Any idea when ViperROM [SynErgY] might be ready?

Great job guys!! keep up the good hard work!!

If I partition my sd card using the tool from ccm, will that wipe my sd card or just resize seperate ext and swap partitons and then format? I tied just flashing the kernel and it wouldn't go past the samsung screen so I'm guessng the partitioning is my problem.

Anyone else that flashed this having any reboots? I tried running smartbench 2010 and it rebooted on the tunnel. Then it locked up on the 2nd try at the tunnel. I've also had 3 reboots so far.

I'm pretty sure it wipes it. Back it up first.

Sorry for stupid question; do I have to partition the SD card? I'm gonna try and flash without doing that, so I'm just wondering why that is a necessary step?

Lol don't be ...if the kernel doesn't work for you, you can just flash another kernel and be back to normal. If a kernel doesn't work, it doesn't require odin to fix it... you just need to flash another kernel

I'm running at 1.3 and had no issues howeve I know there are some picky phones that just don't like it...try running 1.2 see if u still get reboots....I couldonly hope for a "unicorn" phone that could handle everthing lol

I would say to reflash, then let it sit for 5-10 minutes before you start "pounding" on it, lol. Usually if it has a chance to sit and properly build its cache, these issues go away. Again.....USUALLY, lol.

You would need to flash a kernel. My sig has links to them. Wipe cache and davik before flash also nandroid. They have issues like random reboots and shutdowns. Unity has one at 1.7ghz roman has kanged at 1.5 and an undervolt as well.
sent from my RuBiX infused MT4G Slide using xda premium
Most importantly, don't forget to make a nandriod back up. Believe me, you might regret it if you don't. Also Unity's V1 kernel is way more stable than their V2 (I've tried them both), ultimately, you will have to experiment and see which one you like best.

Install ROM
Restore apps and settings from MIUI backup
NOTE: THIS ROM IS FULLY OPTIMIZED and also includes the latest GAPPS.

Quick question when I partition my SD card through clockwork mod recovery it doesn't give me the option of choosing ext 4 or 3 it ask for the ext size and swap after I choose those two it starts partition, takes like 2-3 mins then says done.
