Some app on my nexus is eating my data quota, is there any way to find out which?
(or maybe a way to blacklist/whitelist apps for net access?)
You can use Spare Parts, there's section on network usage under battery history. Not sure about a blacklist/whitelist though.
Thank you. Got it!
You can also use aSpotCat its very useful.
I'd be very interested in an app that could block all internet connections when off wifi except for gmail's sync
It'll probably be easier to track/block background data per-app as more apps pick up the sync API. The issue is for that to happen, 1.x has to die.
I am a delivery driver and I would like to know what routes/roads I have taken for my trips.
Is there an app that can record route/roads history? For example at the end of the trip, I can review the route/roads taken on a map or all the road names displayed.
Kindly also state if the app needs to use data plan, I am using it daily so if it does not use data plan, that would be great.
Thanks
Have a look at Google's My Tracks app.

I am trying to create a better view of my cellular data usage using a Zooper widget. In the past, I have just looked at #NTMTHM7# (since my plan resets on the 7th), but that does not take into account the shared data on my plan.
I have the data I want available in the MyVerizon data widget. I just don't know if there is a way to access that data for display in Zooper.
Any help (including other methods) would be greatly appreciated!
Hello,
Wondering if someone can help me figure out where an app is storing data. I use Sideline for text messaging. I just got a new phone and want to move my message history over, but the fine folks who own the application won't tell anybody where messages are stored on the phone. How can I figure this out? Is there perhaps an app I can install that will monitor all reads/writes to the storage? Or something simpler?
Thanks!

Help a brother out?
I have not used this app. But in general, data of some APP should locate in a sub-folder of the app.
For example, local data of Whatsapp is in folder, Internet storage - Whatsapp - Databases.
Have a try for your text messaging app. Good luck to you.
Hi!
I want to buy a smart watch which communicates with a specific application (NPlus). I'll buy this smartwatch only if I can get running data (GPS coordinates, etc.) because I use Runtastic app for running and I want to import data into it. Could it be a database file contains these informations. As I know there is no export function.
