Wondering, is it possible to root the Desire HD? Heard something about a 'Anti-root Chip'.
The release of the code of Desire HD, is that a start?

[Q] Is there a difference between at&t Inspire and Telus Desire HD

I need to root 2 phones, one is an at&t inspire, the other is a Telus Desire HD. What I need to know is if I can root both phones using the same attn1 hack kit posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952352
The phones r virtually identical, but I did notice that they have a different kernel and I dont wanna brick either phone, or have one that runs good and the other doesnt. Thank u!!

I am a proud owner of the Desire HD. If you are looking to install custom roms, it is just a matter of finding a rom that is compatible with the phone.
