[Q] Status Bar Battery Percentage - Galaxy Tab Themes and Apps

Hey guys
I'm wondering if there is a way to have battery percentage on the stock battery icon just like the one in cm6 as I dun like having a battery indicator showing up in the notification area.
Can anyone help or teach me how to make one?
I'm currently using P1000ZHKA1

The best you might get at the moment is the Battery Indicator free on the market. Otherwise I use great widget called Battery Widget on my homescreen and it works good.

Have you tried Battery Left? It has a 1x1 or a 1x2. It also gives readings in 1% increments.

Battery percentage for statusbar?

Is there an app that replaces the current battery meter for one with percent? Or will I need a 2nd battery meter?
Edit: a new Rom I'm using has this feature...

There's no app I know of that does that but many Roms have the ability to do that in their settings

you make one by uploading you framework-res.apk to UOT kitchen or i can make u one if u explain what u want and what rom u have

Alternatively you can use circle battery widget. Used it in my old D2 days where the only battery percentage you could get in the status bar was in ten percent increments.
Ok ill check that out...and I'm using the latest pure speed rom if you can make me one simply with the percentage over the battery meter

[Q] One percent battery mod

Is there a mod to show 1% battery increments? I'm really not a big fan of the 10% increments.

I'm not sure about having a battery mod in the status bar with 1% increments (beyond my knowledge), but Circle Battery Widget (free from the market) will show increments of 1.

It is built into the system this way so circle battery only displays 10% increments
Edit: I'm wrong thanks. Using app now

I'm using an app called "Battery Notifier" (there's about 5 of them ) that also shows 1% increments. It's too bad it can't go in the right side of the notification bar.
If any developer decides to accept the challenge, the way that the 1%-increment apps work is by reading the file at "/sys/devices/platform/cpcap_battery/power_supply/battery/charge_counter" and it holds the exact percentage of the battery.

you can use minimal text widget for 1% battery incriments
It's weird because Circle Battery Widget shows 1% increments, but SiMi Clock's battery widget only shows 10% =/
My wife's Motorola Admiral shows in 1% increments, the first Motorola i've seen that does that stock! I would love to see a functioning 1% mod, but after the fustercluck of inaccuracy the 1% mods had, i'll pass. Ive been getting killer battery life with this thing!
I've tried several apps to no avail - they all show only 10% increments.

You will have to wait for a theme unless you wanna try Rom toolbox...I think it might give you that option in it

I prefer an app called "Battery Monitor" (don't do a search on the android market because it will pull up 10 different apps w/ the same/similar name). It's right here and shows 1% increments.

Are you the developer of this app?

Can someone recommend a good, simple battery widget for CM7?

As you know, CM7 has no battery level meter, just the icon, so just curious what some of you use. Someone told me one they use all the time, but for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it. Thanks!

You can get it foe free in the xda forum or buy it for $2.89

Dual Battery Bar

So I talked with the dev of Team Battery Bar app and he's going to release a dual battery bar! So it will show the tablet battery level in one battery bar and then under that it'll show the docking keyboard batter level in another battery bar. I'm not sure how much screen space he's gonna use(guessing 1 or 2 dp per bar), but that should be pretty sweet! I'd actually much more prefer having a battery bar than the dual battery widget. I dont like using widgets and I don't like my notification center all cluttered up.
Just thought I'd let y'all know, it's coming!

Nice :good:
When it's released, please write a reply in this tread. I've just subcribed to this tread, that way I wil know when it's time to download the Team Battery Bar app.
