[Q] ADW Launcher Ex won't allow phone to vibrate always - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Okay I made sure that I search all over Google and on forums before posting this problem. My SGS4G will not stay on vibrate always. I have confirmed that the problem is ADW Launcher Ex. (paid version). I unistalled launcher and vibrate function worked fine but I love the customization on the launcher and would like to know if there's a fix before I delete it all together. Here's the difficult part. When I go to settings and change to vibrate always then it vibrates a few times with messages then automatically switches back to vibrate "Only in silent mode". Sometimes my calls won't even ring. Please help. This is extremely frustrating. Is there a fix or at least another app that is just as good or better than ADW Launcher Ex for UI customization.
Thanks

Yeah, go into homescreen settings and turn off the auto-rotate function in your ADW settings.

Conflict with widgetlocker and handcent

Hi.
I recently installed widgetlocker and am loving it.. I use handcent sms and whenever I receive a message, i unlock to read the message via the popup and reply from the popup itself.
Now the problem is that (when widgetlocker is on) whenever I try to type in the popup edit box, whatever I input isn't showing up. This isn't the case when widgetlocker is disabled and the native lockscreen is functional.
Could someone please confirm this? I need to know if its the same for others as well.
I'm having the exact same issue with Widget Locker/Handcent. Did you find a solution?
Unfortunately, I haven't. Which is why I posted it here looking for leads
I've done abit of testing, looks like it only happens when:
1. Widget locker is set to be on top of the sms popups
2. Popup is viewed from when the screen is off
It works if I have the popup appear above widget locker, or if I have the screen turn on when an sms is received in Handcent. But if the screen turns off and I have to unlock it, then it doesn't work.
So it looks like the bug occurs when going from a screen off state to widget locker to the popup. At the moment I have it appear over the widget locker lock screen but would ideally like to unlock before seeing the popup.
Exactly! I can confirm the exact same scenario. I wonder why others using the two app combo haven't noticed it
Are you guys (or gals) using a different home launcher? I used to have this problem when using Launcher Pro Plus. I have since gotten a different phone, and am using ADW. It works as it should, now.
I have the same issue. Anyone gets a solution yet?

[Q] Question about WidgetLocker/ADW notifier

Hi,
I have question about Widgetlocker and ADWnotifier. Is anyone can get these work to show up count in lock screen? I use Go Launcher Pro. But Widgetlocker documentation said ADWnotifier works fine without ADWlauncher, how ever I can not get it work...
(Go launcher notification works fine in home screen but not in wideget locker lock screen. )
Any one using this?
Edit:- May be I am wrong earlier, It seems working though now. Still like to hear from others. [Earlier I has GoDialer, GoSMS on lock screen now I placed default dialer, sms application option from widgetlocker options which seems working)
Exact same setup. Go Launcher Pro, Widget Locker, and ADW Notifier. Works fine. If you run into problems again, just change the icons/apps on the lockscreen.

How to kill TouchWiz lockscreen widgets while keeping Dashclock? (4.3)

Evening, amigos!
Just two days ago I flashed a custom 4.3 ROM onto my S3 (before I was running 4.1.2). Running perfectly, no crashes, etc.
However, I noticed that when I get a missed call, a TouchWiz lockscreen widget comes on with a big, ugly, white box. It would be useful, except that I use DashClock for lockscreen notifications, and the TW widget makes itself my "home" lockscreen, and I can't trash it like the other lockscreen widget screens. There is no settings in the system settings to disable these baked-in widgets entirely, as far as I can see.
Is there any way I can disable this widget from being created (perhaps through the stock dialer?)? It only happens for missed calls, but that's that's probably because I use non-stock apps for other "notifiable" messages, like Textra for SMS, Google Voice for voicemail, etc.
I do have Xposed Framework installed with quite a few modules (including the one that allows me to use DashClock in the first place), so if there is a module available that will do this, I can easily go that route.
Many thanks!
Happens to me all the time. If i miss a call the TW screen won't go away until i reboot. Very annoying.

I'm not sure if it's totally the same for you, but when I go into the call log (whether it's in the stock dailer, or Contacts+, which is what I use), the missed call notification clears from the notification shade, and the TW missed call widget doesn't appear anymore (I just tried it).
My problem is that I don't want it to appear in the first place since I use DashClock.
Oh how I wish TouchWiz didn't exist...

Always On Display keeps showing missed call counter

Self explanatory.
If I've missed a call, it shows on my AoD (which is good). But even when I clear the notification and/or go to my call log and clear the counter within the launcher itself, it still shows on the AoD. Only a system restart seems to clear it.
Everything is stock on my S7.

Didn't have that problem myself but mine just doesn't work at all. Could yours have something to do with the dialer?

Quite possible, but not sure how. I use Nova Launcher and everything else is stock.

For what it's worth I'm also using Nova launcher and seeing the same issue on a new GS7.
Drives me nuts!
Doesn't it go away after going on your call logs area, or does it require a reboot?
I cant remember what I did

I've had the same issue using Nova Launcher with a Galaxy S7 Edge. It turns out it's just a conflict between the launcher and TouchWiz itself, if you go to Settings > Applications > Default Applications > Home and change it from Nova back to TouchWiz, give it a chance to load up and everything, tap on the dialler to clear the little number that appears over the icon, wait for that number to disappear then make Nova your default home launcher again and hey presto the little notification on the always-on display will be gone.

Thank you also had the same issue with my Galaxy S7 Edge with Nova Launcher ( Paid Version ). Worked exactly like you said
- Go to Settings -> Applications -> Default
- There select HOME and change it from Nova Launcher to TouchWiz.
- Check your default caller app ( that green one that comes with samsung ), delete all logs for safety
- Go back to Home as described above and change back to Nova Launcher
Thanks for Asauz!!! was driving me nuts this issue
