Looking for Youtube latest cab (With user login)

Hi Guys. Sorry if this post is repeated but I just couldn't find any post on this.
Initially, i had a rom which has the youtube with user login. After cooking another rom, it goes back to the stock youtube (Ver 2.6 build 1922.4122). Thing is, i am liking the current rom i'm using.
Issit possible to get that particular youtube cab w user login? Thanks in advance guys!

Did some fondling on the HD2. Currently the device had the stock youtube. What i did was i download the generic version (from m.youtube/app) and save and installed the cab on storage card. It seems that i have both stock youtube (the 2.6 for hd2) and the 2.4.4 version. (download from youtube direct) Do take note that the latter have the username function.
Unless there is another alternative (like the one i initially requested) i hope this helps. Sorry if this repeats any thread. thanks.

Okay the new version is nice but what happened to the HD option? For some reason this replaced my original YouTube. Not cool. Not digging this version.

Yeah, just realized that this version doesn't have high quality playback myself. That really sucks. Really was looking forward to this version since it allowed access to subscriptions...

Thats weird. I have my stock youtube (2.6) running as well as the generic version (2.4) (w/o hd but w/ login) which i installed it in storage card, so it didnt replace anything.
Like said, unless, someone had seen the cab which has the user login meant for HD2, i believe i can only recommend such.. i do apologise if it doesn't work as you've intended. It certainly is working on mine.

Don't worry...u can have both. The original one is still in the Windows directory, u just need to recreate the shortcut.

The new one has terrible video quality. it's a shame because the other features are great.

[Q] New Gtab may be used? OOB issues.

Need some help please.
I purchased a "new gtab" from sears.But doubt it is NEW. Have a few questions to see if I am correct.
1: Box wasnt TAPED, but NO finger prints (hehe) - not conclusive
2: Already had current OTA update.
3. Went to ESfile explorer, there is a 12/27 clockworkmod folder and a titanium backup folder
>> arern't those from mods? OR does the OTA create them? Is there a way to tell, ie., file dates, names etc?
I want to take back to Sears for at least a demo discount since MY WARRANTY is "technically voided" before I ever tried to mod. (assuming this was previously mod'd)

3. If it had a clockwork and Titanium directory then it was a return. It didn't come that way from the factory
First....Do a factory reset
Second.....make an empty file named "calibration.ini" Place it on the root of a micro sdcard. Place micro sdcard in GTab. Reboot GTab. Don't touch screen until it boots completely. Delete calibration file.
Second....Uninstall Flash and reboot then reinstall flash from here and reboot.

Re. 3rd question: I've only/always had stock TNT on my Gtab, and that keyboard behavior isn't "normal" from my experience. Are you sure you're not touching an area outside of a text box (just asking..)?
As posted above, those dirs are not on stock.
I would return it and get a new one, which is what you presumably paid for, or, at the least get them to give you the returned unit price as with sears outlet, $279.

I did nothing different (maybe turned off/on) and now the keyboard in XDA search function works YAY.

Glad your keyboard is OK.
Do you mean YouTube using a browser and Flash? I'm not a videophile, but doesn't seem choppy at all. Some videos are not so 'clear', but the pro ones are OK.

Oh. Just tried the YouTube APP from market, tried 3 different vids, and yes, all were choppy.

Hi, I just got a Sensation a couple of days ago and there have been a few problems I hope you guys could help me with.
Firstly, my Android Market only shows a few of the apps that there should be. Loads of apps such as the launchers or Angry Birds for example aren't showing up. When I open the Market from my desktop it says that these apps cannot be installed in my country (UAE) when i have friends here with other Android phones with the very same apps.
Secondly, whenever I play a video on the phone it plays fine for about a minute and then the audio switches off and it only comes back if I skip scenes. I don't if this is a fault with my phone or maybe a wrong format I'm using, can you guys recommend a converter?
Thanks for any help, it's much appreciated.

I do not know the answer to your first question, but I would assume that your friends either have a different ROM flashed to their phone that allows them to bypass country restrictions, or they have downloaded the APK's from somewhere else, then 'adb push'ed them to their device... Someone more knowledgeable than me can answer that one...
The second question regarding video converters... I have used an application called Handbrake in the past to re-encode my video files, and it has worked wonders. I highly recommend it. Link: http://handbrake.fr/

You can try to find the apk for the apps you want and install them outside of Market by copying the apk to your SD card then installing from there (be sure to check the allow non-market applications box under the applications settings) this should (I think) bypass any country restrictions. If you look around I'm sure you can find the apks you want. If not you could probably make a request for certain apps and someone can upload the apk for you.

Anywhere . You can, for example create new folder - "Apps" on yours sd and paste applications there.

You can use the web-market to install apps. No idea why it doesn't appear on the phone's market app, but it should appear on the web market.

For the second problem: what video format are you using? Try *.mp4 or *.avi and see if they work Also, what resolution is the video?

You can try another video player such as MoboPlayer to see if you have converted your video ok.

I also use HandBrake converter.
There is an app called android market enabler "lets you access paid apps from countries where paid apps are not yet available". But it requires you to root your phone which is not currently possible on our phone. This could be what your friends are using.

I just copied some random avi files I had on my desktop, which gave me the problem above. Haven't tried using converter yet but I'll give it a shot now.

I am just waiting a software solution to turn my Sensation S-off and install a "market enabler".

make a folder on the root of your storage card & name it notifications & put the sounds in there.
for the weather sound you can disable that in the weather app or somewhere like that

Hi everyone.
I want to ask about program called EReader that's placed in most ROMs for EVO 3D and in ROM Cool-ICS-v13-EvoG too.
I want to know how can I install it to other device?
When I copying it from system folder and trying to install on my ZT-282 C91 Upgrade or other android device it's giving me error and tells that application was not installed.
Please help me with this trouble. On the next week I need to fly far away from civilization and there only books will be available and I'd like to read them on my 10" pad but not on 4.5" smartphone.

Some apps have a data file as well. Maybe you should try copying the data folder over too.

The second and third are Aldiko ereaders. Mirrors of eachother. Just use the official second one. Or if it doesn't work, the third one. If you are not happy, use the first one.

And you should get an APK. That is an App. Put it on your sd then in your 10". Then use a file manager to install it. If you do not have one, install astro from the market. Then go into your sd with that app. Click on the file then install.
Anyway, back to your prob. You will have to copy the directory (ereader) from the system. And maybe the DATA folder.
It will not be compatible the way you did it because they are two different devices. Copying the system whole will not work.

If its com.htc.ereader then it is probably an HTC sense application which we all know cannot be brought to a non sense ROM.
And that ROM you linked is sense 3.6. So I'm putting big money on the table its a sense app
