I did an update to EC10 and have lost the email program. Is there any way to recover that program so I can use my work(exchange) email and hotmail and sync them with my calandar? Yes I searched this problem before posting.
I will have same issue if I upgrade... anyone with an A: for the Q:?
It seems that the calandar is not working properly either. If I go into accounts it force closes.
I'm running pick and pack and I have the email app, i just checked the .zip and it's in there, what are you running?
I ran Pick and pack but maybe it is an older version. Do you have a link to the one you ran so I can go that route? Thanks for the reply

I was using the official Faria rom and am currently using the Faria Reloaded rom. Sometimes when I connect to the email, all is well. Then other times, when it downloads, it will pop up the notification as well as the email text, but when I go to read it it will show that I have no messages in my email at all, including the ones previously downloaded. Also, sometimes it will just skip over downloading messages at all.
I am currently using the gmail, configured like I had before, where I had no issues. It checks every 15 minutes. It is set to d/l the whole message and to not delete email at all.
Is it a specific issue to the wm6 rom? Does gmail not play nice with the wm6 rom?

I am also having the exact issue...i plan on loading up the crossbow reloaded or the buisness edition....I NEED the pop email to work for work purposes...so we'll see what happens ...other wise the rom is great

I flashed Wizard Moblie 6 Business Edition FINAL by jwzg(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=302934&highlight=HTC+Wizard+WM6+Business+Edition+V2) and this solved my pop issue ...also solved my windows live /hotmail issue that i did not mention previously....i'm sticking with this ROM for now.

I need to retact the above statement POP is still nto working for me fully.....while gmail pop works fine ...POP to the email sever at my job will initialy download email but will update with new messages when sending/receiving.....I am using Cingulars Xpress Mail app to get my work email on my phone now.....

Those are 2 different protocols. The email is either one or the other. If you have a secret or trick...please share.
I have an exchange account and 2 pop accounts....I don't know if pop works because I change roms too often.
2 days on the same rom is an eternity

Very simple ...while setting up my account i selected imap instead of pop. Our email server supports both protocols.
tried the above today, so using the latest version.
the GUI has problems, once I switch to Today or List or anything that changes the page, all the entries disappear. Only works again (for the first load) if I exit and restart the app.
anyone else got this problem?

I had the exact same problem, went back to v2.27 and its working great again.
Maybe u can try using SBSH Calendar Touch.
I am using it and it works well with HTC HD2
I have it installed on the Tilt2 and have the same problem. What I have found that fixes it for now is to shut down the software, then delete the file InesoftCalendar.vol file from the device. Once deleted start the program again and then update your calendars.
Make sure to disable the autosync function from the program otherwise when it syncs you will have trouble with the software again. I am disappointed that they have not yet fixed this nor responded to my e-mails.

As mentioned above 2.27 has no problems and it appears the same as the latest build ie/ it gets updated so often but looks the same
How can I get the older version?

Problem starting Inesoft calendar
Hi, this is my first post.
I installed Inesoft calendar just fine. Downloaded my Google calendars and appointment, no problem. But here's what happens, if I exit the program I can't start it again. (The apps name briefly appears in top left hand corner of the screen)
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, same result.
Any ideas as to what is wrong?
I like Inesoft calendar because it lets me have multiple separate calendars. So if anyone knows of another program for WM 6.5 that can do that I would to hear.
I know of app's that can sync multiple Google calendars to Outlook, but I'm on a Microsoft exchange server, and my Outlook calendar is also my work calender viewable by all my colleagues, so syncing is not an option.

i have a market issue with infused 1.6
its more of an android issue i feel, than the phone.
i have 2 gmail accts linked to my phone, my main one and the one from work, so i can check email.
my problem. market is linking to my work gmail. it shows none of the apps i have purchased on my main acct. only the ones on my work gmail. if i delete the work gmail, it works fine.
how do i tell market which gmail acct to link too? i have searched for hours in the settings and cannot resolve this issue.
my only fix atm is too remove the work gmail and add it when i check mail.
this issue did not start unitil a. i updated 1.5 to 1.6 of infused, or b. the market did an update after i updated to 1.6
any help would be appretiated

Use menu key, select "accounts", and select the needed account.
did they just add that? i swear i looked and didnt see it. but this was about 2 weeks ago. i had just given up then. the menu button only had my apps settings and more. maybe i just over looked it. funny cause thats the first place i think i looked.

Hi everyone!
I just successfully rooted my HTC Sensation 4G and installed cynogenmod (HyperSensation-CM7.1-v1.2).
Everything seems fine so far, but I'm confused about the default included 'email' app. Is this the google-made gmail program or something different? I expected once I set up my 'account' upon initial startup, clicking on this e-mail app would 'just work' and pull up my emails, but instead it started asking me for email account details.
Should I download 'gmail' from the market? Is that what I really want?
Also, I'd like the swype-like functionality back on this keyboard, but don't know the best way to get that back. Any help would be appreciated, as I can't post to the cynogenmod thread yet.

Most roms have 2 Email Apps, one is Gmail, the other is Email.
If you use Gmail for your email address (i.e. xxxx.gmail.com), then you should use the Gmail app which some Roms include and can easily be downloaded from Android Market.
If you use a pop email account, like yahoo or hotmail, then for those you don't use the Gmail app, but can use the other Email app. You can also download other Email apps from the Market, like K9 or Enhanced Email, for this purpose too.
Excellent, actually once I started 'restoring' from my google account, it downloaded gmail for me automatically and that's working like I expected. Thanks for the help.
Any idea on the swype keypad functionality?
I used to be able to choose which email I wanted to send from in the Android Gmail app. When they updated it to 4.2.1, it would usually not stick and would end up sending it from the default email address instead. I was able to uninstall all updates and regain the ability. BUT, then my phone got the OTA update to Android 4.1.2, and now I can't go back any earlier than 4.2.1 for Gmail. The Gmail update that came out recently (4.3?) doesn't work either. Even when an email is sent to a "secondary" email address, when I reply it goes from the default email address! Any ideas how to fix this? Am I the only one with this problem?
