Will we get the 7390 update to replace our 7389? - HTC 7 Pro

Microsoft started pushing the new 7390 update today. Since the Sprint Arrive has the 7389 update, do you think we will get updated to 7390? Or do you think that 1 build difference is for Samsungs phones that had the issue updating?
Alex

Good question...

@92GTA I see in your signature that you installed NoDo update. Tell me please, you tried to Chevron unlock device ? It's possible or not ? Big THX for your reply

Sprint HTC Arrives shipped with build 7389 installed from the OEM, hence why I was wondering if they would be updated to 7390 by MS.
I haven't tried it because I read it won't work with update. I'll let someone else be the guinny pig

Ok THX, I understand, and I wait too

I have tried finding details on what the difference between 7389 and 7390 are and I can't find anything.

Looks like a NO:

Yeah I saw that, I don't see that there is any difference between the two. Possibly 7389 is for CDMA 7390 is for GSM or something like this.

so now i have a questions!
can i use this rom for a branded device or do i need an unbranded device?
so when i can use it for a branded device do i have to change the modelid.fig? or is it impossible?
which HTC devices is this for? and isn't 1.30 the NoDo, this says it's 1.24.
Rom for HTC 7 Pro
Is there any possibility to Flash These rom on a branded device without using a goldcard??
hmmm... will I still able to jailbreak my device after update?
JIeBKA, jailbreak on NoDo impossible.
It's a little bit disappointing...
By the way, has anybody tried this ROM?
Please, describe your feelings.
I can't try this, because I'm writing an app, and will not able to test it on my device if I flash the ROM. So... I think it's better for me to wait until I buy dev acc.
I love you so much. I download, try, and tell you all!!
---- Download is off-line!!! ----
--- re-edit. it's ok! ---
Can anyone upload the ROM at another sites?
FileFactory isn't reachable sometimes...

would you check please if you can find something newer or pre nodo rom for verizon trophy thanks in advance?
yep. found out the hard way. couldn't flash the ansar rom after this too. so i sent it back for warranty. let see what happens.
Does this enable us to developer unlock our device and flash back to the stock ROM?

nope it looks more like the rom that htc or verizon used to demo the unit because it loads adverstisment of the device on standby

Hi all!
I may have some good news here shortly.
I've been able to get through the first few steps of the Mango beta update process.
Nothing certain yet, but the phone seems to be properly going through the steps with the demo rom.
Please let me know if you are interested in a step-by-step.

http://windowsphonehacker.com/articles/get_the_mango_update_now._without_being_a_developer.-06-30-11
What that article doesn't tell you is what version of Zune you need. If you've updated it, uninstall, then install zune from the official zune site. DO NOT WINDOWS UPDATE before you use this program. Plus in the phone, run the Update program, it'll do the rest.
Once it's done, open your phone in the zune software, and check for Device update (not zune software), it'll update to a newer version. Once that first phone update is done, check again, and THATS the Mango beta. The Mango beta will take around 40 minutes and appear unresponsive at times, so be patient.
Enjoy! I absolutely LOVE Mango so far, even though most apps dont multitask yet.

Hi Football,
Is there any chance you could whip up a ROM for Vodafone New Zealand?

Official Mango update 7.10.7720.68 for Trophy

Hi guys,
http://www.filefactory.com/file/cd831bc/n/RUU_Spark_S_HTC_Europe_4.06.401.00_5.69.09_RELEASE.exe
Back up your data before, you will loose all.
If your Trophy is branded, use the gold card method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10176994#post10176994
It worked well for me!
I wish you all a nice weekend!
Thank you. This works fine for me as well.
Would this work for the Verizon Trophy? I'm a bit confused at the difference between the Verizon Trophy (SparkW, I believe?) and the other models, but there seems to be a difference. At least there is in trying to install the DFT ROMs.
Thanks!

If you have the Verizon Version, AKA the Spark_W. DO NOT ATTEMPT the GSM roms.
They will Brick your device. There is no current NoDO (AKA factory rom) available for the Verizon HTC Trophy, so if you got there, there is no way possable to attempt to get your phone up and running again.
I wish someone would release a Verizon NoDO rom that works, so we can play with out as much worry.

I'm on the Mango RTM now & had no success using the timing hack. Anyone has any idea if there even is a "HTC Update for Windows Phone" for the Trophy? On a GSM Trophy in Singapore.
Thx!
What system languages are available in this ROM? I got the official Mango update yesterday, but Swedish is not available as a system language there (only same as before: English, German, Spanish,..)

Yes, I got a "HTC update for Windows Phone". I was on Mango RTM before and successfully updated just now. Not sure if this is the official Mango but I do see the firmware is updated. No more "not for sale" during boot up.
Is this the only update required for official Mango?
No bro GoingInside, that probably means you were on Build 7714. So you probably got 2 updates from 7720 -> HTC update, yes?

