Please help me!!!!!
try widgetlocker from the market
Fully customize your lock screen.
Place standard Android Widgets on your lock screen. Can be configured from app or even from the lock screen itself, long-press to add/move/remove, just like on the home screen. will allow you to use customised clock widget and remove normal clock.

But i like stock lockscreen!!!!!
the lockscreen clock widget is hardcoded into an encrypted xml file in the framework-res.apk.
you have to decompile the apk to be able to decrypt the xml.
once you decompile and can edit the xml, there will be an entry on lockscreen.xml for <digital clock widget>. after that entry will be the positions and layout ending at </digital clock widget>
as far as changing the layout of the date itself, you may need to make that change with the internal digital clock widget itself. i can't remember all the details on this off the top of my head since it's been a year or so since i've done this.
rebuild your stock lockscreen with widgetlocker.. should be possible..

Hi, is there any programs to move the autolock\unlock slider from top of the screen to bottom of the screen in win6.5 (Manila 2.1). Maybe a theme or something. (I've search and cant seem to find anything so far.)
Thanks for your time.
Regrds,

I use HeartofWolf Lockscreen fix v4, with Duttys R8 it works great!
Its an XML type language if you fancy making your own. I've moved mine to the middle, with the clock in the top quarter of the screen and removed the calendar events.
Try it (usual applies.. try at your own risk, backup your system)
Copy the cpr file to \Windows\LockScreen
i have manila 2.1
works perfect and like his one muchbetter
Cheers, will give it a go.
and how can be changed the wallpaper from the lock screen?

Overwrite both stwater_???_??? in \Windows with the picture of choice. this also changes start menu wallpapers etc.. ??? being 480 and 800 (one for portrait, landscape)
Craig
and also, the clock can be bigger? what should we change inside of LS_LockScene_480x800.cpr?
As in the clock on the lock screen? If so yes, open the .cpr file in a text editor and find a key with a large text size somewhere towards the bottom. You may have to move things around, and certainly increase the size of the background window. I'm not near my pc to have a look for you.

Hi,
I just installed a great widget "Brightness widget" but I don't like the widget icons, it has 3 icons that change accordingly with the screen brightness.
I found only a software with which you can change the application icon but not the widget icon.
I opened the apk file with winzip and browsed and I found the icons but if I replace them the apk won't install anymore on my phone.
Can someone give me any guidance if it is possible to change the widgets icons and how? I want to change only the widget apk if possible.
thanks and sorry for the bad english
At present, it is not possible to change the icons of widgets in any Android version by using the phone, as far as I know.
actually I was able to change the widget icon. The only thing I had to do is to sign the modfied .apk with zip signer 2.
You previously mentioned that you found an app, what app was it?

Hi All,
I have done a ton of searching the last few days and still have not come up with a specific answer. I am looking to link my lock screen font to a new font, and not just change or replace the font.
I am running a Moto DroidX with 2.3.3 (605) and using Go Launcher EX... just incase any of it matters.
My clock is not pulling from Clockopia.ttf, instead its pulling from the same font the rest of the system is (such as notifiers and such), and that is DroidSans-Bold. To test and make sure I was correct, I replaced the DroidSans with some wacky font, and it turned every peiece of system based font into the wacky one, clock and notifications included.
Because of this I am unable to easily change just the clock font. I wanted to replace the clock font with an invisible one so I could have a simple and easy way for my lock screen to look directly at my home screen with no clutter. I have read a few apps let you replace the lock screen, but don't really want to run anything new as a constant process just to hide a font. I'm also satisfied with the basic structure and functionality of the default lock screen minus the time and verizon banner. Does anyone know the specific config file and location where I can specify which font the lock screen pulls from?
Are there any apps, free or paid, that will help me accomplish this exact task? What I most liked about the invisible font was that it's easily reversible and all I had to do was backup the original font file. I've already bought several good utilities and am not affraid to pay for one more as long as it does what I want in a simple and reversible way... and Ideally will not run anything full time backround services.
Thanks.
Booo! No takers with some info on this one?
I have widgets and icons on my home screen that I'd like to change the icons for. I don't want to change the icons for the app itself.
Some of the widget are of the same app that do different things (home automation) and I want to have different icons for each.
Anything I can use for this? Tried awesome icon changer but didn't work.
I like using the Default (Roboto) font but the Samsung font used for the Lockscreen and AOD clock is ugly and has inconsistent spacing. Changing the system font to any other option changes the clock style. When I use a font installer to install Roboto, it does change the clock, but creates an issue where font weight and spacing are incorrect in many apps. Yes, I also tried a variable font version as well. I realize that Samsung is likely using multiple font files to create Default and the font installer is limited. I also tried GoodLock with Clock Face but almost all centered options use the ugly Samsung font too.
Does anyone know how to change just the Lockscreen and AOD clock fonts? Back in the day, someone was able to modify Good Lock to give extra options but I'm hoping there is a simpler solution. Thanks in advance.
Hello. I have the exact same thoughts about the default One UI lockscreen font. Could you please share a bit more details on the Good Lock extra options?
Btw, I did try to install the system font with the Roboto TTF file like you mentioned in the OP and the lock screen looks much better now. I do get your point about "issue where font weight and spacing are incorrect in many apps", but fortunately for me, WhatsApp is the only app where I see this. And it does not look all that bad. So I believe I'm going to stick to this way.
Here's how:
Download 'SetEdit (Settings Database Edit)' from Google Play Store.
Open and find 'theme_font_clock' row, then tap it.
Tap 'Edit Value' and input with your font path addreses (*example: /storage/emulated/0/My Fonts/DS-DIGIB.TTF).
Tap 'Save Changes' and you're done!
Take a look!
*supports .ttf and .otf formats
works without root
Found it on reddit

Confirmed, does NOT work in OneUI 5.0. Was excited too.
I hope there will be another way...
