This is perfect for me.
Any possibility to center the "You need to wake up at" text?

Oh! Sorry for the time without a response. I'll make that, it's very simple to center the text. Stay tuned for an update

For those that want the text to be centered, here is the APK.
I like the style that is right now, so this will be an alternative to the Market one, but don't forget to rate it on the Market

Care to add that Update to the OP? Thanks

I like how made "Made On a Mac" bold in the OP

Red for nightvision?
Just a suggestion, but how about also making a version with black background and medium-dark red numbers?
Red light has a bonus at night being that it doesn't ruin your night vision when in a dark room like white light does.
(ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_vision section: Biological night vision)
Long ago there were apps for Palm devices where it used red so people could flick the device on, look at what they needed with the display red, and it wouldn't strain their eyes or disrupt their night vision.

In CM there is "render effects" where you can switch to red. It effects the whole system and can be used as "night vision".

Cheer's mate
works nicely. i like the fact you can rotate the bezel to alter the brightness.
Cool, it even allows full power, and apparently without limit, suggesting the LEDs can actually handle that... that's damn bright.
Now it would be even better if it didn't do that stupid animation everytime it's launched.
Thanks for sharing!
OK, just for fun, LED current draw:
Step 1: 32mA
Step 2: 107mA
Step 3: 530mA, thats 2W of LED. Mighty. I can light my whole flat with that. LOL
Nice.
Many thanks for sharing
Great app!!! is there a way to start it without the intro..?
http://pocketnow.com/software-1/new-htc-flashlight-app-for-hd2-available
Would it be possible, a recruitment Create menu where you can disable the 3 mode?
Thanks for sharing.
This is a very nice app.
I agree with other users, that it would be even better if it would start without the animation.
Any chace to achieve that?
All the Flashlight interface is done through GIO1: by HTCFlashlightLib.dll, which exports the functions EnableFlashLight and SetFlashLightDegree (though I haven't figured out their parameters yet).
Control codes for DeviceIOControl are 0x220C10, 0x220C04, 0x220C00, the last two are excessively used throughout the ASM. It also imports some clock stuff from MSM_CLK.dll - is it possible this one controls stuff like the CPU freq?
Thanks for the effort, and it looks nice, but it's useless due to the startup animation.
I have TorchButton in quicklinks, I just tap and it's instantly on. This thing takes a full 2-3 seconds which is kind of annoying, though I'm sure someone can fix it.
Edit: Also, this is 1.2MB larger than TorchButton... just saying, I wouldn't care if it didn't have animation at the start.
Thanks for sharing! Loving every detail
Decrease power of flash in photocamera
Can someone write to me the key of register to decrease the power of the flash when the camera is used?
cheers mate nice app
+1
It's nice but the start up animation is a bit of a bind.
My other TorchLight program starts up instantly just like a flashlight should
do you have the rest of the dump of the rom it came from?
This is a briiliant app but sadly as soon as I installed it my HD2 went all squirrley. My phone started to hang and booted slowly, when I got it to finally load using the slide to unlock the phone caused the screen to go black...
I like this just not sure why it did this...
In the end I uninstalled it and all is okay again...
Scott
ok. i know this is for htc devices but i put i on my lg expo. and it works as in it turns on and off the led but it turn on the front message led not the back camera led. does anyone know where the key/value that controls the led might be
thx

alarm clock app?

Is there an alarm clock app or can one be created where you can set the screen to auto dim when using the alarm clock? I used to have a BB Storm...and the alarm clock had a setting to dim the screen so the background wasnt illuminated but you could still see the time...both the PRE and the EVO dont have this setting...
easy peasy, IF you're using Sense.
1. click on your clock

2. Set your alarm with the alarm button
3. then hit the little laptop looking button
4. and Voila! you should have the below clock on your screen. it orients as well, so use that kickstand for something!!

You can also click the moon star thing and you getting a dimmed down version for night time!
Thanks SilverStone641 ...But I already know how to use the alarm clock...the issue I have is that the background is very bright...lighting up my room making it difficult to sleep...my old Storm had an auto dim feature that would gradually dim the background so it wasnt so bright keeping my room dark...I used to have to cover my PRE because it didnt auto dim either...but then U cant see the time...I figured this could be done with android apps...maybe not???
even with the method that jedwardmiller suggested??

Does setting the screen brightness settings to "auto" help when combined with any of the above suggestions?
This is what I do every night as well. I use the dimmer "nighttime" version so I can look over at it during the night without it being too bright. It even moves around the screen like a screensaver so you don't damage the LCD.

It seems that no matter which one I choose...desk top (laptop pic) or night time (star and moon pic) its still the same brightness...
I got the old Storm out and set up the alarm...it has a dimming feature and the alarm has a "bedside mode" you click...after a few seconds the screen backlighting and the clock numbers dim so that you can still see the time but the illumination of the screen has dimmed so it looks darker...or more "black" and doesnt emitt as much light...
Is there a way to make an alarm app that has such a feature?

