EDIT:
You have to login and click UPGRADE now instead of this link now! Then choose the thunderbolt! I use firefox and it still shows these prices, but it might be because I didn't clear my cookies. I cleared my cookies in IE and it didn't show the prices I mentioned before unless you go to My Verizon home and click Upgrade phone under my Device.
I ordered it 1 year for $229
They have 2 year for $200
They were showing the full price as $449 earlier, but now it shows $600 for me
But at this time the 1 year and 2 year prices are as I stated above in firefox and IE

I did. Chose to upgrade my phone, $249.99 2yr. Think I'll just hit up the local store instead.
I got the same deal, I was on the phone with a VZW rep and she said she didn't know why I got the price I did.... She couldn't match it from her side, so I went ahead and ordered the phone online.
I was able to order through my company web portal this morning. Got it on a 1 year for $229.99. Showed up as $319 on the general public VZW page though.
The difference would probably be if your due for your NE2. purchased mine for $229 / 1 yr contract. This line WAS due for it
Btw: my price came up at $149 for a 2 yr contract. Guessing this is my last $50 from them though

Awesome!
It still shows in both places for me with firefox when I login, I had to do the login stuff and upgrade phone with IE
it only shows this if you get a discount through a job
im getting my for 50 dollars but i just looked anywayz , says 249 for 2 yrs & 319 for 1 one for me
I got in for the $199 for 2 years
Do you guys think value wise its more worth it to go with the 1yr at 229 since you'd be up for another subsidized phone price in a year? My employer's vzw site has the 229 1yr active.. should I do it? Currently my order is placed with amazon for $180 shipped (no sales tax which is another 40 dollars in savings), but I have to wait till Monday to get it
Thoughts? Thanks!
The other thing is that after a year, I seriously doubt ulimited LTE will still be 30/month so I feel like the 1 year kinda could screw you?
Says my order shipped, but shows no tracking yet!
i tried going through my verizon account online and selecting the upgrade option, still showed the $249 for the 2 year contract.
but then i tried my employer's portal to the verizon store online and got the $229/1 year and $199/2 year contract prices. guess for whatever reason my account isn't fully synced to show my employer's affiliation. hmmm this could be a good way to get the tbolt for cheap.....i think i'll go check one out in person at verizon and then decide.
Do you guys think that after 1 year when you have to sign a new contract... will you still be able to pay the $30 unlimited lte? hmmm crapshoot

I really want the Nexus S 4G when it comes out. I don't have any upgrades available.
The full retail price I expect to be $550 through Sprint. My thought is that my best option would be to cancel my current line, pay the ETF ($160 for me right now) and then immediately get a new line and get the Nexus for $200. This would be a total cost of $360.
I guess my other option would be to add a new line to my account, get the Nexus for $200, then cancel my previous line and pay the ETF.
Any other ideas? I just want to get the Nexus for as cheap as possible.

See image 2 posts above for $199.99 with 2 year upgrade / $399.99 full retail price.
Cheapest way is to sell EVO 4g for $200 by nexus for $399 plus tax.

The nexus will be $549.99 outright and $199.99 w/2yr agreement. Either way you go it can become rather expensive and I think the best way would to be add a line to your account and cancel the other. You will pay $200 for the nexus but you should be able to get about $250 or $300 outta your Evo as long as it's still in good condition. But that all depends apon the ETF!

This is correct.
The $399 refers to new two-year price or price with upgrade.
http://www.wirefly.com/eCommerce/phones/?&FilterByCarrier=68&mode=&
You can generally get a phone through Wirefly for the contract price without resigning or upgrading. Sell the current phone then put a few bucks more with it and you're all set.

Sprint technically won't let you ETF and sign a new contract and get the 2 year instant discount. Usually they require a 30-day period in order to be considered a "new" customer. Your best bet is to add a new line and then cancel the other line and pay ETF. You'll pay $199.99 for the new phone, $160.00 for ETF, and then sell your EVO for $250-300. Overall, shouldn't cost more than $60-70 to switch phones unless I'm missing something. You WILL be extending your time in shackles with Sprint for another 2 years though.
Myself, I plan on dropping Sprint all together (3 lines on a Family share plan) this summer and going with a local GSM provider. I'll be saving $60 a month and still get unlimited calling, txting, data. Saving $60 a month means I can subsidize myself and buy my own unlocked phones.

