just search for it on ebay, I saw some interesting ones a couple of weeks ago, they are pretty cheap and small.
Or search for it on the first page of the accessories forum - about 10 entries further down.

I bought this one http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...63981&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1966wt_1091 and have to say that is great.
Try to look for Sanyo mobile booster! I am using it for my DHD and Ipod touch!

I got one of these, it charges at least 50% of your battery. I like it.
Why dont you just buy a second battery would be a lot cheaper and easier to carry around

I had 2 batteries for my previous phone, I can confirm it was a royal pain in the ass:
keeping the spare one charged (I had a desktop charger that had a space for the spare battery, but it soon stopped working)
having to take the battery out & reboot
Such is the design of the DHD that the less I have to open the plastic compartments, the better
It does also depend on what you want the extended usage for: I wanted to be able to record a GPS track for 5-6 hours at a time (mountain-biking), so stopping to change a battery, wait for reboot & then start the appropriate app took me 10 minutes once
Everyone's needs will be different, but for me at least, the 5000mah power pack is just right for me.
I use a PowerMonkey for mine. I get about 1.5 charges out of it. I miss my exspect recharge4 (left it at am ex's house) that thing was great, you really do get 4 full charges from it. Hard to find them now though. My PowerMonkey cost about £36 from Mailing in the UK.

I use a Zagg Sparq when traveling and I am quite pleased with it. I can get 3 to 4 charges out of it.

I am using this....it can charge ur DHD for about 5 or 6 times before need to recharge it.

Well a refurbished battery is a battery that was dead, but been dissasembled, and the individual cells inside replaced, then recalibrates it.... as far as I've heard.
some refurbished batteries don't hold charge as long, but that's no bother to me as I've only bought it to use when I'm out and my battery goes dead, once I get back home I will charge it and replace it with my original one.

Received the battery today, it works fine, but looks slightly different on one side of the battery, will upload some comparison images later on

I bought a 2430mah battery but the duration is equal to the original.
Ok I have bought one from that link. It was £5.10 now so I guess it will go up £1 every time item ends so I secured one.
I have been using this battery a lot over the past two weeks now and had no problems with it. Temperature staying at a normal rate, charge holding just as long as the battery that came with my phone, no signs of leaking, etc. Very good so far.

I still have that battery now and had no problems with it at all.

So could we see the pictures please (can't see them)?
Otherwise cheap batteries may result in some harmful stories (such as overheated/blown when charged) since the (overcharge and polarity) protection are not too well implemented (if implemented at all) and the cells might be some cheap ones... Afaik.
Found these batteries on Amazon. Don't own a Z, but they seem to be compatble in the Desire S aswell.
1500mAh - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0051N1MTY/ref=redir_mdp_mobile
1600mAh - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0052QSTYQ/ref=redir_mdp_mobile
Seem cheap and based on the reviews, they seem to work really well!
See the Sensation 1900mAh - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B0053EZJMC/ref=aw_d_cr_electronics
^Check out the reviews there! They seem to be very good for the sensation!
These batteries are dirt cheap, and seem to work well for other devices!
Anyone own one of these?
Can you give your reviews?
Cheers

I purchased the Anker 1600mAh battery from Amazon for my G2 for $9 shipped and it works great. I would say it gives me about 2 or 3 extra hours than the HTC battery that ships with the phone. This is just anecdotal of course, not scientific. I usually take my phone off the charger around 5:40am and plug it back in to charge around 10pm. The stock battery would usually be at or below 15% at this time. With the Anker I'm usually at about 30%. Not a huge difference, but my HTC battery started going bad so I needed to replace it and for the price, you can't beat it.
I did do a review on Amazon after breaking in the battery and using it for a week. I have no idea why it was taken down though.
The OEM battery for the Vision is actually pretty good, which is more than what can be said for the OEM battery for the Doubleshot. Search around Amazon. You can actually find bundle packs of those batteries for cheaper and they come with a battery wall charger.
I'm happy with my purchase and since I intended to get the new Nexus, I didn't want to end up with a stack of batteries I wouldn't use. Plus, based on reviews on other forums, everyone spoke very highly of the Anker batteries. It has been reliable for past few months (I bought it on July or August).

You know that 1500 is only 200 more than the stock 1300. If you're getting drastically less than the stock battery It'd be my assumption that it has aged to such a point that it's no longer holding the same charge as a stock 1300mAh battery.

For those gamers, YouTube watchers, extended battery life is great here is a screen shot as you can see.I get a little over a day worth of juice that includes, playing an hour of video game, watching YouTube videos, using my hotspot, surfing the net, updating apps, opening emails, texting, voice calls, which I use for work,12hr shift, have to call every hour(security) which is 30 sec a call but adds up threw out the shift.overall this battery is awesome

Which extended battery did you get? Can you provide a link?
How much thicker does it make the phone?
I've owned extended batteries in the phone (as my last 2 phones hardly made it 4hr off the charger) but this one does fairly well I feel. However if I can add an extended battery and allow the phone to do more (more widgets) I may go this route again
Here's the info, ok couldn't put a link because the link takes you to my account, but the sellers name and info is in the pic,$8 is a steal, yes it makes it much thicker, but it doesn't bother me I only use it for gaming and when I watch another video,I might buy another battery.I'll try post to post as picture with the extended battery, my sg3 is blue and the back I got for it is white but that's my choice a two tone color lol.

