Is there any way to disable the full battery notification? Maybe with a mod for PnP v3?

its a service.jar mod...i dont know that fascinate service.jars work or not for you guys
There is a thread about this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913656
But that code listed in 1st post does not work with any version of 2.2 I have flashed.
I'd love to see it gone tho too

Try this first, then the code he suggested.
Code:
Go into the phone dialer and enter *#22745927
SPC code: 000000

for me the number works but I get an error when I enter the SPC code it comes up with "Invalid code"
The SPC Code on US Cellular is changed when you do a *228 of the phone.. The SPC Code is then tied to your ESN. If you know someone well enough at USCC they can get you the SPC code, or you can try calling customer service to see if they will give you it..

I still have 2.1. Can you re-enable using the same code then as well if I should want to turn it back on for some reason?

Could someone with USCC go to the dialer and do ##786#, then View and tell me what version there PRI is? TIA
EDIT: If you don't have the ability to use the ## dial codes download the EPST.apk file I attached, move it to /system/apps, then install it, then reboot and you should be able to use the ## codes now.
BUMP, 44 views and no response guys. Am I asking too much? lol
Dialer code doesn't work even after installing .apk according to your instructions

Had that issue before but didn't know if anyone else would. Give this a go if you don't mind:
- Go into the Dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
- Go back into the phone dialer (clear first code) and enter *#22745927
- Now a box will come up asking for the SPC code. Enter 000000
- Press the Hiddenmenu Enable radio button.
Thanks for trying to help.

I figured, after you do a *228 it changes your lock code. It's all zeros on the EA11 rom until you do the first *228. I got a friend who works at USCC and they have a utility that can tell you the lock code. It's generated by hashing the phone serial with some other variable. Thanks for your assistance though.

If they won't just let me know and I can get it for you. Least I can do for you trying to help me out.
After doing some searching I found this link that helps you to get your MSL code. I just tried it on my Mesmerize and it worked perfectly for me.
Enjoy:

Thanks for this. I was wondering where I could find that number.
It looks like you only need the app they recommend to get a terminal, so if you already have one, you don't need to download another app. Also, from one of the comments, use
Code:
getprop ril.MSL
instead of just getprop to keep from looking through all of getprop's output.
My PRI is 0x01. If it matters, I'm running the community rom 1.2 with the EC01 radio.
Thanks man! Had code but I checked it out anyway. Worked like a charm. If they ever change mine on update this will save me a call to USCC.

I have seen the same thing posted by MANY others so I didn't figure it would bother anyone. I didn't realize it would push your buttons so much, but if it does I can always edit my post so you will feel better.
Can anyone please tell me how to remove that obnoxious "AT&T" from the precious real-estate of my notification/status bar? It takes the space of at least 2 notification icons. Thus making them que, rather than appear in the bar, where I can quickly glance and know if I should bother with dragging it down and taking action.
I'd also be interested in learning how to remove the clock from the bar, as well.
Many Thanks,
does the lack of response mean I have to wait for a custom rom?
I think the phone will have to be deodexed in order to change anything like that
This is done in the eri.xml. The eri.xml is in the framework-res.apk.

Yes. For the odex rom you would need to edit and recompile and sign the apk before pushing it back. You can probably sign it with test keys and it be fine but you never know. I am afraid to try anything until we have a road to recovery!

Who hates the carrier name on the lock screen? Me too,
Delete the following file and it will go away....
/system/csc/customer.xml
If you feel like figuring out which line of code generates the carrier label feel free, i didnt...lol. So I just deleted the whole file.
Enjoy
Thanks Button.

I tried this but unfortunately it didn't remove the carrier from my lockscreen. I'm in Australia and on Vodafone AU. I searched all the customer.xml files and found 1 for Australia and removed that with no success. Any ideas? I really want that carrier text to go away!

Sorry... I was looking for the physical build date. Not the build date of the ROM
I think you can find it other apps like SetCPU and go to info or Off the phone, pull the battery and think you can see it there