It's $179.00 on amazon wireless
amazon wireless is selling it for $179.00 and you don't need a mail in rebate for that price. This price is for upgrades and new plans. Just thought I would share that. I personally hate mail in rebates. Oh, and also free two day shipping and no sales tax. So yeah.
Amazon is listing it as back ordered. FYI...you will pay an ETF of $150 with Amazon if you cancel your account within 180 days. That's on top of T-Mobile's $200.

I pay $9.50 or so a month for unlimited talk with the [email protected] service. I have a corp discount rate though; normally I think its around $12.00 a month? The service for new customers has been discontinued for about a year now but T-Mobile still provides it for standing customers.
When i purchased my vibrant through amazon i had to change my data plan. As soon as I activated the phone I was able to call tmobile and tell them that I wanted my old data plan and they switched me back. They really know how to treat their paying customers.

Hi guys
Would it be worth going from Samsung Galaxy SII to a Moto. It seems like a grea but Im not sure its worth it. Is the camera better or worse then
current GSII.. Don't need it for music youtube alot..
Thx guys.
Well Moto G is an upgrade from the GSII, specially if you consider that the Motorola hardware and bechmarks are compared to the GSIII, although Moto G is 175$ cheaper. The only thing that you would miss upgrading is the camera, the GSII camera is pretty good even these days.
Touch control the only bit
It is worth it, cheap, unlocked and feels great in my hands if I could install touch control I would no miss my nexus 4 at all. The battery seems to be better than the nexus 4 too.
I say go for it.

Another Canadian user here -- depending on where you are, you can buy an unlocked Moto G from the US website (can't post a link, but google "Moto G" and it's the first or second result), as long as you can get it shipped to a US address. Then it's just a hop across the border away.
Other thing is, I don't know about Telus, but I did call Koodo when this phone came out and the rep said that if I bought the phone from them, it'd be SIM-locked to Koodo. I see that you're on Telus, but if having an unlocked device is important to you, you might want to get it elsewhere.

I bought from Koodo for $200 outright, plus tax, the week it came out. The Telus stores refused to sell outright, and when I pushed it I was told I could buy outright from the Telus website, or wait a few months. A 2nd store said they could sell outright in a week or so.
I think Google/Motorola's deal requires carriers to sell outright if asked, which is why Telus website outright buys had to be allowed.
Here in Canada we're SUPPOSED to have new regulations in place requiring carriers/sellers to unlock them on demand, more or less immediately I think, with no charge, if you buy a phone outright.
That's my read on the new regs, I'm not sure how right I am or how well that's going yet.
Anyway, it's only a few bucks to get an unlock code on EBay or wherever.

Is ti worth paying $275 cad for it with in store activation.Activation is $35. Either that or Telus charges $60 to take device without activation.

Do not get it from Telus, try going to FutureShop, Best Buy, or The Mobile Shop. Buy it from Koodo on a $150 tab, activate, get $100 in gift cards, then cancel after 30 days. It's a lot cheaper and you don't need to sign a conttract.

Neither or those stores are close but I live in a smaller town, with none of big box stores anywhere close buy.. Telus lady said either I pay $35 in store activation cause of new sim and such or $60 to leave store with phone and sim and activate at home..

That definitely sucks. Buy it direct from Koodo with free shipping for $150?

Damn, I guess they have switched to in-store only pricing.
For the money that Telus wants, I would look into getting it from the US via Amazon or Motorola. It should be unlocked and you could get the GSM or international version.
I'd say the Moto G is a definite upgrade over the S2.
Been looking at ebay I may just bite the bullet and pay $200 for phone $10 for sim and activation fee. I guess Moto G is considered a contract phone as live chat says I should not pay either of those fee's.

If you're in the States, jump on this! Grabbed a neo + 2 filler accessories and paid 170 after tax. Ship free 2-4 days. I think the Gear 2 comes out to 230ish before tax.

