Thanks for the review. Might be something to check out for.
Just got mine today. From ioomobile. They've got it on sale for $17 + free shipping (on their website) or $19 from eBay.
See how it runs over the next few days. Usually get around 35 hours (light/minimal use) or so on miui 1.7.8 on stock battery.
I'll post back after a day or two and report if it's any better.

35 hours on miui, holy ****.
I had to go back to cm7 because miui drained 2xs as fast
Edit
I just bought one, I had great success with my extended momax batter but it was just too bulky for me

If you've got the battery drain on 1.7.8 here's the fix (install as a regular app and restart)
Hope it helps. Worked for me, had terrible drain before the fix.

Interesting, thanks!
I haven't really been able to get back into miui lately though.
Once the huge redesign hits (apparently this week) I will give it a go
this is a very good battery i have it for 2 weeks and it does now 3 days one darky jvp base rom with normal use
1e charge about 8 hours from full then drain thil empty
trie to start the phone untill its do nothing then charge phone when he is off for 8 hours then go to clockworkmod with charge cable attached and wipe battery statistics now start youre phone and wait until it says 100 % unplug it and use it till the phone shutdown and charge again 8 hours with the phone off untill 100% power up the phone and wait til 100% is given then youre battery statistics calibratit with the bigger capacity.

for a stock fit this would be the best, if you want a larger battery with back then I would recommend their 2700
I've received my 1700 momax battery last week and it's very good!
2 days with medium usage and CM7
Could someone pls do a real test? white screen, max brightness screen on time till shutdown compariaon would be great. everything else ia just not really compareable.
I've had my Momax 1700 mah battery for about 3 weeks now and it's performing well. I have a noticable increase in battery life, deffinitely more than a day, up to almost two days depending on usage.
I'm not a heavy user, main usage would be a few calls, internet and bit of video/movie viewing a day.
I'm on Juwe's 5.3 ROM with a Semaphore 1.5/1.6 kernel. Am also just trying the latest GalaxianGT kernel and seem to be getting similar battery life.
"1e charge about 8 hours from full then drain thil empty"
what do you mean? a full battery then charge it again 8 hours? or charge it with external device? i dont understand. the rest makes sense but this is....
Got this battery from ebay (ioomobile user). I have it in my possession for one week now. It went through 3 full charge/discharge patterns and the beefed capacity is getting noticeable now. I'm easily getting 2 days out of my phone (~36 hours) compared to ~24 I was getting with the one year old original battery. I'm actually using my phone daily for music - emails - web browsing having the display on for about 3 hours/day.
I highly recommend this battery nor necessarily to the recent SGS owners but more to the ones having these gadgets for about one year .
Hey guys,
i wanted to know if its around the same size as the original samsung battery?
Yes, it's the same size.

Just ordered one from that seller, will write a short review when it arrives. Original battery after a year of moderate use is lasting 2 days for me with OC to 1,2GHz and UV.
Hi,
I'm just a simple guy using HTC Desire. It's been 1.5 years and it's time to get a new battery. I wanted to get this japanese 2430mah battery but I understand it's a scam.
So instead I wanted to opt for an original battery. However I do not understand why the original battery in the official UK htc store costs 3 times as much than it is on amazon.co.uk. Is this because it is not truely genuine? Why is it so complicated to get a new battery?
All I need is a battery that would last me from morning till I go to sleep at night. I do use bluetooth, wifi and mobile internet quite a lot. That's it.
Thanks for all your help,
Timmy
No one here knows if the batteries sold on Amazon are genuine or not?
Depends on who is selling the batteries. Is it being sold and shipped by Amazon or is it a 3rd party who is selling and shipping through Amazon Marketplace?
This is a third party. It's all very confusing. As I said above the price for what is supposedly the same battery on the HTC shop is 3 times as much.
battery not good
I bought a battery from China through dealextreme, a 1400 mAh 3,7V PISEN battery, because my orginal was getting kind of old...
It was good for 1-2 month's but after that my original 2 year old HTC battery was performing better. I would think twice before buying something else than a original battery again.
i too have fallen foul of the fake batteries, i just want something that gives me better on time without resorting to the hump back batteries
I too think I'm in need of a new battery, I guess I'll sift through ones on eBay for now..
I bought a new original htc batterie. How can I check whether it's original or crap ?
( at now, not in two month)

easy really should look exactly like your old one [ exactly ] maybe the numbers might be different but you can usually tell just read the battery word for word on the back if something's missing or something is added then its usually a fake. Had trouble before with Chinese copies -.- hate them
I'll be testing a 1800Mah battery soon and will post a thread about its performance, my battery is a year old and my phone deserves a new one
don't buy a battery from 3G-Power with 2400mAh..it's total crap. my 2 year old original battery is better..
My point was, my battery was good for approximate 3 months, but after that performance decreased rapidly. Even a good test would most likely say my battery was a good buy, if it was done on a new one.

