recently as many of us in here some of "good Guys" stole my account of msn to send spam messages and they block my account.
i create a newone, but the pass for the xda account lost.
now my computer has stored the pass and username and saves me for the time.
is it possible any mod of this site to help me remove this e-mail connected with this account and add the newone an send back the pass??
thanks.
I'm sure the mods will gladly help provided you give them the right info pertaining to the account in question. Next time, with security in mind, be mindful of your login details
thanks but the pass i use is one of these they send me,so it's not easy to steal..
Hey there,

I would think most people on xda would know not to post their email address in a forum but I see 11 pages of just that. Do your self a favor & go back & delete your damn email address. Doesn't matter how you did it, except the 2-3 that same 'my xda username & gmail' cause that was genius.
If you do want an invite, you should really PM the dudes in that thread who do have access to send invites, not post your email addy.

I do wanna thank the dev of Cerberus for my invite while I was getting some support for his app.

Thabks you men, i just active my account (about 1 hour ago) for my registration from April, 2013
# MESSAGE FOR MODERATORS #
The following, DISPOSABLE Gmail email addressed were created by me - JUST NOW - for the SOLE purpose of spreading Google Inbox invites. I DO NOT use the addresses, I DO NOT CARE if they get spam, there are solely for generating Google inbox invites. They have passwords NOTHING LIKE my own password, and fake credentials. Please, PLEASE DO NOT remove the email addresses in this post, as - again - they are EMPTY, do not contain ANY contacts or contact info, many thanks.
Here - these two (disposable) Gmail accounts have just been created, and are Google Inbox activated and ready. All you need to do is add one of these accounts to your Android device (turn off ALL SYNC on the temporary account, if I were you), then launch (or install then launch) Google Inbox app ON THE ANDROID DEVICE, then go to Inbox app, and "Settings >> Manage Accounts" and select YOUR Gmail account, then REMOVE the disposable account from your device(s), as YOU are now Google Inbox activated on YOUR account. So, here are the credentials needed:
username #1: [email protected]
password: "sillypassword"
username #2: [email protected]
password: "sillypassword"
If you can't understand what I mean about switching accounts, read this:
http://venturebeat.com/2014/10/28/h...d&utm_campaign=Feed:+Venturebeat+(VentureBeat)
Enjoy
Didn't work for me, as soon as I switch accounts, as directed, within inbox, I get the "you don't seem to have an invite yet" message.

Yep double checked it again, from scratch, no dice. Well thanks for the effort. If anyone DOES get this to work, PM me if you have a moment with some insight.
Hi, I think its best you just delete those accounts as I couldnt login without answer a security question.
I thanked you for trying to help. Keep up the good work.

Switching does not work
The switching trick dosent work although the given ID and password worked.
P.S the first id was already changed by some one
Okay folks, it appears my plan didn't quite work out. The reason I didn't directly say "Hey, I have a load of invites to give away - come and get them" is because:
#1 My personal email address is private and I don't want a flood of strangers begging me for invites, via it.
#2 Refer to #1.
Sorry it didn't work out. I have given one invite out, but I'm sure a little patience will do you ALL good, and strengthen your characters. In this instant gratification world, it's extremely healthy and edifying to learn that you cannot ALWAYS get EVERYTHING at the click of a button. I had to wait a week for my invite (hard life, isn't it) so I suppose many of you will have to do that too. Patience is a virtue, so learn to be virtuous.
God bless, take care.
@glossywhite
do you know gmail has a option that saves the IP address of the most recent computer visited GMAIL ID. It can compromise anybody security. :good:
Anyone that is still interested in getting any invites can feel free to check out the main thread for them located here:
Inbox by Gmail Invite Center
I really wanted to join this site but every time i try to sign in I get error messages telling me my password is wrong or that user name is taken well its taken by me I'm done.
Hi!
I'm not sure exactly what the issue is? If your using the username you created, maybe you've mistyped the password?
You can contact admin here for help with that...

Good luck!

anything else about solution?

Maybe @MikeChannon can help you out with this.
When it comes to dealing with account specific questions and concerns, you should ask an Administrator for assistance.

Not sure what you are talking about.
Is this for your XDA account.... we don't require email verification.
Is this for something else? An app maybe?
Mike
Great question! You're really onto something in your suggestions here, too.
There are a few reasons that someone would use a "double opt-in" or mandatory email address verification. The first one, as you mentioned, is to avoid spam bots. Having spam bots on an email list can cause a few problems, the first being deliverability. If you're sending an email out to a list that contains a number of spam email addresses then you have a high chance of being flagged by email clients and run the risk of your sending domain being blacklisted. This has it's own consequences depending on whether you are running a shared or individual IP. What you also have to think about its the fact that depending on your ESP, you could be paying based on the number of email addresses you're storing in the system. Why would you want to pay to store email addresses that don't exist or could damage your email efforts? The same is true for storing email addresses that are mistyped or intentionally incorrect.

We all know what email verification is, that isn't what anyone is asking.
The issue here is, no one understands exactly what you're asking. No one is asking you to explain what email verification is. They are all asking to what site are you trying to register and the Administrator here has already said that there is no email verification needed for XDA. That was his way of saying that he didn't understand what or why you were asking.
Are you asking about email verification for another website? If so, then you need to contact support for that site because no one here has anything to do with your email or any kind of verification to any website.
In a nutshell, there is nothing anyone here can do for you. That's why no one understands why you came here to ask about it. You're in the wrong place and you're asking the wrong people.
