GPL] Honity12/14 - cm7 VSV6+BLN V4 / modaco - 2.3.3 - full voodoo
. . . I left my house with a full charge to goto class . . . I noticed that the phone was getting hot in my pocket, but I was busy with school so I didn't have time to troubleshoot it. I should have rebooted it, but I assumed it was alright since the temperature reading said 104 degrees F.
I got out of class, and the phone would not boot at all . . . I started freaking out, but I got home and realized the battery was dead. This is what was supposedly causing the battery drain. Anyone have any ideas what happened?

I think that is the new 3.4 Kernel, all new Roms with this Kernel have such a battery drain.
Up to 5-8 percent per hour drain for 3.4 kernels is usual though you didn't use your phone during the night....
If you complain about, revert to 3.0.80 kernel and Rom...

Hi! This is my first post on this forum, so first of all I want to excuse myself for my English.
This is my mothers phone. She had it since 2013, she likes it and never had experienced any problems up to few week ago. It is stock Android 4.2 no root. All modules are off, no bletooth, nfc, gps or wifi, and the only social apps installed, beside the stock ones, are WhatsApp, Viber and Skype.
A performed a calibration of the battery using the only one method that I know for no rotted phones - wait until the battery drops to 5%, and after that turn off the phone, taking out the battery for half an hour, and charge it for 5 hours without power it on.
This does not help at all, the drain persist. Those are the screenshots taken this morning:

Hi,
I replaced my Nexus's battery yesterday. Everything went well but trying to turn on my phone, it didn't lunch and but the led kept flashing in red. Reading here, I saw someone saying that it's a battery drain and to leave the phone charging for a couple of hours. Still nothing.
I tried to disconnect the battery from the board and start the phone and it worked. I then reconnected the battery (while the phone is lunching) and it's working but the battery percentage doesn't show and the red led is still flashing. See here (I know it small but look at the battery) -

I assume there's a problem with the board because I have two devices and I tried to switch the batteries between them and they work on the other device and red-led-flash on mine.
I'm using DU rom.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks!
HI, I have a weird problem. So I have my a7 for about a week and a half now and you guys might know that if you open the battery monitoring thingy in the settings it should say that it's going to work for like 30 hours right? Well mine used to say so up untill like 2 days ago when it suddenly changed to ~19 hours when at 100% and the % go down real fast (for example, I used to go down ~20% with 8-15 school usage and now I go down 20% in 9-13 school usade). I am still on android 8.0 with the latest security patch. What in the actual frick is going on.
Here's an example screenshot of how much battery% go down in just 36minutes of mixed lte+ and wifi usage

to see which processes and which applications could suck so much battery i'll put you screenshots if you can tell me what i should do in this case thanks
I'm having the same issue on a Xiaomi redmi 3.
I installed Mokee back in October, no battery issues. I just installed the new rom 2 days ago (26-04 version).
If I can't find any resolution, I'm going to try to see if I can downgrade my version. You've had any luck solving this in the meantime?
EDIT: Tried just installing the 9.0 version over the 10.0 one. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop :|
@Angyone1 what version of Mokee do you have installed?
