it's the news and weather widget, it's very nice, sometimes people call it the genie widget

In order to install this I have to uninstall my other genie app.
But when I uninstall it says uninstallation failed....any help please?
I think its because you have the genie widget as a system app, so you need titanium backup to uninstall it

I recently converted to this beautiful android phone can please someone help me with a good weather widget without autoupdate.... i what it to update only when i want and please no HTC looking crap
I've heard that Beautiful widgets is good.. and doesn't look like the HTC one.. not sure about the autoupdate though.. you'd have to try it (if you haven't already!) to see if you can switch auto update off.
Tried and I can't turn auto update off :-(

Yes you can, Auto update interval to never.
I just tried and has refreshing interval 15m-16h I have 2999

edit: found solution.... using switchpro to turn data connection on and off when i need it to update
The BEST weather widget for the Xperia is Palmary weather you can get it from their site
Try out 'Weather widgets' (yr.no) from the market - its free.
Tried a few, and found Weather Forecast the best - skinnable to match you x10 theme too...

Agreed. Weatherbug elite is the class of this genre.

updated a few apps
updated meridian 1.7.1 widget(full transparent widgets) using NINJAMORPH from the market and signed the app with ZIPSIGNER2
i attached meridian, the updated youtube and facebook 1.6 transparent with white lettering and full transparent widget apps below
* added transparent semc music plus widget* enjoy!

Can't get on computer but I installed go launcher just to use your Widgets. Very well executed. THANKS.
Anyway you can do some Widgets for launcher pro plus. I prefer it over go as do alot of other users.

Does anyone have a flashable or metamorph transparent version of the genie widget (news and weather). I still haven't found a better weather widget and I used to have a transparent metamorph theme for my eris, but it won't work on my incredible.

Android Pro widgets, its almost an exact copy of the Launcher Pro widget suite and free
Pure Calendar is the only other solution really, but it is paid. There's also Colorize (which I think includes a calendar widget).

I dont know.about you but pure calendar sucks the battery.dry, colorize widgets is pretty cool i reccomend it

Move to system app folder and change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot, it will show up in your widgets.

when i install this it says
process com.lge.android.calendar.widget stop working and it force close
does this work on a gingerbread rom
or does it need a different calendar.apk and calendarprovider.apk to make it work
Jorte calendar is good and has a selection of widgets,I find it as good as sense widget
