Hello, we would like to introduce you our Android application that allows you to estimate a person's age by the photo. Age Meter is not an application in the style of "X-Ray" or "Scanner mood." Age Meter does not emulate the work and does not show the age of a person at random.
Age Meter detects up to 90 points on the face and on the basis of it makes an assumption about the age of the person. The algorithm used in the application takes into account age-related changes of a skin, oral and maxillofacial areas of a face, distance between eyes, and many other options.
You can share result via Facebook, Twitter or other social networks.
Tips to improve the quality of recognition:
- Photos should be well lit.
- The person must be centered on the photo and be aimed at the camera.
- The person must occupy more than 40% of the photograph.
- The application does not work well for small children due to the disproportionate face

Roadmap (in 1 year):
The current features are superrr simple, just preview and take pictures with front and back cameras. In the future, I wanna integrate more cool features:
+ More virtual glasses
+ Photo editor: allows user to select photo from gallery, then wears on virtual glasses
+ Real-time skin / hair segmentation: users can change their skin/hair colors virtually (this requires a custom tensorflow lite model)
The current app uses google ML kit, not sure it works perfectly on many android versions or phones. Please let me know if there are some bugs.
To complete the roadmap, I only need motivation from users (you) at this time.
