[Q] Need help / guidance in Flashing / rooting

I got my Xoom Wifi today. Unfortunately it was in German and no option to swtich language. After searching I found out an app which can add English to this
i am looking to install some custom rom and root
Currently I have
Model MZ604
Android 3.1
Firmware: GAS_EMEA_UsAHUBLWFRTDACH_P007
Kernel: 2.6.36.3-000040g5de4d3d [email protected] #1
Build number: H.6.4-20-3
Can any one point me in correct direction like which rom i should use, tools reqiured etc

[Q] O+ 8.75 Android: ROOT??

**I just registered this February so I am a newbie here from the Philippines. I apologize if you see anything wrong in this post.**
Ok, so I had this new phone:
Model number: O+ 8.75 Android
Android version: 2.3.6
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7
Build number: Oplus A100ALPS.GB2.MP.V2
Custom Build Version: 121117_1911
And I've been searching for methods of rooting this phone very effectively.
I've been following the methods right but still there's no effect, like the Z4Root that exits automatically, and the SuperOneClick that sticks on Step #7 and says "mount: operation not permitted."
I know this is a new phone from the US, but I really want to root/jailbreak this to play freely.
Anything to help me and other users of this kind of phone?? please wait 2 seconds for an uncompressed image, or press Ctrl+F5 for original quality page Thank you.

if could someone can provide us a unsecure boot.img and scatter.txt of O+8.75 it will be easy for us to root our phone

just download eroot from google search I try many times.

Hi everyone , i have a question. I bought a kycoera rise from public mobile (quebec, canada) and i don't have the option for portable hotspot so i tied to download many tethering application and still nothing worked i would like to know if someone can explain me how to set it up?

It might help if you describe what happens when you try to use the apps that you downloaded, not that they just "don't work" - or is it really that, that they just don't open period - or what ?

Sorry you are right forgot to tell that my device does open the tethering but it tell me that i need to download foxfi buti did it already and still nothing is happening

I've a HTC 7 PRO T7576.
From the bootloader screen, Its SPL version is 5.1.1.
And DFT RSPL/HSPL tool supports only 1.x.x and 2.x.x.
How do I downgrade to at least 2.x.x.
And I have tried some stock rom links, but they are dead (rapidshare). Does anyone have them?
I will very much appreciate. Thank you.

I wonder if you still have that stock rom you mentioned RUU_Gold_HTC_Europe_1.22.401.01_Radio_5.63.09.13_ 3 a_22.36.50.15_Signed I really want to roll back to an original ROM and can't find where to download it these days.
