I completely understand. Keeping up with a theme is very time intensive. I haven't checked but you only theme girl mdpi it did you do hdpi as well?

Trying to install dolphin launcher pro dropbox and tether using root explorer. After installation process says app not installed I've tried removing the version already installed and tried overwriting them same response any ideas am using aospcmod19 DH theme and DH themed gapps no other mods

did you remove them thru your manage apps or thru root explorer either way you should be able to boot into recovery and erase dalviche then reboot and install should be flawless as for twitter it will be up in two seconds bro

I uninstalled the apps I had with titanium backup. Use root explorer to install. Tried recovery and wiping dalvick cache then tried installing again still same message app not installed

try this and let me know hit settings go to manage apps and see if there still there it dont make sense if anything push them with adb
so none of them are installing
Correct the apps ice tried all say not installed looked in manage apps they are not there I have 78mb free internal memory so I know is not me being short on room... idle what to say I could push but if they are supposed to install like a normal app thats the way I want to install not a fan of using adb commands I always have typos they look awesome in the screenies though good work

Running CM7 and not having a properly themed gingerbread music player bugged me; so I decided to change that Introducing my gingerbread themed MIUI Music app! This should work on Android 2.1 and above, but it is themed to match the style of android 2.3, so this is perfect for roms like CM7, or for Gingerbread Themes. Feel free to use this in your theme, so long as proper credit is given! Also, there are two versions; the first is with the equalizer removed, and is much faster than if I let the equalizer in there. The second will be a bit slower, but it has the nice equalizer graphics on the now playing screen

This is a port of my cm6.1 theme now for CM7
I redid a few images, mainly the battery and a few odds and ends....themed out Music, Genie, DeskClock and Power control widgets.
there are a few more things i'd like to do with this....
*edit* now fixed and with only 1 apk
Instructions:
1. Download apk
2. Place on the root of your sd card
3. Using a file explorer, install "alpha7_signed_11.apk"
4. Open theme chooser
5. Select alpha7
6. You will get this error: "Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size." Hit apply anyway
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy!

Nice looking work! I have a thought about the not installing correctly, the theme chooser apps only seem to render their fullness if in /system/app, if left in /data/app they seem to be less complete. I use androidian, and if I run it as a data app it doesn't apply the .png for the dropdown header, and if it's in system app, it does anyway, hope that helps...

the problem is the theme Chooser. up till a certain nightly or RC, themes would show in the theme Chooser. now, they wont show but the number of themes installed will change.

did you install the second apk after the first?
It wouldn't let me. I install the 1st apk and when I try to install the 2nd it asks me to launch the app or uninstall... like a if the 2 apk's were the same.

Ugh, then I have to uninstall a bunch of other stuff that it comes with. I run a very minimal ship here, anything I don't use within the first week or so of flashing a ROM, I delete.

SOLVED INSTALLATION ISSUES!!! UPDATED TO V2.0!
Strolling though the market I came across a free launcher called Secret Launcher now it's not the best launcher but hey, I used its APK to clone our old 1.6 launcher which oddly enough I missed lol
Remember, I did not create this app so expect no support for the app, I just themed it from our old 1.6 launcher, the new xperia S launcher, a few icons I made (ex: folder), left a few icons from the original app because they don't do much. If there is something to do with the theme, post it here so I can fix it. Any suggestions for my next projects are also welcome.

Will add a tutorial on how to add your own apks later. You can do it yourself if you are comfortable with aroma installer.
Include in the tutorial how to remove apps too.

great idea i`m searching something like mass apk installer, guess this will do the job
i`ve wanted to just pack apks in zip and flash it, but since i`m programming noob, i`m not able to do it...

I'm terribly sorry about that. The calibration I've given is for my Desire Z. Would someone be interested in obtaining the calibration data for your HTC Desire HD?
Replace the aroma-config in this directory /META-INF/com/google/android/aroma-config with the file i've attached.
When you flash the pack with this file you will be prompted to calibrate your touchscreen. Please follow the instructions. After that you will get a result which will look like this calibrate("1.9235","27","1.1262","34","yes"); . of course with different values.
Note: Remove the .txt extension to the attached file before you place it in the pack.

Is there at all a way to have Aroma install titanium backups? With data? Long shot I know but I'm sure the sky's the limit with our devs

Is there any way to install those files thru recovery which are backed up by TB without restoring application one by one? That i could just flash a single zip and all the apps which i had in previous rom is installed with their data?

Search for app2zip on the market. But restoring all app data onto a new rom is a bad idea. You are bound to face issues which the OP of your rom might not be able to trace and fix(actually he is not liable to fix issues you create).

Its a flashable zip. Containing a bunch of basic apps, so that u don't have to install them one at a time. The cool thing is u use the aroma installer to select which apps u want to install.
If u mix Taco Bell hot sauce, with Ramen noodles, it taste just like poverty.
Planned to add:
Titanium backup and take out the alternative..
Few games angry birds original, etc..
Xda developers FREE version not paid
And ill take any suggestions

Some tweaks?
Maybe make an eraser script to get rid of any tweaks included in a rom and give options to flash alternatives.

@Ireyes the aroma installer has been updated so that screen calibration is no longer necessary. Try to get the latest binaries for your next update

With apps include a few of each perhaps, unless you wanna keep it under a certain size.
If you're including rom toolbox, that has root file manager no?
with the tweaks there are those already out there, but you'll need to get permission from the developers, just like when you bake them into your rom.
it wouldn't be too hard to bake them into the updater-script once you get permission; you'd have the init.d scripts which get flashed or whatnot
there's an aroma q+a thread which has a lot of info on compatible edify script and aroma commands etc if you haven't checked it out yet. If you need any help shoot me a pm, as I was gonna do something similar to this, but also there are other things in the android development thread along the same lines as well
Saw this on the portal and what an awesome project this is. The article said it was only for the EVO 4G, what the chances or foreseeable difficulties of porting this to other devices...other than device specific apps.

then open ddms.bat and plug in any android device.
when it says the android device connected you click on the "device" option on the tools and click screen capture.