Genuine HTC battery
I bought a genuine battery off Amazon (UK). Arrived this morning, seems to be identical to my genuine HTC battery. I investigated other options, but few people seemed happy with their higher mA batteries, so went for stock.
As this is my first post and XDA seems rather fascist in its approach to trying to limit noise (which doesn't work, IMHO; look at the number of posts in the Desire ICS threads about non-working cameras...), I can't post urls. I can't even post the url without the url tags. Very frustrating.

For HTC for alternative batteries try to look for Mugen Power.
which model we are talking about? but for instance for Desire Z they have 3600mAh
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...c-desire-z-t-mobile-g2-with-battery-door.html
reviews of Mugen batteries are promising.

you can try to recalibrate your battery, using either a option of your recovery or an app from the market.
My battery is nearly 2 years old, and using latest version of this ICS Rom it's now 22% after... 2 days and 14 hours of medium use !

how good is your 1800 battery ?
what is the make ?
thanks
My advice if you want more days of usage without losing long term usability would be to go with mugen power batteries as mine has lasted 6 months with good consistant usage. This does mean that you will have to put a new battery cover on but hey, 2-3 days of usage isn't bad.
Actually, for $60 you can get a battery worth your time and money with double the power of a stock HTC Desire Battery on Amazon. I am planning to buy this soon because reviews look promising.

Hi
So my phone's battery started to mess up. It would run out in 5 min from 90% if using WiFi even if the screen brightness was set to minimum. Same thing would happen if watching videos. But playing music would last about 3 hrs and if not used for media it would last full day with average number of calls. I tested it with current widget and it showed a loss of 2% over 2 hrs when in sleep mood .so is there anything I could do to improve the battery life or should I buy a new one?
I already have 2 extra batteries that I bought with the phone but they are even worse!!!thanks
Sounds like your buying bad knock off batteries. If the issue isn't ROM related, try picking up an Anker and see if that fixes the issue.

I forgot to say that the current battery its the original battery and its almost 2 yrs old. Would that make any difference or should I just get the anker battery ?

yup your phone's battery is dying.
I don't think the anker battery is available in Egypt.
Try asking couple of local stores because I'm sure Vodafone or mobinil don't have Sensation batteries.
And if you have some issues and you want help. Pm me I live in Egypt

Hello everyone. i have my HTC One S villec2 sense november 2012, now the battery drains in like 4 hours or less when im on 3G Network and Data ON. i open pokemon go and the battery goes 100% to 50% in a hour or half hour xD. so i decide to buy a new one but i don't know where to buy to be secure that a im buying a original replacement and that new battery give me the performance fine (14 hours with 3G Data On). thanks.
hi.
thank you for sharing.
which rom do you use?
I bought one compatible for one s and one x but it is 2300mAh instead of 1650 that the original is and charges up to 91% even if it is off. Is it worth trying to find a solution or it won't fix?
There have been a lot of battery issue related threads so i wanted to create one in the hopes of collecting info and to isolate the problem. Kindly mention your model number, rom and the % at which it shuts down.
In my case i have two batteries. The one i got with the phone is around 2 yrs old and the other one barely 9 months. I use them interchangeably. The original one fares better and shuts down bw 20-30%(sometimes it goes as low as 10%). The other one is quite unreliable as it(sometimes shuts off at 60%) . I have the N915G version with the latest DPI1 MM.
One odd thing I've seen is that if the phone shuts down and i try to go to recovery, it doesn't shut down or reboot. Even in the recovery it shows the proper percentage.
I also have 2. Just recently bought a new one..
Old one SoT is 2,5 hours. Turn off at 4-10%.
New one SoT is 4,5 hours.
I have 4 two normal sized batteries one is samsung OEM it shuts the phone off at 10% I guess it's as old as the phone, I got the phone off eBay from a pawn shop seller who thought the imei was blacklisted and had or best offer so I checked it on swappa and it was clear and offered him 220 and he accepted.
Then I have a brand new maybe month old ZeroLemon 9000mah that lasts forever on 1% a TOTHL 7800mah battery that lasts the same as the ZeroLemon, it's 2 months old maybe 3 and a slim Beltron 3200mah that also stays on forever on 1% it's a year or 2 old and all on power saving mode enabled and greyscale.
I noticed this problem with the oem battery on all rom's.
quite obvious its lollipop os causing all this , now it just brought forward to mm
I get to about 5% and it shuts down. Phone on OEM battery and is 2 years old. Not sure about the battery as I paid $140 for it off eBay...
