I updated to froyo this morning using keis mini. Phone updated and restarted but screen went black after galaxy splash screen. I had oclf lag fix installed and rooted. I tried to reflash original kernel using odin multiple times and same result each time. In order to get keis mini to find my phone prior to update was to unmount sd in settings. Tmobile said they cant waranty my phone please help

i am using a samsung galaxy fit gt-s5670 rooted with 2.3.4 gingerbread
i had installed rom manager and and from it i had installed the wrong clockwork mod recovery version and after the installation i tried taking a backup of my phone and suddenly my phone went blank.... i cannot see anything in the phone and the screen only stays black without vibration or anything.... please help me out with this.

If the screen is blank then just go to samsung and tell then that u were downloading an update from kies and half way suddenly the screen went blank and since then its not switching on..... That should do it.....
Hi all. need help urgently! i am a noob with xda and all the phones but could not stop my self to try new things out,got a new galaxy 2 phone, only can remember its runs on Official Android 2.3.6 XWKK2 for Samsung Galaxy S2, 4hours ago looking through Xda-developers site and start play with odin, following what it says than noob part of me came in and i some how unplugged usb from the pc.now the phone is stuck at picof phone yellow angle and pc message says some issue happened during upgrade needs from kies to recover try to fix it. try kies it keep saying connect the usb to phone i turn off on the phone it just always come to the same stament some how i got it back to the downloading page and try odin i get fail all the time. what should i do now? please help and thank you all

Hey everyone noob here lol. Last night i installed chainfire 3d. After i did that my phone screen went blank. So i restarted it and now all i get is the samsung galaxy mega screen then the part where at&t should show up it just goes blank.Please tell me if their is a way to resolve this i tried restoring factory reset and nothing and i tries keis but my computer won't recognize it. I'm trying to flash it with stock firmware is that the way to go and if so what's the proper way. Thanks alot!

Earlier today, my T-Mobile Galaxy S5 updated to 5.1.1. I searched google and came across a few links on how to root my phone (G900T) - The one I ended up using was CF-AutoRoot
I used Odin 3.07, used the tar5 file from that site above where I downloaded the root, and attempted to root the phone. Odin says everything worked as planned ''passed'' was displayed with 0 fails. I waited about 20 minutes, but my phone never rebooted, it was stuck in a boot logo loop ' 'Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android'' or ''T-Mobile'' was displayed.
I tried going into recovery and reseting all data / factory wipe but that didn't help, and made it even worse. Now my phone says this when I try to turn it on: ''Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again''
How do I go about getting back to stock firmware , that is rootable, so I can then proceed to install CyanogenMod?
EDIT: I used Kies and was able to get back to stock firmware and the phone turns on.
Can anyone recommend a reliable root for the G900T S5?

Many of us find it convenient to install a custom recovery such as TWRP which makes backing up and restoring, switching ROMs, and many such activities much easier. Yesterday I Installed android 5.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S II with help of a tutorial video( The ROM I installed CM 12.1 Android 5.1.1) it all worked fine downloaded some apps like Pokemon go and it still worked fine until a update of cyanogenmod came up so I installed it restarted the phone, then the wifi connection started to do weird so I went to updates to see if there was an other update which I might have missed. There was one so I clicked it downloaded the update then I saw it was an old update. When the update rebooted the phone it didn't wanted to start. I think I downloaded an old update over a new update. I coulnd't get past the samsung logo cuz the screen would turn black . So I readed that I should reflash stock firmware via Odin which I did but now my phone keeps stuck at the samsung logo.
When I started the phone I did get the start screen
Samsung Galaxy S II
GT-I9100
then the samsung logo pops up
the intro music plays and that's it then it keeps repeating this steps all the time
also the recovery mode button combination doesn't seem to work so I cant get in recovery mode.
When I try to charge the phone
the screen stucks on the battery loading image
Hopefully someone has any ideas how to fix this problem and get my phone on and working again.
