It's only in the new (1.6 and up) market, but the above posted APK works in every version.
Yeah sorry, I didn't mean it doesn't work, I just meant in the ROM im using, the camera doesn't work, which in turn would make the picture searching, well.... useless lol
Just tried it out on fresh's rom, works great! way better than shopsavvy imo
thanks!
its compatible with 1.5?
i downloaded it straight from the market place
and im running gumbo 1.5c
Sweet! Does Google Goggles by chance run on 1.5? If so can someone upload the apk?
Just to let everyone know, Google Shopper is, in fact, available in the 1.5 market. Guess we all didn't look hard enough, or Google flipped a switch at some point in the last day or so. At least I'm seeing it on Gumbo's 1.5c naturale.

Ditto. Works for me on Gumbo 1.5c, but I think I prefer Shopsavvy to this because of the local results it offers along side the online ones.
Not showing up in Market on TTG ROM. Tried searching "shopper" and "Google Shopper".
Works on Fresh...tks
It works great on my phone. I will have to compare to shop savy and decide further tho.
Running Gumbo 1.5c and I do not see google shopper in the market.
Thanks, works well... but its in american, anyway to get it into UK prices....?
Why not just get straight from market? Any difference between yours and markets?
I´ve brought Android 2.3.7, to the Desire HD, ported from the Nexus S, and I am building more devices every moment

Maybe I took to long to release, if someone else beat me to it,
But I would still like any rom feedback, as this is the first step of BOCA coming to more devices.

If that's true, its still okay,
You get a rom that was built today, and I get some feedback.
Its all part of a bigger picture, for me ;-)
Ill switch over, sync my cyanogen, and see. Maybe it will make my task easier
but I still like working with my stuff, I know what was done, and what needs to be done for the next evolution
Thanks for the heads up.
I have tested the rom. As discussed in the other thread, the market keeps FC ing but i noticed that it still installed all the apps(previously installed on my other rom). Wifi, calls...all works..i havent noticed any problems besides the market problem. It seems to be optimized for tablets ?? DON'T FLASH if you want a daily rom.

A FC market has not been discussed anywhere,, as far as i know where did you read that?
please link, as I may have missed that
yes it default loads with the status bar on the bottom, you can easily change that, very easily.
all the apps are synced up to tonites cyanogen merge
You say DONT FLASH, any strong reaon for that statment, other than the market issue you are having, but not everyone is.
Please, I need details, is it unusable? or you just dont like it?
Whatever cyanogen is bot building right now, has the same apps
each build, i have to repo sync again

Yes I sync with cyanogen to get the apps. Then merge those with the work I already did. Was up three days straight doing.
when I started making 2.3.7 work on my Samsung galaxy tab, the nexus s release was only out a day or two. I worked from that, mixing it with Samsung source code and making it more aosp and mixing in some cyanogen.
These test releases, I've stopped, and am looking closer at the new, as of it seems today or yesterday, cyanogen release/merge.
In fact, the brand new cyanogen 10/1/11 sync/merges ruined my last three builds.
Major errors
Except for the needed apps, which I would make myself, if I could, lol, I code myself.
When it gets to BOCA status, it will be based off cyanogen & aosp.
My own brew.
I try to have the whole thing coded by me from base, like my sgt7 Boca port. NOT!!!! A copy of the other sgt7 unofficial cm7 beta release.
BOCA for the tab is my own port job.
I prefer, when I can, build or port it myself, so I know the rom inside and out.
I don't have a black mark on my name, and am known to be a very honest person, here on xda, for those that know me, worked wit me or has their work in my rom.
well I did almost make someone loose photos of lost ones, but eventually it was fixed.
I'm just glad I got 2.3.7 out on one or two devices (sgt7 & g2) before cyanogen did.
I did do a massive Google search for 2.3.7 before I posted any thread outside of Sgt, and the only reply was nexus s.
so I am happy, and these are tests for the next Boca development stage.
I feel better about myself if I built it, I refuse to do a copy/paste theme release of someone else's rom.
Thank you, for your info, it will he helpfull

Does the same with me.
The voice search is not working. Apart from that it works well. Developers are working to fix the voice part.
I forgot to mention that in my post :fingers-crossed:
It works (if you type in what you'd "say")
This will work on any AOSP ICS rom... Just no voice..
Sent from my LG-G2x using Tapatalk 2
No voice, also the back button won't cancel out of it completely, I kept having to press the home button.
Whenever I open it, it says "Network error. Please check your connections and try again." I can still search, but some questions don't go through and just hang there while it "loads" and the ones that do, don't have pictures on the cards. I'm really just curious to see if everyone else's is like this too, or if it's just me.
Hellfire ICS will have it in 1.9. Just an FYI

As for the sports teams, I'm having trouble too. It found the Baltimore Orioles for me and notified me of the score. The only trouble is that I'm not a baseball fan; instead, I wanted the Ravens tracked but there's only the option to uncheck the Orioles with no way to add the Ravens. I tried some pointed google searches and no go.
I chose not to use this while running the Bamf release due to poor battery life. Now that I'm running liquid I'll have to install it when I get home from work.

well, i've experienced some issues with the voice aspects on liquid ICS, as have others. google now works perfectly on jester's desensed rom and the bamf leak. i'm hesitant to look further into my issues with google now on liquid ICS because i believe some of issues with voice are yet unresolved issues with the rom itself, as it works on two of our other ICS roms perfectly.
No way in hell am I going back to Sense...
I would rather live without google now then to live with sense anything *shudders*

Yes, go to the App Store and download the lite version for free. One guy on reddit said he got it working with the Moto X. I am now reflashing stock Android as I think my custom kernel could be the problem. Will let you know how it works out.
Thanks, didn't find the lite version on their website and didn't look in the AppStore.

Ok. I got the app working with CyanogenMod It doesn't work with the stock Android ROM, but it works with CyanogenMod? CyanogenMod FTW!!! Thanks for the help. I would never think of CyanogenMod as the solution to my problem. Just bought the app. Kind of cool as it's supposed to be one of the main features in Yosemite that they are advertising.
Edit: I am getting weird static out of my left speaker when making a call, do you have the same problem?

Most probably will not need this app anymore after Yosemite comes out. And there are a few apps like this already on the app store which costs much less I think.