I take it you have to order three accessories to get the discount, but where are you seeing the discount, or is there a code to enter?
I don't see anything about this on their web page: https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/appcessories.html

It was automatic for me after adding 3 accessories, no code needed. I added 2 5 dollar accessories to the order.
thank you so much! I got it to go through and saved $100 with the accessories i selected. I wonder how long before ATT catches on!
I am interested in the black Gear 2 but it and the orange one are out of stock. Only the gold one shows to be available.
Works good I have the black already but the gold one was only thing available so bought one also. Might just sell it or return it. But I do not see the bands no where must be waiting on to see how many they sell to promote the color bands
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Confirmed working, now tempted to get this watch for the same price as a used Gear 1...
But will there be any development?
I don't just want a watch, I WANT A TOY, lol.
And XDA is my hobby
It works ! Got my Gear 2 Neo yesterday and ordered Gear 2 for extra 25 bucks than the Neo.
They appear to have to in black, too

It did work for me to when I checked the cart. Gear 2 at $75 off would have been great, but I already ordered mine at $50 off when we ordered a S5 for my son. He is getting Galaxy Gear 1 that i have had since October. Love the original and have high hopes for development of new Gear 2.
SWEET!
just ordered mine, gold was the only one available, plus two 5 dollar wall chargers for a whopping 150.
Nice find and thanks for sharing!
Anyone got canceled ? They canceled my Gear 2 Gold Brown because they are unable to verify my information ????? I don't get it. Reordered and waiting
To kcttocs: did you mean $250? The savings on the Gear 2 at 25% is $75, so the lowest price of the watch itself would be $225. They seem to be honoring this; I never got an order confirmation but I did get a note saying the order is processing, and the online status shows the same. It looks like the gold brown watches are starting to become available; T-Mobile's site shows them available, though Samsung, AT&T, and Best Buy still show "coming soon" or a shipment date of a couple weeks out.

Thank you so much for this info! I went to bestbuy which is where I got my gear 2, and showed them a screenshot of a possible order from at&t showing the 25% off. They didn't even notice about the filler accessories and refunded me $77.65! Then when I left the store someone offered me $145.00 for my Galaxy Gear 1! That brings the cost of my new watch down to $92 which includes tax. Not bad for something released just this week! I am too happy! Thanks again!

Mine hasn't been cancelled (yet?). I ordered last night around midnight and got a message at 9:30am today saying my order had been processed. Ironically it says "your order cannot be changed or canceled at this time" - so we'll see what happens. If you're placing a lot of orders they may suspect fraud; if you search online there are a number of people complaining about AT&T order cancellations with no resolution. I suspect it's a security issue - possible reasons could include mistyping your credit card/billing details, having an IP address generated from a datacenter (if you're using a proxy), or credit card declined.
Thanks for the tip, might have to check it out!
Any idea when this deal will expire? Online chat says they should have more black Gear 2s in 5-7 days.

Same thing here, I called 611, they said something was input incorrectly and I needed to go to an AT&T store to validate who I am. What a croc! so I drive to the store, they don't have a clue and suggested I call in and then they will validate I am me, then they tell the store clerk to order it for me, the store clerk says they don't know anything about the discount and can't help me and advise me to go back online and do it again. Seriously why even drive to the store, total run around. The catch I think is because I am an employee, when I log into my account it takes me to the premier website and the discount is not there, but if I don't log in and order from AT&T the discount is there. Maybe I need to not give my phone# and e-mail that's on my account. If I get cancelled a second time that's going to be my method. I even used a different credit card just incase my card denied for some reason or another fraud alert or something.
And I originally said I ordered for 150, my mistake, it was about 250...

Did they charge your card? Mine has been cancelled 2 times. But first time I was logged in and I show balance due (its with collection dept) and second time i think they used my shipping address as my billing. Trying again.

Curious, I was forced to use my billing address for my shipping address when ordering and there was no other option because the online store said it was a security issue. Maybe this is what happened with the verification issues?
Set to receive mines today, it'll be here whenever the mail carrier drops it off. Will come back to update once officially received.
