I watched a video of the player on Phandroid.
Anyone able to pull the .apk and post it up here? I'd like to see if it'll work on the latest CyanogenMod!

Well i just installed it on my Magic with the latest cyanogenmod through ADB.
It works fine except for the landscape mode (it will cut out a part of the menu) and the widget ( probably because of the screen resolution )

Thank you for posting the link. Just installed it on my droid and everything is running great with the exception of some of the movies not being displayed in full screen. About a half a centimeter is left blank on the right of the videos. Other than that it has a pretty nice UI and works well.

This would be the PERFECT Media player IF it had a quick scroll function for lists

Works perfectly on my Droid! Only problem is that it's kind of slow when selecting something or scrolling through the list.

Its smooth with no lag on MT3G and G1
Cant wait for that snap dragon NeXus to be released.

Works fine, but at the end of once song the player stops.

Is there any way to resize the widget for smaller screens like mt3g?

what kind a video file this nemoplayer can read? my avi video cant play

On my Acer Liquid the Nemo Player was active in the background all the time and used a lot of cpu, so I removed it. Don't want applications running and using cpu even if I never use them. There are a lot of mediaplayers that can do the same as Nemo, without the cpu-usage all the time.
Can you check in LogCat if nemo is active all the time even if never used?

i experienced the same thing... it slows down the whole system. every time i start it it scans the whole sd card for media files which takes quite long (i have about 5 gigs of music on the sd) and slows down the app...

Works great on the N1.

Bump! Apparently, the latest leaked Liquid rom has Nemo 0.96.1. Anybody have the file? I'm having some challenges extracting it from the rom bin file.

It now pauses my music when I take out my headphones. Just tested on N1 not sure how it will work on the G1 or myTouch since they don't have headphone jacks tho.

I meant a ROM that for example don't shut down coreplayer when it goes to standby by pressing the power button

thats a program option - nothing todo with the rom
core player is mostly for movies/videos thats why i pause the media playing when you turn off the display
gues youll need an music player instead..

No that option in core player doesn't work in some ROMs

The g1 and mytouch came with the worst video player compared to any other smartphone with a comparable screen. And don't even mention the YouTube app. I would like a rom that has a videoplayer that wont crash just because I try to slide forward or backwards a video file and that can play full-screen. I also wouldlike the YouTube app not to play the low quality videos, just as if it was connected to wifi. Mytouch 3g 32b is three a rom like that for my phone? Thanks, if there isn't then maybe I'm going to have to go back to my iPhone. I'm currently using cyanogenmod it would be even better if there was a way to replace the core video playey and remove the limitations that I'm guessing T-Mobile added to the YouTube app.

i'm currently searching for an app that can record the screen of my phone and export it like a video.
There's already an app like it?? Or, there's anyone that knows better than me java, to create it for the community?!

Sorry, but it doesn't run on my phone... i cant find it in galaxy gio market...
i've tried to download it from internet, but it load, and load, and crash. So, what can i do?

ShootMe can record movies of your screen, but only at 20 frames per second and the resolution is not that good.
It's not on the market anymore, but I've archived a copy here.

You can also try z-ScreenRecorder as ShootMe was not updated and does not work anymore on newer GB ROMs

I flashed ics rom for gio.. so i've also tried z-screenrecorder.. and... nope, it doesnt work! -.- it record the video, but when i go watching it, there's an error..

Open ShootMe, open menu, hit "preferences," set "working mode" to "continuous (screencast). Then scroll down to the bottom of the preferences screen to set codec and framerate.

When you've set the working mode to screencast, it will start recording when you hit the green "accept" button. It stops recording when you open the app again and hit the quit button. The movie is saved in the ShootMe folder on your sd card.
If the app was already active when you switched from screenshot to screencast, tap quit, and then restart and tap the green button.

Dunno why ShootMe doesn't show the screencast option on your phone. Maybe it doesn't like your ROM, or maybe it's unable to talk with the video codecs on your phone?

3D movie player

I am sorry if this thread is already been posted but i need to ask.
when i was on GB the Default player of Of O3D reads 3D movie , i watched 3D movie on my phone. but ever since i come on ICS ported by Xbsal or CM10 i can't watch 3D movie anymore.
SO my question is there any 3D player out there. Normally the Default player of ICS ported should read 3Ds but everytime when i play 3D movie or clips the screen share 2 sides.

