Headphone amplifier.??? - HTC Inspire 4G

Coming from a captivated I was spoiled with voodoo sound. HTC has some EQ settings; but nothing pumps the music out like voodoo. I like the stock music app so I am not looking for a power amp referral . Very curious if anybody has a clue. Thanks.

Not advised and most importantly, not necessary. Volume+ is more than capable to handle all ure volume issues..

Equalizer and AudioManager Console
Equalizer and AudioManager Console are the two main audio apps that i use. Equalizer works only on Gingerbread Roms from what i can tell but it allows you to use custom Equalizer settings in all audio on the phone! works great for all audio, apps and videos, even streaming media! AudioManager Console is a wigit/app that allows for the phone's volume to be adjusted with 6 different volume settings (alarm volume, music volume, alerts volume, ringer, system, voice call.) with these 2 apps, i no longer even use SRS surround! lol

Music player of choice?

Like the title says, what's your music player of choice on your G2x?
Personally, I use Poweramp because of the Eq, folder based playback, and it looks very nice.

Volume help...

I am using CM7 rom for my infuse. But get very poor sound, I am trying to get the volume little bit louder when I play the media, I have used a couple of volume booster from the market but it didn't help much. Any one have any suggestion for me??? Thanks a lot
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda premium
CM7 has audio manager built in. DSP manager I believe works really good. Mess with that one.

In my opinion Volume+ boost is the best app for sound boost
Just try
SuperCurio's Voodoo LOUDER app made for GNote. Boost done at hardware level for cleanest sound possible. The best volume booster out there hands down.
Audioboost sgs2 best by note

It's like, if u have NOTE, u should have this Voodoo Louder.
spectrum analyzer effect?
Do we even have equalizer/spectrum analyzer effect app like EQu from elephantcandy app? I'm more interested in the spectrum effect.. would be cool if playing in the car.

Audiophiles unite!

Just wanted to open a thread here for any audiophiles to share their audio equipment setups, apps, and EQ settings.
I have some Bose IE2 headphones for daily use, Beats Studio, and sometimes I use my 6.1 speaker system to play through.
I use DSP manager for EQ and these are my DSP settings http://db.tt/ZKOAhjRw
I use a slight bass boost and extreme compression. Also using voodoo.
Please, share your setup, whatever app or equipment.

I am thinking about buying these, what you think? Also that's sorta a weird setup you have, I'm gonna have to try it, what music type of music does that work best with in your opinion?

Wow that is an extreme equalizer setting. Does your headset over amplify mids or so u just like extreme highs and lows?
I have klipsch image 1's and they sound OK but I think this phone blows for actual audio playback.
Also I use dsp with rock eq and slight compression and bass boost. Also have voodoo sound to control volume.
What player are you guys using as well? I prefer power amp and I use play music player for streamed content.

Really don't like my phone for music either but I use power amp as well. Anyone have the audio technias ath-m50 pros that I linked above? I've seem good reviews on it so I really want to buy it. The only problem is that it cost just a much as a g2x now. I always change DSP to what mood I'm in and what music type

Why? Other than capicity, I don't see a reason to. My phone has better audio quality than my iPod Classic, and I don't have to carry two devices with me.

I use Power Amp as my music player. Here's screenshots of my EQ settings. I mostly listen to classic rock with a little bit of game soundtracks.

I used Screenshot UX from the Play Store to take the screenshots. It lets you save them as .jpg files, so it uploads fine through the XDA App.

Omg I never thought I'd say this but I actually like your setup, I thought it was too extreme but you can definitely here the instruments more clearly, as if it was crisp. I don't know how to explain it but I might use it. Btw with my set up I was listening to 100 years and I lie that set up with that one

Good EQ Settings and App?

What eq settings would you recommend for the Rezound audio mod? I listen to mostly rap and classic rock so I'm looking for something that I could use for both without having to change it for each song. I also like deep bass but not overly loud. I have beats headphones.
