I have a great dislike for my HD7 and I have hardly used it, good as new.
Anyone want to swap it for their nexus S?
good luck buddy...
Windows phones are really hard to get rid of...
best bet is to sell it on the market, then buy a new Nexus S

Got the chance of updating to one and have been looking for reports, advice feedback on this phone. Is there going to be a section for this phone ?
Thanks
Probably not as it's not an HTC device even though it is branded an XDA.
Is this a HTC only forum then ?
Don't know about that but i do know they have decided not to create a section for things like the Samsung Omnia. But then that is neither HTC nor an XDA.
Seems fair enough, they do say somewhere its HTC only, just read it, be to much if they had to do every windows phone out there. Oh well the Zest is on the way, lest see what it's like in the flesh.
I wanted to go with HTC HD 2 as its the most developer friendly phone but its hard to get one now.
SO i was having thoughts what might be the second best phone if its not HD2?
we all know Android sucks at many areas and so does windows phone.
But dual boot to both of them can be a really good idea.
So i am mostly interested in ICS and Mango dual booting phone.
Verdict guys..
afaik the only device capable of dualbooting now is HD2
For an experience almost as smooth as wp7 and as open as android, buy the Nokia n9. Not much support these days but it has the basics.

Hi there,
so recently my One M8 had to be repaired and I was stuck for days with an unbelievably slow xperia active from a friend. I thought, well if any day I could need a replacement phone, say for parties of just when I don't want to take the M8, what would I get? I would like it to be around iphone-4-size and easy to unlock and flash with cyanogenmod resp. still updated with new cyanogenmod versions. It should just run somewhat fluently and have a bit internal storage for the most important apps. What would you recommend?
First thing that came to my mind was a used galaxy s2. still a bit too expensive for my needs.
Hi there,
The best way to get opinions on this would be to ask in this thread:
> General discussion > Questions and Answers > **DEVICE SUGGESTION THREAD** -- Not sure what device to buy? Ask here!
Good luck
My contract is up in a few months and i wanna get a new one i currently have a Nexus 5. was thinking of the new N5 but its rumored to be the same but updated and not a real jump forward with the camera. i don't want a S5 i don't like the look of the M9. Was thinking of a Note 5 but idk how the camera is going to be. Any ideas
Hi, @android.4.0,
A much better and proper place for this question to be posted would be the designated device recommendation thread. If you re-post your question there, you'll almost definitely get more answers from people who know what they're talking about.
Thanks!

(sorry if this doesn't belong here... wasn't sure where to put it)
The inlaws are looking to get their first smartphone (they're currently still using flip phones!).
They want something they can get pics of and vid chat with the grandkids.
Despite my advice that they get the best phone they can afford now since they likely wouldn't be upgrading for quite some time, they insist on getting the cheapest possible option that will do what they want.
That said, while I'm on VZW myself, I don't really keep up at all with the lower end phones... I have no idea what phone(s) in this spectrum would be the best for them.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to the best free/super cheap VZW phone for them? I want them to stick with Android (rather than apple) since that's what I know and can therefore best help them if/when issues arise.
Thanks!!