Bro e_t,
Mine should be mango, just not 100%sure if it's RTM or official Mango. I was on RTM Mango all the while. Recieved a msg from M1 (yes, I'm from Singapore) on Wednesday afternoon regarding a new update.
I did not roll back to noDo and just connect my phone to Zune while still on RTM mango. Immediately got a "HTC update for Windows Phone" and proceed to update. Once update is completed, I applied the CustClear.provxml trick and now my Phone is still chevon unlocked. All previously side loaded apps are working, including the Mango apps such as Whatsapp. Followings are observed after update:
1. Connected Media works (was not working in RTM mango)
2. During boot up, no "Not For Sale" logo
3. OS Version is still 7.10.7720.68
4. Firmware is updated: 2250.21.40601.707 (was 2250.21.12200.707)
5. Radio software and Bootloader version are also updated
This is the only update I received. So mine is 100% official mango?
Yes, but looks like your upgrade path to RTM is different from mine, coz I dun have the Not for Sales splash screen.
Yes, you're now officially Mango. I wonder if my upgrade last time affected anything coz I did not flash all the cabs when I move from RC to RTM.
Bro GoingInside, you said u got a msg from M1 as in SMS?
i downloaded and installed DFT 7720 rom
Compare with the Official 7720 is same, so i wont go to official mango
Bro stussy, I don't wanna lose any data & I'm don't side-load apps so I prefer to go with the official ROM. Now all I need is the HTC firmware upgrade for Asia WWE. Either that or the cab file so I can use UpdateWP.exe to manual update...

Got a message from 'someone' but don't think it's an SMS cos I cannot find it in my MESSAGING. Can't remember exactly what's inside the msg cos I was having lunch and just brushed it off.
But confirm I got an SMS from M1 (20000) later: "please rate the service you just received from M1 Officer: 1-very good, 2-Good, 3-Average, 4-below average, 5-Poor. Thank you."
After that got another SMS from 53011 (M1?): "A new service/update has been added to your M1 Xplorer Menu. Pls restart phone to refresh the menu. This msg & update svc is free." I did a restart but didn't observe any difference.
Maybe you would like to give M1 a call to check with them.

Can you confirm if connected media is working? This only works after I did the HTC drive update.
The M1 Xplorer thingy is for Feature (dumb) Phones using Java Midlet &/or SIM card based application. They used to have a Xplorer software for Windows Mobile but it is not applicable for Windows Phone 7. I also have this message but it's not for Mango rollout. Sigh...
Microsoft has expanded Mango rollout to 50%. Looks like I'm not there too.

beta users roll back to NODO before full Mango? maybe not

@garymoncrieff We'll have install details for people on the beta when they become available. ^EB

Could go either way but I'm planning to wait until the full Mango update is available before I rollback. I'm convinced they will have an upgrade path straight from beta 2 to RTM Mango.

Sweet, I hope so, I have the RTM, even if I have a couple if extra steps to get to full mango.
Still running 7713 here. I didn't want to upgrade to RTM till official release from AT&T. I'm not going back to nodo.
Many believe that if on 7720.68 you will just see firmware and radio updates rolled out to your device and you are all set. There seems to be some evidence that those on 7720.68 won't have to roll back.

I believe that the chance you have to roll back to NoDo from a beta are higher than from RTM.
Drivers are most likely Update Packages in there own right which makes them similar to the missing language packages on Walshed Phones with Nodo.
So you'd have the new Firmware and new Radio but your Camera would still not allow touch to Focus but only touch to shoot, as well as having Hidden Wifi missing, etc. The compass might also not work as it does in the Beta.
On the Omnia 7 you could Flash only Radio and Bootloader from the KH2 ROM which enabled those features and they were missing so you had to flash the OS part too.
So I'd really like to know what speaks for the ability to get the missing drivers into the RTM-updated devices?
Is anyone seeing any of these updates yet? I'm on developer build, Samsung Focus w/ATT
The documents from Verizon wireless show it as a upgrade and it's been confirmed for tomorrow. I guess I"ll find out tomorrow, I'm on 7720.68 RTM. I'd hate to roll back and lose all my save games and new settings.
That has been the biggest thing about upgrading or rolling back, is my save games and app settings.

Isn't that a hard SPL ? You need to go back to stock anyway to take the OEM/Zune upgrade. They said right in the directions of the 7713 build that they dont support Zune upgrades.
So, if you are HSPL unlocked, you need to roll back to a stock rom to even take the update.

The previous commenter on this is wrong. You cannot update 7003, at least as far as I know. I'm working on a way to do it, but the force update method only works with 7004 and higher.
I know. The problem is that I need ROM 7004 since, don´t ask me why -'cause I don´t know, but mine came with build 7006. So, any method from 7004 to 7008 doesn´t work at all in my case.
Does anyone happen to know the links to diff packages to force update from rom 7006 to rom 7008?
