I have been searching but can't find anything similar. Anyone know of an app that does this?

It's not an app but Cyanogenmod 7 has it as a main feature.
Not in pull down, but there is a widget.
I also miss the all the embedded functionality in the Captivate pull down. But, the Inspire does have a widget that gives you "desktop" control of all wireless options, GPS, Sync, and brightness.
Hope it helps!
CoreDroid rom, themed version has the drop menu like the cappy but better of course lol

like this one? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=947680
I have it working from the Elegant Blues theme as it comes with it
The new Gingerbread Sense ROM has this as a tab on the notification pull down
I actually prefer it this way than how gingerbread sens rom does it after playing with both since gb has it as a separate tab and seems like a lot of wasted space while you can have all the toggles in one row at the top

This is a part of the galaxy s phone, I don't think you could get the exact thing on your phone. You may be interested in something like SmartBar or extended controls, they both keep a polyp in the notification bar where you can hit it and then have toggles show up for wifi, etc.
One more step but still helpful.

Cyanogen mod has a similar bunch of shortcuts to the ones in touchwiz. I believe cm is already availiable for the Leo - just download rom manager and check.
Yes it's avaible but i'm loving Nexus one rom. With adw.

Hi All,
Got bored and made a notepad app, it's kinda cool with a widget, which I've styled after the stock Android widgets. The app uses your wallpaper (including live) as the background. Also has a few options like share, delete all etc.
Hope you like

Is there an option to actually write directly on your home screen? Or does it always open up a new window ?
Ideos X5 / Huawei U8800
Always a new window for now, however the widget give you 2 buttons, so you can either go into the list, or straight to a new note and when you click save, it doesn't take you back to the app (unless it was still running from before) but back to the home screen, so it's basically the same thing
Great job very handy.
Any way to make the widget transparent?

nice app - widget looks good on my screen and I like the functionality.
Nice, I've been looking for a simple note pad app. I'd love you forever if it supported txt files

Hello all!
I finally moved to Cyanogen mod 7 nightlies and cm7 is great but still one thing I miss from the Sense: HTC grid calendar widget. Could someone recommend similar plain and simple widget?
Agenda Widget Plus - has so many settings possibilities, that you can configure it to the looking of HTC widget.
That's not I'm looking for. All I want is GRID calendar widget showing month. Something like that (remove underscore):

I'm also trying cm7, and also missed the htc calendar. Finally found it here...

Very good widget pack, including a htc style month grid.

Finally! Thank you! There is something wrong with your link though (inserted twice in a row?).
Ah yes sorry. I've fixed the link now.

Hi there!
I'm a long time fans of htc sense interface and I have seen/used more or less all of its variant.
I have just bought an htc one s which of course has sense 4.0, the last version of sense and I have noted this:
we have pass from this situation on sense 3.5 on slider inside htc's app :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
to this situation on sense 4.0 :
In my opinion there is no match, the 3.5 situation is very much better ( it look more nice ). But hey I was thinking, we are on android not iphone so anyone know if there is a chance to have the big colored icons on the foreground back on sense 4.0 ??
Also the icons on the slider now are just black and white and before where all colored which is something I do not like much.
id also like to know of the cube effect from the one x can be added to Roms. ?
the cubic effect onthe all app menu has already been ported in some ROMs, this thread is for having the old slider insde the htc programs, like clock, meteo, contact ecc..
re up again!
I'm using Jellybam 3.3.0, running 4.1.2. I think this is a JB feature so it's probably not specific to the ROM.
When I'm playing music, my lockscreen gets dominated by the music widget. Doesn't matter if I'm using Play Music or Songza. I want to turn this off, because I like my lockscreen the way it is. Right now the widget takes up the top half of the screen and the whole thing is on a black background. I don't find this very visually appealing.
Can I turn it off altogether?
If no, how can I change the background from black?
Try unselecting music on lock screen in settings, security.
Is that the ticket?
