Hello!
Weird problem occured today. Any of the videos I have on gallery wont play anymore. When I click the preview image from the video screen just darkens a little bit and then nothing happens?!! When I touch the screen the second time it lightens up again?!
It used to work before. Couple days ago I watched few videos throught gallery which I recorded with HTC desire. When I pressed the preview image a pop up window showed up which asked which player I want to use, either the stock player or MX video player that I also have installed. And it worked just fine no matter which one I used.
Now there is no pop up anymore, it just darkens. And yes Iam trying to watch the same videos which worked before. Even if I record a video with the TF's own camera it wont play it when I try to open it up either from gallery or from file manager.
If I open the MX video player and launch the video throught there it works, but why it doesnt launch it from anywhere else?
Any help is appreciated!
Edit: Stock 3.2 android, so its not rooted.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question...have you tried to restart it? When mine does that I end up having to restart to get things working again. If you have tried that then Im not sure...

Yes I have restarted it.
Man this is getting even more weird. I received email about your reply and when I tryed to press the link from Gmail app which would direct me to this thread screen just darkened again just like with the video. No pop up asking which browser I want to use, it just darkens and lights up when I press the screen again?!?
One other option is this...try rotating the screen and see if the menu pops up for you.
If you have installed any 3rd party browsers, try uninstalling them and see if this resolves your issue. Let me know so I can keep looking for ya if not!

Heh, I think I got it solved now. I unmounted TF from the dock in order to try that screen rotation and decided to see if the email thing works. And it did, so does the videos now! I hooked up it on the dock again and everything seems to be working again.
I didnt even rotate the screen, seems like just unmounting and mounting it on the dock did the trick. Thanks.
No prob man, I noticed when I searched google it was a problem in general with the 3.2 update on a few devices. Glad you got it fixed!
Im using a samsung galaxy tab pro 10.1. Tablet runs so smoothly and video plays well on almost all apps even web streaming except 4OD and Demand 5. Everytime i try to play a video on these 2 apps, the ads run smoothly and as soon as the actual video starts to load, app closes and i get an error message on boot screen " watchdog detected: hard lock up on cpu 1" . Tablet is not rooted. I have also taken some screen shots. Can anyone please help me?. Thanks
i have got strange problem with S8 (G950F) after flashing combination file, phone screen showing watchdog detected hard lockup cpu 3,
after flashing 4 files, phone is stuck on samsung logo, can't go into recovery mode, only download mode is working..
any solution for this weird problem..?
Hi guys. Im gonna tell about a problem which does not occur in many apps. In my opinion it happens when i open an app that neeeds graphic card but not for sure. Here is the problem.
Ex. When i open a game or youtube video nothing is wrong if screen faces up. Nothing at all. When i tilt the screen down it blacks out even sound goes off ( phone is on) and then i tilt phone back up everything goes on working. It only happens in these kind of apps. Any ideas ?

I solved the problem by uninstaling updates from samsung's game tool/game mode app from aplication manager.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. My problem is when I used the Samsung Internet app,when I am trying to view online streaming vr videos, I get a message stating "no playable video source" and when I use the Occulas internet app, the vr video loads and then a start command appears. When I press "start" the video seems to load for a second, then the screen goes black with a "open menu" command, and when pressed it show the a small size version of the working screen command as it would do normally would do, when it was working well. But there is no video in the open box to command it to play. After trying to figure this problem out I reset the phone back to factory setting mode but the problem resulted in the same matter as explain above. If anybody knows, or have suggestions to figure out this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
I tried searching for the phone on hear but it brought nothing up. I'm attempting to download google camera. At best I have gotten an apk that only video recording works and taking pictures shows a black screen and crashes. Another one opens up momentarily and I can see my camera fine but then crashes quickly. Is this something I will be out of luck on until this phone gets root capabilities? Thanks for reading
V2f_moonlightdrive is the apk that video works and settings but camera is black and crashes if I stay on it for too long.
