Many of you have been very generous, so I'd like to get some input on what you guys want me to work on next...
I'm not really to excited about porting other peoples work... but if you guys really want something, i can.
To-Do
CM6 Red Theme - framework
-Themed apps, stock icons-Themed apps, themed icons
Make more red sense icons
sense sucks(except for some of the widgets) so dont worry about doing anything w/ sense...as much red as we can get for cm6 would be great...i would try to do some stuff w/ the status bar like changing the 3g/wifi icons, the time, also i like that battery icon that was on your other red customization (the circular red one)...just a few suggestions, i will try to think of some more...thanks dude, your stuff is badass!
I'd like to see red or maybe even yellow for the sky raider rom. I actually like sense just don't like how the launcher looks on it. Anything would be appreciated though. Thanks for the themes and keep up the good work

I'm kinda leaning toward theming that Rom... 2.2 with sense is pretty nice, plus I don't see issues with cm6 getting fixed anytime soon. Im so torn between the two roms, cm has trackball wake and customization for long pressing the home button but the new 2.2 rom has internal storage and may have a working camera soon.
I should've put a little more thought into that poll... opinions anyone?
I think you should work on the most functional roms first. That way your time won't go to waste, you'd be theming a Rom that no ones going to be using. Thinking you should really go with sky raider for now.
And I agree about the launcher on sense its the main reason I don't use sense ui. Wait till a real stable cm 6 comes out then make a bada** theme for it.. ill get your kid some nice power rangers if u do!

Definitely Blue/Red for CM 6.
I think as the bugs are worked out over the next couple (few?) weeks, a lot of people will be moving over to Cyanogen.

I'll be getting CM6 as soon as the bugs are worked out and it would be great to have a red theme for that.
+1 to red CM6...Cyanogenmod's gonna be HOTTT!! Verizon made the highlights red, so its only fitting...Dark status bar with a transparent window!
Sorry for my absence, I am finally feeling healthy. Looks like it's gonna be red for CM-6. I'm starting a to-do list on the op so i can prioritize, so if you want any of those custom icons please remind me...

Also, I need three testers who can thoroughly test these cm themes... I need people who have great attention to detail and a lot of time. PM me if you can meet those qualifications.

What are the chances you could package a red themed NexusMod live wallpaper with your red theme? In particular the wallpaper from the droid. That would be sick, and I can't find the damn wallpaper anyway.
Yeah id like neural network too. Or maybe ask koush to port it? He's the one that got the nexus wallpaper working on the Droid months ago, it never loaded until he came along.
My girlfriend would freak if you could make an all purple theme and I told her I would but it wouldn't get done until the next major android update comes out. She saw this thread and begged me to post to ask you. Thanks.

Chances are slim, unless you can get me the source code for it... then i may be able to hack it, but that would take me forever since i have no skills
Of course, if you use CM roms nexus mod is included.

I'd just like to point out that you have excellent taste in music.
NOTE: i have posted this in themes and here so that those that are/were not aware of how to utilize video on froyo would have better chances of seeing it or those that didnt want to check out froyo for the no vid or buggy cam issue. This is also a tut on how to get it working for you. I think this should be posted in dev and theme since it qualifies as both.

I began work on this and it is exclusive to a specific froyo rom atm. I am working on 2more things right now and i need some feedback towards what to add to this setup, and when i get enough changes/added mods and/or edits, i can then release another PUBLIC version in update.zip form. Its not just a skin though, this is what i did so that i could test a froyo rom. So this is the EXACT mod im running right now. I will be editing two more items shortly. I will be optimizing and zipaligning the app and framework folders since i just found a sweet new script.

The reason there are two files rather than just one or added to a rom is because they do not work together and it will not work that way for me. I am working on it. I will update it as soon as i figure it out.

congrats on the first froyo theme and thanks for the work...however, I don't think I'll be using this. Personally, it kinda hurts my eyes to look at. Again, that is just me personally, I'm sure plenty of people will love this ROM. Thanks for the work.
Good theme. I will have to agree with post #3. This theme is to robust for my style. The lock screen, the rosie theme and the font. Not my flava, but maybe someone else will enjoy it.

think if you change the wallpaper you'd find it less distracting, thats whats drawing my eyeballs the most.
You obviously having theming skills, i mean you know how to manipulate stuff, you do good with the colors most of the time. i can't begin to do it. your choice of fonts are always horrible to me though. If you kept stock fonts i guarantee people would enjoy your stuff a lot more. your name looks ghetto on the launcher button also. Look at koni's stuff, thats good theming, and he doesnt put his name out in the open with some ghetto freestyle uneven font to be in your face 24/7. Tone it down some if you care to please others. If you dont, which you make clear in all of your theme threads, then leave it alone and only you will like it. I've never seen anybody rip in to themers like they do to you, i'm beginning to understand why, Waste of bandwidth.

If thats a bad thing im sorry. not a big % of pps like my theming,but the ones that do, really apppreciate it and encourage me to continue. If someone else made themes that i would be happy using, i wouldnt have ever started doing what i call theming.