Is there any idea for Blink

Blink is one of our best and popular apps. Here are some great features:
Blink lets you customize your system and more LED alerts in your way!
- New SMS & MMS LED Color & Frequency Adjustment
- Missed Call LED Color & Frequency Adjustment
- New Phone Call LED Color & Frequency Adjustment
- Low Battery LED Color & Frequency Adjustment
- Low System Memory LED Color & Frequency Adjustment
Screenshots:
Now we want to update Blink to a new version. Is there any idea? That would be very appreciate
I use blink and it's great. I'd love it to be able to turn off the charging light on Xperia X10
Calendar notifications.
Email notifications.
Gmail notifications.
LED blinks in sequence - i.e. if your SMS LED is blue and your email LED is green and your calendar LED is red, and you have one of each alert, it should blink blue, green, red.
All of these should be able to be turned on and off, of course.
I would pay good money for a single app that would universally and reliably allow me to change all of my notification LEDs. I know a lot of people are cheap and won't consider an app over $1.99 but I think a solid tool that would allow me to know every kind of notification just by glancing at my phone is worth $5 no problem.
Thanks for all your comments. we will gather all the requirments into consideration and add to the next new version update.
Add vibration settings for sms, gmail, phone call, whatever. That way Blink will be comparable to BerryBuzz for those of us who came from a Blackberry.

If you could override the charging light on the X10 (ie: cause notifications to display even when charging, but otherwise leave the charging light as normal), it would be a huge boon to resolving one of my biggest niggles about the phone.

[Live Wallpaper][2.1+]Monitor Lizard - displays your system stats as a game of Snake

Hi!
So I've had this idea knocking around in my head for a while, and finally banged it together over the last week or so. Basically the speed of the snake reflects the current CPU load of the phone, and it's length reflects RAM usage.
There's a bit of a settings screen, so you can change the colour of the snake, as well as what the speed and length represent (the third option is number of processes running), and change how often it polls the system for new values.
I'm planning to release this version (more or less) on the Market for free, along with a paid version with more advanced settings (surprise!).
If you have time, please install it, try it out, and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear about:
Crashes (along with logcat output if possible )
General battery usage (should be pretty good, but, y'know)
Any other problems you might run across
How your day is going
How smoothly it runs on your phone
Suggestions of more system settings to display
And more ways to display them
What you had for breakfast
Any other settings you'd like to see!
Thanks very much for taking the time to read, I hope you like the wallpaper!
Mark
I ll try it now and would surely report back.
Excellent How about the color of the snake (green yellow red) as the battery stats? Or at least optional

+1 that would be useful
General feedback:
* Simple, cool and geeky design (that's a good thing)
* Lag free
* Maybe add an option for the size of the snake (i.e how big the blocks are). I quite like the current size, but others might like different sizes.
I've added some screenshots for you hope they help! I had no idea how to make the images smaller... sorry :<

Hi,
so far it works perfect (Nexus S, stock 4.0.3). No lags, no crashes and basically now battery usage.
I would like to e. g. keep my regular wallpaper but to have a small "window" and have the snake in this window. Combined with the colour depending on the battery stats this would be a great feature...
Is there any possibility of some working screenshots? I recommend some image hoster.

Question Samsung watchface studio

Hey, anyone screw around with the watch face studio?
I was going to make a simple watch face so when I attend mustang shows, I can show it off.
When I save it and try to build it, it says the on display pixel ratio is too high.
How the heck do I disable that? I never use AOD anyway. Just wanting a nice simple face.
Here's what it looks like.

Switch to the Always-On tab on the left hand side panel and hide layers until the on pixel limit is reached, for example in your case you could disable all layers except the hour and minute hand). If you plan to use it personally and don't use AOD at all then you can even disable ALL layers in the Always-on tab
I added an overlay to dim it all as well above post, hope that helps!

This is what i normally do,if i get "pixel ratio to high "warning in Watchface studio
I always have a lot colour options and either set option to black or a dark greyish , when i create a " WFS format " to transfer to my watch .
This "work around " works fine for me and i can then , use any colour option in AOD ,mode
Bottom line ,
Afterwards i still have my other colour options....... to change back to my desired colour option .eg white ..etc etc
See screenshots .
Good luck .

Just to add further to my post above ,
You can also create different styles, with your preferred option included .
So one style you create a watchface with very low pixel ratio or dark watchface ;
You also include your preferred watchface in style
When you ready to send watchface to watch just make sure your "first option "in your watch face is a low pixel ratio /dark .
Then transfer to watch .
Afterwards go to your phone and select in Wearable your prefered options of your choice
see screenshots
good luck
Thanks for the help! That did the trick. After remembering to turn on ADB debugging, finally got it to take the watch face!
