Just a thought...Has anyone tried to fit a smaller battery in the g tablet? I like the 10 hrs life but weight could be less with a four hour battery...
Any thoughts?

Hello guys, searching the net for higher capacity batteries i've found this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/free-shipping-for-BLUE-2830MAH-HIGH-CAPACITY-REPLACEMENT-BATTERY-FOR-LG-E960-E975-brand-battery/1303576275.html .
Did anyone found something like this, but from normal famous manufacturer? Two years ago I bought for my Galaxy S a PolarCell battery with higher capacity, which really lasts longer as the original and was only one or half mm thicker. Why the hell there no such batteries for our N4 or I'm not searching good enough?
There is no bigger battery with same size.
Maybe typo error, but at the description it says that battery is 1980 mah.

good find :good:
Assuming 80% battery charging efficiency in this and the phone, 36% of energy is lost in charging this battery to charge a phone battery, vs 20% by directly charging it. So, given it's not in a phone case form factor, the only people using this will be ones where there is no power.
First off, I used the phone naked since release. No case, or screen protector. Battery life was decent, but would quickly deplenish over the day with games and bad service.
Anyways, the package is great. Comes packaged similar to how the phone did. Installation was simple, pop the battery in, case fits snug over the phone.
Now, the phone is gigantic. But I knew that before buying it. It's thicker than expected. Also, much heavier. I feel like a blow to the head with this sucker and it's game over for who ever it hits.
On to battery life. My first initial reaction was, why is it draining quickly? I restarted my phone, and gained 5%. It never happened again though. After 1 full charge, I'll upload the results. Also, I was using the best performance profile for KTweaker the entire time.

How much percentage did you have left? Are you a heavy user? I use the stock battery and still have 11% of battery left after 14 hours of heavy use.
My stock battery lasts 8 hours with a strong wifi signal and constant use. With this battery, wifi, and a crappy signal it's down to 82% after 12 hours
I've been happy with the stock battery, but having an 82% battery after 12 hours is really tempting.
Hi,
So my sister came to me day complaining that her battery goes flat real quick in her tablet. I explained that if she didnt take care of the battery it will get worse (well faster than normal) but this is only a 3-4 months old samsung tab4 10.1
that's a typical usage pattern . So am I right that this constant charging is what is killing the battery?
Hi, I bought used Ace 3 recently and my battery life isn't very good. It's cca 20mins screentime — 10% battery, so cca 3 hours of screentime (both stock and CM12). I wonder if it's just old battery or if its normal.
I can return the phone in 7 days, so if such battery life is normal, I'll buy Xperia M instead which is said to be better.
Thanks for answer, I have time just until Wednesday.
It's good, depends what are you doing with it.
So my it's problem of my battery and with the new battery will the phone last one day of moderate usage without problem?
Hi!
Has anyone tried bigger batteries for Express 2 (SM-G3815)? I am considering to buy Mugen 2300mAh battery since it should fit in with original backcover. So it doesn't make your phone any thicker. Mugen battery gives almost 10% more capacity so I think it should also make battery life 10% better. Anyone tried Mugen 2300mAh battery or other for Express 2?
I not tryed this battery or a higher one, but 10% more i donth think is so big diel.
BTW android 5.1 with cyannogenmod 12.1 drain the battery faster than android 4.4 original stock.
