Try changing in your user options the forum skin from classic to 2010.
I think classic doesn't have the THANKS button.
Otherwise its located where the previous poster said.

Hi all.
I've searched and searched, but can't find the original files for the lockscreen slider. (I downloaded a modified one that moved it to the bottom, but I just don't like it!)
The 5 files I need are:
\Windows\LS_LockSlider.png
\Windows\LS_LockSlider_Dwn.png
\Windows\LS_LockSliderLong.png
\Windows\LS_LockSliderLong_Dwn.png
\Windows\LS_LockScene_800x480.cpr
Anyone who hasn't modified their lockscreen will have these files.
Would someone be kind enough to supply me with these?
Thanks a lot
I'm bumping this since adding the list of files that I need. Thanks
here ya go.

These are the default files - they don't move the slider down.
Do a search for the files to move it down. you simply copy them into the Windows folder.
can you give us the link for the files to move the slider down?

Well, either I can use the search tool, find the link, and then post it here for you, or you can use the search tool yourself.
Guess which one I've picked

I assumed that if you use these files you would have easy access to the link which we could find them.
Some people in here can be soooo rude, and just put a smiley face at the end. Well my friend good choice not being helpfull. And I ask myself, why did you spent time even replying to me and didnt copy paste the link which you may even have bookmared, no you just had to play smart!
I can smile too

If I'd had a bookmarked link, I would have pasted it. Don't start being rude to me - I wasn't being rude to you. I was only pointing out that you were being lazy. If you had asked me if I had a bookmarked link, I would have said no. You didn't. You asked me for a link.
After your rude response, I'm glad I didn't help you.

Dont wanna start a fight here! But your answer was a bit rude. Either way i searched and didnt find it, thats why I asked you. But you play with words and you use cheap excusses like this: " If you had asked me if I had a bookmarked link, I would have said no. You didn't. You asked me for a link.".
No hard feelings! Sorry I spent your precious time!

I made no excuses. I explained why I said what I said.
Anyway, don't start sentances with "Dont wanna start a fight here! But..."
That means you do. You're not getting one my friend. My answer was not rude - you just took it that way.
Please refrain from posting in this thread any more as it's already coming close to losing any real value to other users. It certainly shouldn't be bumped up the list by false and childish accusations.
Here's the link you asked for.

I couldnt possibly find it because it is in blackstone section.
I wasnt trying to be rude, I just felt that you just didnt want to help.
Thank You
And sorry if I offended you ia any way.

Just a tip for future - if you're looking for something that isn't specific to the particular phone (like it's a windows feature, for example), it's worth doing the search on all forums, in "xda-developers" forum, not "xda-developers > Leo > Leo themes and applications".
Does anyone know how to replace the long press power button on the HD2. I don't like the current app they are using for it. I want to use SlideToShutdown with my HD2. It works perfectly, but it would not map to the power button.
Hi,
here is a new discussion about that ...

Answer is HERE. Search better in future.

Thank you for the answer, but my thread was posted before the thread you specified. So even if I wanted to I wouldn't have found the answer that you posted!

Oh yes so it is My appologies. I just presumed as it was near the top it was recent.
Hi sorry to start a new thread but have tried searching.
I really like the 'pull out tab,' that appears when i use the scroll bar in the HTC Mini theme.
Is there anyway i can enable it in other themes?
Thanks in advance guys.
I think you're talking about the same thing I'm thinking about. If that is the case, then this may help...

Can someone explain (or point me to the link) what it is and how it works?
Is it to GIVE thanks? or to RECEIVE thanks?

When you are signed in to the site, through a computer, you will see a thanks button on the bottom right of each post. You click on it if you think the person has helped you to GIVE thanks always a give.
Errrrr no.....! I have no thanks button visible and never have. Which is probably why the OP mentioned it.
I've always wondered why other people mentioned a button that i clearly don't have
EDIT: Mystery solved. I just tried the new look forum and there is indeed a Thanks button. It's obviously not a feature of the 'XDA Classic' style. I'll just have to thank people the old fashioned way!
You need to be using the XDA2010 theme.
That can be changed from a little drop box on the bottom left corner : )
Hope that helps.
Please let me know when you resolve the issue, will bolt the thread

I dont see any Thanksbutton too. I use the XDA2010 theme. My Browser is the IE8 (on my Work cant use the FireFox)
No thanks
Yup. I've never seen the thanks button either. It must be affecting more people than thought, because some of the threads reach ridiculous sizes from people just saying "thanks!!!11!1!!!".
Does a user need to have a minimum number of posts or something?

Yup, that's it. You need to have a minimum of one post. That being my first post, the button is now there.

I agree! Now I will splurge in giving thanks.
You can't overthank. Five max per day. Its a great way to eliminate all those posts with "thanks!" In it. I haven't seen those in a while. Thanks Svetius!
I'm thanking you all so I can use the thank you botton. This is my first post.
And I'm thanking you for thanking them so I have a post and can thank people too.
This is like the Inception of gratitude!
lol, i think everyone has the knack of thanks now, so you can all thank me for closing this thread
Well... is there? Lol, that's really the whole question.
Advice appreciated.
Later!
