[Q] wiimote?

One of the biggest reasons I'm aiming for an android phone is the emulators.
I would love to be able to play nes/snes/n64 etc...
I have seen that you can pair a wiimote with a fair amount of android phones, but phones running sense are incompatible from what I've seen.
If the bootloader stays locked for good (no custom roms) is it still possible to get around this?
Or maybe someone could test this with sense 3.0 when they get their sensation.

Your evo doesn't use 3.0 Bluetooth it still uses the old one HTC put in their phones. Someone with a sensation will need to test this. Ports don't use the same Bluetooth as the sensation.

It has been like that since HTC Hero and it isnt gonna change until u put out sense

[Q] How to make Motorola Spice run faster?

Hi I recently picked up the Motorola Spice from Mobilicity and I wasn't happy with the constant lagging and crashing. I rooted the phone with SuperOneClick and deleted the annoying Motorola flashback feature that sllows down the phone. Is there anything else I can do to make my phone run faster?
Thanks,
Alex
Have you got any answer? My brother bought this phone and wanter to change ROM, but couldn't find anything so I'm looking for making it faster at least!
I don't know how everyone say you could change everything on Android and I'm having so much trouble with a phone like this..
To increase your devices performance you could see if a custom kernel with overclocking options is available.
Android devices can be changed more than others, but some just don't have alot of customisations because the device is not that popular.
So either they are available, you make them yourself or buy another device.
Well i think you can use setcpu on it but some people have had problems with overclocking pas the max 528mhz.
I would flash an overclockable kernel then run setcpu to see if that helped. If there are custom roms, install one of them to remove all the bloatware. Good luck.

Hey guys. I'm just going to let people know what I did in case anyone else needs it.
set cpu didn't work on this device.
i downloaded titanium backup and tried to shed all that extra weight. delete flashback, corporate calendar, stock browser, anything that just takes up space. obviously back it up first just in case.
install Opera Mini. The phone is pretty slow and if you're on mobilicity, the network isn't that great. opera mini works like a charm
and lastly, dont expect much from it. it does what i need it to do now and thats most important
good luck

Are people still developing Android for the LG GW620?

Open Etna has basiclly dropped the developing for this phone.
Do you know any other developers?
I'm currently using GB 2.3.5, but it's not that smooth.
Thanks!
Hello,
Are you still lurking arround here?
My GW620 is running Cyanogenmod 7, and is doing great with CPU max ~620 Mhz or something. This actualy made me change my mind about buying another handset.
When I saw someone was working on a ICS mod for our old EVE, it brought me joy and hope that we might still use it for some longer time.
Also, he/those who were working on ICS for this hanset also succeded, but dropped the port in a Beta version that has some issues (camera, signal, partial networking). I have also tried to read/undestand/fix issues. Unfortunately I am but a noob in this.
Maybe we could ask the good guys to take another look at this port, now that the driver sources are available. It would be great to use a stable ICS on this device, would bring EVE back to every-day life for many.

Android is p!ssing me off.

OK, so android has just started pissing me off a little, because it has not been handling my ram, and CPU usage very good, and it really causes my phone to be slow, and make me want to bust it into a bazillion pieces. Anyone else had this issue? It may not just be android, it is probably the phone too. I really want to switch to Ubuntu, I want to get a project started, I just don't know how. Would anyone else like to chip in and help me?t thanks
What model phone?
Version of android?
Rooted?
The devs in here usually make phones work better.

Any developers working on Android L for the Infuse?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there has been any development for the Android L for the Samsung Infuse? Is this something that is possible / feasible for the Infuse or are there hardware limitations that will prevent it from ever being installed?
I have 4 Samsung Infuses that my entire family still uses, and it runs fantastic! I wonder how long we can stretch this thing out or if it is essentially at the end of life for development.
Thanks for all your hard work guys! Has been an awesome ride!
I've wondered if we'll see it as well... It is more the question of if a developer is willing to try it, then maintain it. I'm sure someone will compile it but I'm not so sure anyone will maintain it.

The problem will be not hardware related but driver related it'd require modifying our already heavily modified (GB based) boot loader and kernel and also putting cracks where massive amounts of cracks are already in place for the drivers, so that said I'm not saying it's impossible just not very likely however anyone who is willing to try please don't let this deter you from your attempts instead go and prove me wrong ( I already have lollypop on 3 of my 4 working devices would love to have it on my 4th
Im waiting on it too