The stock player support 3D .

Same problem here. System video player does play MP4 and MKV, but it does not have 3D button for SBS video.
3DVPlayer load on ICS, but does not play video.

When ever u play movie on stock player. This is not an issue of player.do following steps and i hope u will helped.
1. Tap 3D button when video is playing, it will start video as 3d but still 2 side video
2. Tap Menu key it will open video options, then go to 3D formatter.
3. Tap on LR (Left and Right) option
Then it will give u 3d with one screen. Also it saved that video as 3d for future.

Thanks mate, I've tried this one but seems like on ICS its very lag normal video play smoothly but 3D very won't work, in CM10 in other hand its awesome.

It used be like your side in 2.3.5. But this does work for my 4.0.4. I do not reason. Could you tell me where is 3D button? Is it on side of phone or a button on screen? I do not have 3D formatter on my screen.

Do u really have a stock player?? because it have 3D button on the uper right side of the screen. Also u can use 3d button on the phone. When 3d is enabled then 3d formatter option will available.
If there is no 3d button than it would nt be a stock player.
If u want to install stock player. I will also help u. But first recheck my steps

Yes, I think I am on stock player. The version number is 2.3.113.
I may wrong. I am on XBSA v5. I never change video player.
And also I could play my old 3D video which I captured by my phone. There is no 3D button on the screen when I play those video, but it works. For some reason when I try to play SBS MP4 or MKV. There is no 3D as well.
In gallery I can see 3D icon on my video but not on those MP4 video. It looks like the player just do not recognize those videos are 3D.
Could you please upload a Video Player current you have?

What do you mean? CM10 doesn't support 3D display yet. I tried this app and I could only see side by side. Am I missing something here?

Fixed, the 3D video working.
The problem is I changed product name in build.prop file. Now I change back, 3D working.
But one of my movie does not support by play, it used working on 2.3.3.

BTW files MP4 and MKV (sbs) from another sources work very well for me even 2D files can be converted to 3D .

That is the way I fixed my problem.

It working On ICS
I have found out a way to do it on ICS and it work perfectly, If you have the Default player of ICS or GB when you start the video it comes in 2 side so all you have to do is that you just have to change the 3D format in Option of the player it works fine. On CM10 in another hand it won't work because of the Default player does not support 3D yet. even you install the 3D player still got no chance of it to work. But Guy We have many developers in here, so soon or later they will bring 3D back on CM10 its just matter of time, so be patient.

I was saying that in CM10 with this 3D player will not read 3D movies, but it will play any format of video smoothly. i was using the cm10 for 3days and once i got the freezing and laggi and stuff i went back to ICS. so i didn't have a chance to play with it.

Hi, I have problem which I can't explain. When I am trying to play my movies from the nas (synology), many of times is not playing. I see the circle and stuck there. When I restart the box, it's ok for once, until I want to see another movie. Then i have to restart the box again. I dont have the same problem with other players such as bs or vlc. I am curious what is going wrong.

just wait for a while. then goto help > bug report. Save the bug report to sdcard & share here.

Custom codecs are just customized FFmpeg libraries & will not improve anything functionally on network streaming.
probably, there might be some other issues which got fixed automatically.

I have downloaded a ts file from iptv server ( in windows) and transferred it to mi box.. unfortunately mi box video player did not play it while xmtv player can play it.. If I can make system video player can play that ts file i can use of my iptv app.. which does not work on mi box.. I am sure that's about system default codec.. and I do not know how can I change and work with media_codecs.xml in /system/etc/media_codecs.xml

I have almost found the problem and need help for resolve it..
as I knew.. problem happens because of width and height of some videos..it is important for me to play this samples with Mi Mdeiapalyer app..as system player..

Mi box 3 Oreo update volume slider bug
Is anyone else getting just a white volume slider the blue dot appears but the icons are whited out its suppose to look like the slider from MM. I noticed it because when I got close to it I saw a faint media and volume symbol. Is there a way to fix that. I already reset with no success

This is a firmware bug. MX Player has nothing to do with it. Kindly post it in the appropriate subforum.