I've hit close to 36 hours with heavy use on Beans stock rom w/ the stock battery. You should be getting twice this with a 4500mah battery.
Jesus christ that battery is huge. i would get one doe.
I use the hyperion 4000+ battery and the matching case, it is totally awesome.
I stream audio (iheart radio or Sirius online) all day at work which is an absolute battery killer and the Hyperion lasts so long I never even bother to check my battery gauge anymore.
I only get a day because I just got the battery on Friday, haven't broken it in yet, I'm sure it will last more then a day++, but remember 4glte sucks battery, plus I play massive games, stream lots of video.so I'm very happy so far with this battery .and besides I'm still stock not even rooted or unlocked yet.

4300 w/NFC, Works Great, only $15!
I got an extended battery direclty from a Chinese Manufacturer. It's 4300mAh - works great - and has NFC. (The NFC works great too.).
The battery is on Aliexpress.com here: http://www.aliexpress.com/product-f...sung-Galaxy-S3-I9300-4300mAh-wholesalers.html
Or just search for 4300 Samsung Galaxy S3 NFC Battery on Aliexpress.com
I did a video review of the battery as well as the Hyperion extended battery case. You can check it out here if you want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOZivj2__l8
Anyway, I highly recommend this battery. Can't be beat for the price and get to keep NFC!
I just hope Hyperion, Anker, Siedio, or Mugen release a 3000 or so mah battery. 4000+ is just too large for me personally. I mean on the stock 2100 mah I'm getting killer battery stats for only being 2100mah and pushing a 4.8" screen or so. If we could get a good 3000 mah batter I don't think the design of the phone will be ruined and also think I could mod an OB defender case to work with it. Not possible w/ a 4500 mah battery.
Hi
This is my first thread on this site. Please help.me understand a few things regarding anker extended batteries, before I decide to buy them.
1. Are these batteries safe to use ?
2. Do they perform well even if using for a year or so ? I have seen all short term reviews only.
3. Can u charge them inside the phone itself using stock wall charger as with normal batteries ? As you know HTC sensation back cover is all delicate. So removing it often isn't a good idea.
I have stock ROM and stock battery at the moment and not to mention I am sick of the original battery. Please help me understand the questions above so i can get myself a pair of those 1900mah performers.
Yes they are safe to use and yes you can charge them in your phone with your stock phone charger.I have had my banker battery for 13 months now with now problems.

Thanks for that info I do have one.more silly questions of mine. I am a developer, I often need you do debugging while phone is connected to PC and charging. So in regards to safety I hope anker batteries are just like HTC stock batteries. Probably seller's mistake. I bought from the same seller through ebay and two days after, he set 2 pieces for $49. I paid $28 without the charger.
Just reporting in..
Using anker for 2 days here are my simple observations.
Up time : 20 hours
Awake time : 8 hours
Battery remaining : 16%
I am not a gamer, but i read a lot on phone and watch movies with flash player and talk (audio/video) to people over Skype / Viber everyday for over an hour. WiFi stays on whole day.. even when I sleep. So using the device continuous for over 7 hours on hand with brightness set to auto, and still having 14% of battery is a unexpected happiness for me.
I wouldn't want to expect more than this. !!
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda app-developers app
8 hours with screen on? Which rom are you using? That's a really great performance! I got mine for 24 hours usage but only 2 screen on.
Am using stock ROM. My typical usage includes watching movies for 2 hours, web browsing for 1-2 hours.in total. Gtalk, viber, Skype usage. (About 1 hour or less) and music plays even when screen is off. Screen brightness is mostly auto because I don't like reflections when reading text. WiFi remains on all the time.
This is after anker, before that of I tried screen brightness it would need charging 2 times a say. Now I make it through whole day one single charge. Mind you I don't play games at all, so may be that helps.

And how long do you use this battery?
Sent from my LG-SU760 using xda app-developers app
I have had these batteries for 2 weeks.
With my normal usage, i.e., always either connected to wifi or 3G, I have around 24 hours charge with one battery. Note I use iodak's kernel with tweaked voltages too.
When I go to bed, I leave wifi off and 3G off, and in 8 hours it spends 1% battery, sometimes 2% only!
When it's drained, I just pop it out and insert a new one.
The charger allows you to charge simultaneously one external battery AND your phone!
Excellent deal, and this seller is very good. Took me around 2 weeks to get the item though, as it was shipped from singapore.