If you have no idea how to do this than thats it. YOU HAVE NO IDEA whats involved so i cant expect you to begin to appreciate this form of art. FYI, case you didnt notice finisher is not my name but the name of a mod i created by myself and take great pride in. I am magnus if you didnt see my sig, i know its pretty hard to see. I provided 3 other options AS STATED IN THE OPS, there are also froyo 2.2 and one for baked as well. YOu should consider reading a bit more carefully before posting all willy nilly; EVERYTHING short of your opinion is completely unfounded and/or JUST wrong and shows that you lack the dedication to read ops for w/e reason. Also i am an artist that uses many mediums;this is just another. Art is obective,even controversial sometimes. Should picasso have quit because pps insulted his work and he himself for creating it? We all have opinions and thanks for sharing yours. If you cared to read ops, rather than just come across as crass you may have helped me create something more appealing to yourself, cared to notice the 5 addl fonts i have on the same page as my rom dls, or took the time to read all the POSITIVE comments i have in my threads. That is fine if you want to come across as negative as you have but just try to get the WHOLE picture before posting like this again. Also, if i was happy flashing other ppls work like yourself i would not do what i do. I am not that type. I appreciate what koni does here. hes awesome. but thats koni's spin on theming. I provide ANOTHER choice. DO WE NEED TWO OF ANY THEMER? thats pretty lame if you ask me, maybe you can take the time to learn and then become a koni clonie. Lemme know how that works out for you, im sure youll have a million dl's your first project. My goal is to provide ANOTHER choice of theme and here im also providing a tut for those that would like froyo but did not want to sacrifice their camcorder like myself. thanks alot. its rough in this neck of the woods all sorts of trolls....yes atm; its actually worth nandroiding and checking out cus you dont lose your camcorder or cam and you get froyo and full flash is sick and internet speed is amazing. this is MY take on froyo, since i cant seem to leave a rom the way it is before i flash it. i was actually making this theme for hero over's froyo to be integrated with a froyo release but it was too much. for me i really cut back i thought but to him that was not enough. I tried to make something cool for baked but hey, we all benefit either way! so all is well I wouldve really liked to make it for baked froyo because i like baked roms but it kinda sucked that i spent all that time making it and sitting on it for 3days after i hurried up to get done, only to hear that it was not the right theme for the job. Oh well im not a themer anyway
Ill be starting work on a blue theme very soon though. Im sure anyone who likes my work will like the blue too.....i hope . What rom did you need it for?

way to much going on doesnt help me improve it. keep in mind you are judging my own personal rom, so i made it for myself and then shared it. then gave a few options of mainav scroller for those that cared to try it. how should i improve it to make it less? my style is different. if i was a minimalist my themes would look boring to me and i would not use it at all so i could not test it. sorry you dont like it. maybe next time

It's very incomplete right now, but when I get everything ironed out I plan to do versions for multiple roms/devices as well as color variations.
It was part of my new years resolutions to finish more themes... you guys would be suprised how many unfinished unreleased themes i have sitting around. This one was actually a request from my lady though so it is higher priority than normal.
I hear ya, If mamma's not happy, nobodys happy. If you need help porting it to 3.70 I can give it a shot. I need the practice anyway.

I dont really need help porting since its not finished at all, but if you like to port whats done so far i can add that to the first post. Wanna be a tester/collaborator? my main issue is that i rely on my evo for internet connectivity and its kinda a pita to flash and lose my tether. If you can sign and dont need your phone always available, id love to have someone whod be able to test new images i make. I have 3 or 4 different versions with variations on status bar icons but i uploaded the version with stock myn icons since i want to do status bar icons last.

Im gonna do myn & cm7 first then ill try to hit other roms for the evo. My evo runs myn because my data runs better but i have a g2 so i like to mess with theming aosp roms.... choices choices =D

I've pretty much got everything the way I like it. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good dragon theme. I use mostly red, black, and white on my phone. So I would like something that doesn't have too many crazy colors. The main thing that I haven't touched is the lockscreen so if anyone knows where I can find just that, that works too.

I really would love to try and work on my own theme. Unfortunately I only have my Wife's laptop to work with right now. And once April comes around, I will be a full time student. Really the only thing i am looking for is to change the tabs on the lock screen for unlock and vibrate/sound.
So I am running the MIUI Rom and loving it but I have a question that hopefully one of you can answer. I tend to gravitate towards red themes and found a theme that I love called NeonRT. Problem is, there is a language issue in a specific app, and unfortunately it is Gmail. The body of the messages are in some rubbish. Now I realize there may be nothing one can do but does anyone know how to fix this at a programming level. I am decent with PCs but know squat about programming. Any help or advice is appreciated, Thanks!
And if anyone knows of another red theme out there, feel free to throw it up. I did find a theme called Red Crystal but prefer the icons and general layout of the NeonRT theme much better. Again, thanks and take care.
i have ran the neonBT GT and RT and finally stuck with the bleu one, but Gmail works great on all of them.
Your right they are nice looking...the crystal one is just to plain for my liking.
Bit I'm sure you could find different icons in a icon pack and use a different launcher. Like I'm on infused and running adw launcher ex and have the zoo York red icon pack but then have a theme foe the rom and can change just the icon instead of the whole theme but I don't know anything about miui at all so i don't know how it all works with it.

Finally Saw this, if u just hold the home key and END gmail open it up you should be good to go.
Yea i had the same problem with one of the themes as well, but ended up switching to another them..
Good to know this though as I might go back to the other theme with the funky letters lol..
